Get together
A good location for Berwick. The property was great for a fit 87 year old and rest of family. Great for a dog, lots of fab walks. A bit chilly in the evenings due to lack of warmth during the day, a cool week 🙄 Friendly neighbours near to the property too. Excellent wine bar in town on Bridge Street, relatively new, highly recommend, so friendly.

Well equipped family home
The house was well equipped, but quite cold despite it being summer. There were neighbors at behind that were grinding and drilling from early in the morning, which wasn't very restful. The mattress in the master bedroom was not comfortable investment in new one is essential. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but think it was overpriced.

A cosy cottage in a great location
The Blue House is attractively furnished, comfortable, well-equipped and within walking distance of the centre of the town and many points of interest. We spent Christmas there, and were delighted to discover that our hosts, Tim and Fiona, had provided us with not only a bottle of bubbly but a fully decorated Christmas tree as well. It was a really thoughtful touch. We would happily stay at the Blue House again as we didn't have time to explore all the things there are to see and do in this lovely part of the country.

Lovely character, excellent location!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue House. The property itself is just as shown in the pictures, the hosts Fiona and Tim were accommodating from start to finish-even offering a lift from the train station! Lovely touches like free wine (always appreciated!) cereal, biscuits etc made us feel so welcome. Beds were comfy and location is great, easy to find and only a few mins on foot to the centre.

Great short stay!
I had a great birthday weekend staying in the lovely, comfortable house in the middle of Berwick. It was no near to everything we wanted to do and a perfect cosy base for the evenings. A lovely hamper was left for us with wine, cereal, biscuits etc which meant we were fully relaxed straight away! Thank you!

Two Night Stop on Our Way to Trossachs
We stayed here on route to Loch Lomond National Park as we wanted to visit Jim Clark Museum. Good accommodation. Very convenient for Berwick town and Holy Island. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, first class shower, very nice helpful owner. We would stay here again if we needed to be in the area.

Perfect coastal retreat with very helpful and supportive owners
Blue House in Berwick ticked all our boxes and we had a wonderful holiday. The owners did everything to make our holiday enjoyable. We found everything we could possibly need for our stay including books and brochures about Berwick and the area around. Northumberland and the Scottish Borders are well worth a visit offering a beautiful landscape and loads to see and to do. We'll definitely come back again.

A gem in a beautiful town.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Blue House. Accommodation is of a high standard with all amenities and more provided. The house is well appointed and very homely with extra touches which make for a very comfortable stay. We were welcomed by Tim who was very helpful and pointed out places to eat and things to see. There was a vase of beautiful roses in the living room, recent magazines to read, a welcome pack and even hot water bottles!! Would definitely recommend it. It is also well situated for the town centre.

Quirky, comfortable, warm and welcoming!
A gorgeous property with plenty of room, amenities and even some ouside space. A free disc is provided for free street parking for one car, plus a visitor's free parking disc to use at many attractions in Northumberland. Win-win. We were made extremely welcome by the lovely owner and very kindly given all sorts of treats and thoughtful touches. Traveling from the flower-starved ME in March, we really appreciated the spring flowers, extra bedding and even hot water bottles. Very thoughful... The property is quirky in a good way, warm and spacious. We like the decor and furniture. Sylish but comfortable and practical. The dining table lends itself to family entertainment and more chairs can be provided if needed. An easy stay for us and very much appreciated. We are already booked to return for longer. Don't hesitate!

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable house in the heart of the town!
We had a truly wonderful weekend stay at the Blue House. The owners met us at the property to show us around and give us parking permits for the weekend (so helpful). We loved the layout of the house and especially the fireplace which made our stay so cosy. An easy walk to restaurants, pubs, shops, etc from the house made it the perfect location. We would recommend the Blue House to anyone looking for a comfortable home away from home getaway.

Perfect base for exploring Berwick
Great house that manages to be both spacious and cosy. Perfectly located for exploring Berwick, with shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. And the A1 is just minutes away for exploring further afield.

Home from home
We had a lovely weekend break at Blue House. My husband and I were visiting for the weekend with our 1 and 3 year olds and my in-laws, to see family in the area. It was the perfect space. We hosted tea with great granny and aunt and uncle too. Great location. Lovely host/owners. Lovely space. Would go back and would recommend.
