We listen to our guests and implement what they suggest. So what is new this year, ??? quite a lot BUT NO PRICE INCREASE.
New Showers throughout; decorating, new carpet on the 3 storey stair well and hallways; extended kitchen with extra larger dishwasher (Now 2 in main kitchen) Six Ring ceramic hob, extra large pans, extra freezer, (two more fridge freezers in second kitchen); new memory foam beds and some tartan bedding; re-furbished Sitting room; Chandeliers in some larger bedrooms; Bluetooth speakers; new wireless alarm system installed throughout the whole building; phone chargers; extra large welcome pack; new outside seating and BBQ;

The house is superbly suited for family holidays or occasions be it wedding parties or to celebrate a special birthday. The house is full of character and luxuriously finished to ensure an enjoyable holiday whether for a short break or longer and is a superb base for a family holiday and ideal touring location.

Superb

I arranged the hire of the house for a surprise 50th birthday weekend for my husband and the welcome package with birthday cakes was so kind and unexpected, such a lovely personal touch and very much appreciated by all!! Cannot fault anything about the property, will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you Chris x

Fantastic stay!

A group of us stayed here for our annual get together and it was great. House was clean and warm. Plenty of cooking facilities with 2 kitchens and both well equipped. Welcome pack left from the owners was amazing! Lots of lovely treats and they even got all the kids Easter eggs because we stayed Easter weekend. Owners were lovely and went over and above for us. Thank you 😊

Great for family gathering

Fantastic Family Reunion

Pre-Covid, we'd meet up every years, cousins, brothers and sisters, aunts uncles, the whole clan, somewhere near the border, as middle ground. Alas the hotel we always went to was converted into flats during Covid, so when we wished to restart our pre christmas get together we had to find a new place. We found Telford Manor through Vrbo, and fitted the bill perfectly. But we had some disasters *stories, in the past before we found the hotel, so was very apprehensive going to a new location . We were greeted, exactly as agreed, by the nicest owners, who guided us through this beautiful home. They had set out a Christmas table, including wine, cakes, biscuits, even a big box of chocolates. In the perfect sized kitchen/dinning room, 20 round the table. The house was amazing, we had 23 in total, and fitted perfectly. Downstairs was our party area, keeping the festivities separate from those needing a break, on the first floor, and the majority of rooms on the top floor. We couldnt hear anthing, and we can be loud! The beds were lovely, rooms all homely and comfortable. Showers and toilets clean... everything you want! House was warm, which was great for November. We did habe to turn down some radiators, which is much better than turning them up, and no heat! Over all we had a blast! The house, Christine and Tom have a wonderful property. If you 20+, and need a location to get together, i can not recommend this property enough!

Golden Wedding Family Celebration

A beautiful house with very welcoming hosts. Lovely setting, and easily big enough for 16 adults with four children and three dogs. A wonderful place for a celebration.

Great property for hosting a large family or group. Only feedback would be to provide some form of fan as many windows were sealed shut. Also problems with WIFI but overall very good stay

Review

Great size for large parties. Garden technically enclosed by small wall but not secure for small children and pets. Wifi not good. Found various items of clothing and left over party accessories behind furniture so clearly not a thorough clean. Had to wash dishes and cutlery before use. Generous welcome pack with cakes, crisps and chocolates but maybe more practical things like milk would have been better. No key safe for keys and only 1 set left so a bit inconvenient for large parties who wish to go out separately. Overall helpful owners and a pleasant stay but improvements could be made.

Fantastic Stay!

We hired the house to celebrate my 60th birthday and invited friends and family from England and family from Edinburgh. The location was perfect and a short walk into Moffat. All our guessed were blown away with the house and history. Our hosts Chris and Tam were brilliant and ensured we enjoyed our stay. The spread set up for my birthday was superb and we simply could ask for better hosts. The weekend was amazing and the house was so roomy and confortable. Houston birthday weekend

We all had a very relaxing and comfortable weekend celebrating several birthdays. The space was very spacious and we were able to enjoy different areas of the house. Everyone slept well and we could walk in and out of Moffat easily. Would thoroughly recommend the house if you want a stress free weekend. Hosts were very attentive and had a lovely welcome pack for our arrival.

80th Birthday & family holiday

We came from all around the country and from Malta to celebrate our mum's, grandma, great grandma's birthday. The house was great for a large party of people of different ages. Plenty of room to spread out. The welcome pack was fantastic and it took us all week to get through it. The family had a great week.

Family Party

Telford Manor is a very comfortable place to stay. We all had a great family time in this house. Ages from 3 to 70 and every age in between. There is no need to worry about noise as this house is not near other dwelling Houses. Can I also say Thank You to the owners for the most amazing Welcome Pack. Thank You

A great house for a large group

Communication with Chris was excellent from the moment we booked until the moment we left. The house is great, plenty of room for 4 generations of our family. Easy access to Moffat but also a great local pub/restaurant 3 minutes walk away.

Johns surprise 50th

Brilliant property rooms are amazing, party room and down stairs area is just perfect. Fully functional kitchens which are immaculate. BBQ are was idea. If anything could be improved is instead of a bedroom down stairs this could be a games room with a pull out bed. We are party people and you could not hear a sound but no one fancied the room down stairs. The welcome pack was amazing and the cake and bubbly was well recieved.

Perfect property for a family gathering!

The house was perfect for all 25 of us. Bedrooms accommodated everyone comfortably and the living rooms were ideal for entertaining. The bar and lounge were brilliant for the celebrations. The karaoke machine was a hit! As we had a few kids with us the garden wasn’t quite big enough for rounders, but the playing field and swings in Beattock were just two minutes away. Chris was very responsive to our messages and the welcome pack on arrival was extraordinary! All in all a fantastic weekend!

A fabulous how, perfect for a family celebration. Very well equipped and comfortable.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay and the house was ideal for our party of 22. Spacious and comfortable, everything was on hand that we needed and a lovely welcome pack of goodies and cake was waiting for us. Very close to Moffat and Beatiock in a beautiful rural location. Dog friendly too! Thanks so much so to the hosts!

Happy Hen Party

What an amazing weekend we have just had, thank you for the warm welcome Chris and Tam. We walked in to an amazing welcome pack, the home made cakes were delicious! The house was on another level, it was so big, cosy and spacious. Enough room for 15 of us with more to spare. If that wasn’t enough we had amazing wether, coupled with bbq and karaoke what more could we want! I’m sure we’re already planning our return next year! Thanks again Lisa.
