Our stay was enjoyable in this comfortable, clean, 2 bed-two bath apartment with updated kitchen.Paolo is a very responsive host. The neighborhood is across the Arno but accessible to everything and a relief from the crowds! 👍
This was a perfect flat for our stay in Florence. It is on the other side of the river which was very nice because we were in Florence for the WInter Holiday and it was very crowded. The other side of the bridge was a nice reprieve. It still had fabulous resturants and shops just not as busy as the other side. The only complaint was that the dryer didn’t work well. Everything else was great. The ceilings were high and we had lots of space in the rooms. Plenty of storage in the bedrooms as well. The bathrooms were also a treat. Plenty of space for everything. Truly loved our stay.
Great location! Apartment has an ideal floor plan when traveling with a family. Spotless, with all the amenities, pictures are accurate, and great communication with host. We would absolutely recommend to friends or family visiting Florence. Only slight challenge was WI-FI connection for door entrance, but host was super helpful to solve.
An amazing trip, made better by having the ideal location. Being south of the river Arno, in a cozy neighborhood with restaurants aplenty just meters away from the apartment, made this property the perfect place. The flat was spacious, handsomely decorated and had all the amenities we could need / want. 5 stars!
We spent 5 nights in this beautiful condo situated in walking distance to all Florence attractions. The building was on a quiet street with many different restaurants and coffee shops a short distance away. The condo had very comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and a wonderful kitchen to cook in. It was air conditioned which was necessary given the temperatures during our visit. The only draw back we found was the key system which operated off your mobile phone and was dependent upon the wifi. Although there was a code if the wifi was down. Great property - great stay.
Wonderful 500 year old apartment! Beautifully furnished and very close to everything. Wonderful restaraunts and attractions within easy walking distance! Owners are very responsive to any issues or recommendations for sightseeing!!
Great location if you want to be a little further from the busy streets in Florence. Walkable to museums but does take some time. We used the scooters a Lot. Grocery store fairly close. Ponte Vecchio bridge is close with a lot of cute shops. Apt had everything you need. It was a little dusty inside. Communication with owner was great. Initially it did take us quite awhile to figure out how to enter building and apartment. Thank you for opening up your beautiful home 🤗
The unit is located in a quiet neighbourhood in Florence that is close to all the tourist and local attractions. We were steps away from accessing Piazzale Michelangelo, which was great for hill runs and views to the Florence skyline. A 10 minute walk put us into the heart of Florence.
Our host Paolo was extremely helpful when we had issues accessing out unit and someone was there to meet us right away. Paolo was also great with staying in contact with us, in case we needed anything and was extremely helpful in arranging a taxi service (who knew that taxi's were hard to book in Florence) on the day we were leaving.
Our family had a great stay and we would recommend and stay here again.
Our 13-day stay at Casa Giardino Uno in Florence was exceptional. The apartment, fitting 4 comfortably, blends modern amenities with cozy charm. The large, well-equipped kitchen was perfect for meals. Check-in was a breeze with a convenient phone app. Its location is ideal - peaceful yet a short walk from Florence's historic center and close to a supermarket near Ponte Vecchio. Pierpaolo, our host, was quick to respond to any queries, making our stay smooth. Casa Giardino Uno is now our top choice for future Florence visits!
This location is perfect. You are 10-15 minutes from everything you will want to see by foot. If you are driving there is plenty of parking as well.
The apartment was as described and comfortable for 4 of us. Make sure you have wireless coverage for check in or allow the agent to meet you.
Overall, not sure I will ever be able stay anywhere else in Florence.
This is a very spacious and lovely decorated apartment with all the amenities in Florence. They even had water, juice and milk waiting for us in the fridge. We had some issues with the online lock system (later learned outage of cell company abroad) but host was very responsive and it was not an issue once we connected. The apartment is one flight up, so there are stairs that one must navigate after the entrance to the building. Not an issue for us, but I don’t recall if that was in the listing so wanted to share. Easy walk across river to all the sights (closest bridge is Ponte Grazie) and very close to Piazza Michelangelo and Ponte Vecchio.
The apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated. The architecture (high ceilings, arches etc.) was very distinctive and the living area quite spacious and comfortable. The door locks/codes were a little tricky, but we figured it out eventually.
I have two minor criticisms: The wifi was fine in the living room, but it did not work in my bedroom, which was disappointing. And, the towels could have been a bit larger. Other than that, the apartment worked out great. It is a very nice apartment in a safe area. Sufficient dishes and glasses, etc. The hosts were good at communicating, and allowed us to place our luggage in the apartment a few hours before we checked in.
Apartment- The location was very quiet, but just a short walk, 10/15 minutes, to the heart of the city. The apartment was very spacious. More room than 4 people need in fact, and we did not take advantage of the kitchen, as we ate out, but you would be set to cook. The entry app worked fine, slower than a traditional key, but when you are gone all day it doesn't matter. Communication- We had quick response to our questions, and the issues were resolved.
We stayed at this property for four days while visiting Florence. Our only issue was upon arrival, there was a problem with the digital key. It was unable to function and the code did not work. We eventually got into the building and into the apartment. However, the digital key for the apartment door never worked for the entire stay, which was disappointing. The check-in process was difficult as well because there was no Wi-Fi on the property to open the door when we were trying to get in. Other than the check the apartment was great and the location was great. The amenities were great. There were a ton of nice cafés bars and restaurants close as well as a little grocery shop. It’s definitely far enough off the beaten path to avoid a lot of the big for crowds but close enough to walk to many main attractions. I would recommend trying to arrange to have somebody check you in.
We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends and family.
The property was a converted mansion 2 blocks from the Arno and two of the main bridges over it. Lots of artisans live and work there and the Piazzele Michaelangelo looks down on it from its staircases. Great location, lots of bus service along the river. The apartment has a washer, dryer, dishwasher and air conditioning units with lovely decorative pieces in the rooms. Dramatically decorated. If you are someone who loves to cook, you will find the kitchen adequate but not as well appointed as you like, perhaps. For example, only enough plates for 4 but cutlery for many more. No baking pans for roasting or baking desserts. Full sized fridge, bless it. A large supermarket near the Ponte Vecchio had nearly everything we needed, including wines, meats, pastas, cheeses and fresh and frozen fruits and veg. Gelato was available every few blocks. Quite a few neighborhood trattoria and ristorantes frequented by the locals. The places overlooking the river are pricier but delizioso as well. Very close to the Pitti Palace and other attractions. The beds were comfy with great linens and towels. Bathrooms are beautiful with great showers, but no tub if you need that. Marialaura was very responsive and answered our calls and texts very quickly. It was a bit more expensive than we wanted but all in all was a very pleasant place to stay..
My wife and I spent a fantastic 10 days in the property. The accommodations are listed exactly to detail and comfortable. The surrounding area is full of local life and energy. Highly recommend staying here. Marialaura is a wonderful host and graciously accommodating with recommendations and assistance as needed.
