Fabulous!

Lovely property! The bakery is unique lodging and was in an excellent location to explore Normandy. The walk into Bayeux was a bit long but lovely along a river. We visited the DDay sites as well as Mont St Michel by car. The owner lives in a large house on the property and was very welcoming and informative, though with no one present on arrival it was easy to follow directions to access the property. This is absolutely a great location to stay if you are travelling in Normandy by car.

Great location and unique property in Bayeux

This is a wonderful place and walking close to all of Bayeux. The unit we had was small, no doubt, but very comfortable for our three night stay.

A stay in Bayeux

Very nice apartment in a beautiful setting. There’s a large courtyard and gardens on the property. Our room was comfortable and well equipped, our host was very gracious and helpful. The property was secure and a 5 to 6 minute drive to Bayeux. Very enjoyable stay!

Excellent base for visiting the D-day beaches. Easy walk to Bayeux. Property in Cremel was in an unique setting and Christophe the owner was very hospitable.

Pas à la hauteur de l’attente

Le cadre est très beau mais le logement est décevant dans son ensemble. Chambre avec petit vélux donnant un sentiment d’enfermement. Literie plus que moyenne. Coin cuisine et équipement rudimentaires.

An amazing place to stay

The place is beautiful, very close to Bayeux. The hosts are super nice and super helpful. They did an amazing job with their place. We would totally recommend this place and stay here again.

Perfect headquarters for Normandy

Bayeux is a great town and the perfect spot to explore Normandy. D-day beaches are easily accessible The property is small but comfortable. Sleeping and bathing are upstairs and the kitchen is small but we did not find it to be a problem The host, Christophe is very accommodating and helpful when needed

Wonderful Stay

We stayed here for four nights in September 2023. We travelled to Bayeux by train. This location is close to the Bayeux rail station. The site is very special. We will fondly remember the early evenings sitting outside our accommodation in the inner courtyard. The accommodation is excellent. The kitchen is compact but has a small fridge, two burners and a microwave. A good selection of kitchen wares is available to use. The bathroom (located on the upper level adjacent to the bedroom) is large. We made use of the drying rack above the tub after handwashing a few items. Christophe and Veronique are considerate and helpful hosts. Directions and access to the property and the accommodation's front door were accurate and easy to follow. Thanks for sharing your property (and your fruit), Christophe and Veronique!

Manoir Ferme de Cremel

A lovely space to stay and visit the beaches and Bayeux! Be sure to walk the path along the river and catch the evening show at the cathedral in the summertime. Perfectly located, unique property and with a great host!

schöne kleine Unterkunft für 2 Personen

Wir haben hier 2 Wochen verbracht. Im Haus ist es sehr ruhig und angenehm kühl. Alle notwendigen Dinge (WLAN, Waschmaschine, Kochutensilien, Toaster etc.) sind vorhanden. Für 2 Personen hat man genügend Platz. Die Kochnische ist sehr eng und leider war eine Herdplatte defekt, sodass wir nur eine Herdplatte zum Kochen hatten. Außerdem war die Toilettenspülung leider defekt. Die Vermieter waren immer gut zu erreichen, waren sehr höflich und haben sich um die Anliegen gekümmert. Es ist eine schöne Unterkunft, wenn man mit maximal 2 Personen reist und nur ein paar Tage dort verbringen möchte.

Great property & location

The location was really convenient and Christophe was very helpful and welcoming. Apartment was great. We didn't do any meal preparation. Only downside was the shower was a bathtub with a hand held shower attachment. Worked for a couple days stay but I wouldn't want to do shower that was for a week. All in all, this is a really charming and special accommodation.

Absolutely STUNNING place to stay! It is an old walled estate which was meticulously restored over a 14 year period (!). Walking to Bayeux centre is about 15 minutes.

Our stay in Bordeaux

This was a perfect location to experience Normandy! Bayeaux is a great pedestrian town, and our hosts were wonderful. Many day trips to D-Day sites, Giverny, Mont St. Michel, and Rouen were possible because of the central location of the property. Our site, a lovingly restored bakery in an historic farm manor was charming, clean and everything we had expected.

This place is an absolute hidden treasure.

I’m telling all my traveling friends about this place. This was an historic property that was a page out of royal estates. We had an absolutely memorable time. Very close to the D-Day beaches and Mount St. Micheal. Our host was very personable and helpful. We would not hesitate to book here again.

Leuke oude bakkerij

Fijn verblijf in Bayeux, als uitvalsbasis om de invasiestranden te bezoeken. De omgeving van Bayeux is mooi en het verkennen met de fiets zeker waard. Gastheer Christophe is een bevlogen persoon die snel en adequaat communiceert en bij gebleken ongemak(ontbrekende badstop:-) direvt in actie komt.

Fabulous week in Normandy

My son (9) and i stayed at the property for a week having previously lived in Normandy some years ago. It easily rates as one of the nicest places i have every stayed on any holiday, and Christophe was a great host who could not do enough to help. A truly unique property in a unique setting. And perfect for exploring the Normandy coast. We had a wonderful week.
