We loved our stay in Newlyn. The flat was comfortable, beautifully appointed, well stocked, and an easy walk to anything we needed in the village. We loved having breakfast and seeing seals playing in the sea below. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated that the decor and furniture felt like a real home with its artistic decorating touches and warmth rather than your typical rented vacation home. We hope to return again one day!
This property in Newlyn, just along the Promenade from Penzance, is all it says it is and so much more. On arrival, we were immediately stunned. The descriptions and photos do not fully capture how wonderful and well located this property is. With views over the bay, we watched the fishermen come and go, and we were able to treat ourselves to the local catch a couple of times. And what a great base from which to explore western Cornwall. Hope we can stay again!
The location of the house is wonderful. Close to good restaurants in Newlyn, easy walk to Penzance, and a good home base for Cornwall. It was a great house for our family of four. The one negative was we did not have working wifi the entire stay which made looking up restaurants and activities very difficult.
What looks unassuming from outside is a fantastic flat, amazing views and stunning decor. Location is great and close to some great cafes and restaurants.
Very enjoyable stay.
This is a really nicely kitted out apartment. Clean, spacious, comfortable and homely. Lots of cutlery, crockery and all the things you forget to bring.
The view is as close a sea view as I have ever experienced and you are perfectly located for a brisk walk into town. Couldn’t fault it.
We stayed here in Jul/Aug 21 as a family of 4. Could have sat and looked at the views all day from the luxury accommodation. The layout of the property is fabulous, all on the first floor of this converted boat house. Parking made it really easy to come and go as we pleased. Gorgeous seal just offshore most mornings. Wonderful!
The property is great- in an unlikely position (in a car park) but just behind the sea wall and has amazing views out to sea, with some added excitement of seal watching. All comms with the property manager were excellent and the property was very well appointed. We had an excellent few days despite the weather not being great. The location in Newlyn is central and within easy reach of Penzance and Mousehole by foot. The recommendations from the host were excellent, we would definitely return.
Beautifully styled apartment with great sea views from every window
This is a beautifully designed and luxurious apartment in an ideal location. The kitchen is very well equipped (spices, cleaning products etc). Parking is easy, which is important in Newlyn. You are approximately 30 metres from the sea. The beds are all very comfortable and the bathrooms are luxurious. The living room is very inviting and restful. There are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. Lenn is a lovely and welcoming host and communicates very promptly if you have a question. Five of us had a wonderful week here, teenagers included. Looking forward to returning in the future.
Absolutely stunning property! Enjoyed every minute of the ocean views, tidal changes, sea gulls and sea air! High quality decor and nice linens, towels, toiletries, kitchen essentials and a well stocked pantry. We cooked in most meals with local seafood and veg while enjoying exploring the lovely recommendations and nearby towns during the day. Highly recommend and definitely comfortable for a couple, two couples or a family.
We (4 adults, 2 young children) had an amazing week’s stay in Newlyn. The property is a real hidden secret - in such a central spot but so quiet and protected. Plus, the views from every window along the coast and out to sea are unreal. Lands end, Sennen, Porthcurno, Marazion, Mousehole and more are short drives away and it’s an easy walk in to Penzance for restaurants or an amazing train journey to St Ives. We loved it!
A very welcoming home with lots of character throughout. Great location in Newlyn, right on the sea front with spectacular sea views. Easy walk into Penzance. A great base for a holiday.
Amazing location, great themed decor, comfortable beds. A home from home. Seal watch from the sofa.
With views across Penzance to Mount St Michael, out to sea and also to the right the traditional fishing harbour of Newlyn - 180 degree view of the sea. When the tide is in you feel like you are aboard a ship! We enjoyed watching Two seals From the apartment. The apartment is comfortable and beautifully decorated with lovely artwork. convenient for shops, pubs and restraints, Unique place to stay
Beautiful accommodation with fantastic sea views from every room.
The accommodation was first rate and location ideal for accessing Penzance, St Ives, Marazion and Mouse Hole without being in the thick of the tourist crowds. Would highly recommend.
We know Newlyn so well - we had a flat there for 10 years, since when we have rented 5 different properties, but without doubt this was the best. (Don’t tell everyone or will always be booked,)

Excellent Rental
Mt wife, my daughter and I visited the rental April 10 - 14, 2019. The property was ideally situated - it had views of the ocean from every room, and it was in the heart of Newlyn with access to shops and stores but on a quiet lane. It was thoughtfully decorated with a nicely modern kitchen and two modern bathrooms with showers. Equally important, the owner was very prompt in setting up the rental and responding to questions, and provided excellent recommendations about local things to enjoy and do. Outstanding experience!

Wonderful stay in Newlyn!
We stayed at Lenn's house for a week in September 2017. It has been recently re-done and is very nicely appointed throughout, with new furniture and appliances. Beds are very comfortable. There's a large television and great Wifi. Pubs and groceries are close by and convenient. But the most awesome thing about the house is the spectacular sea view. Highly recommended.

Why they chose this property
Always wanted a home with a in the unspoilt non touristy Newlyn Harbour Village, far from the madding crowd yet close enough to shops/ cinema/ art galleries/ restaurants/ cafes and coffeeshops if you need them. No traffic noise, only the sound of the sea. And did I mention the incredible views?!! No car walk or cycle everywhere....
