We absolutely loved staying here! It was in the perfect location for us, giving us the quiet countryside without being too far from the places we love to visit when we come to this area of Wales.
The house was amazingly equipped, I was able to even find a charger for one of the kids tablets which saved my life on the 4 hour car journey home after I forgot the charger at home!
The kitchen was fully equipped which was great as we have small children who require lots of routine so being able to cook and eat in the garden was perfect. The shower was also incredible and I now want one at home!
We were even able to see dolphins on 2 days of our long weekend which was such an incredible opportunity for us!!!
The cottage was beautifully furnished, very comfortable and the shower was lovely. We didn't spend much time in the lovely garden but it was gorgeous. The beds were comfy and the lounge very cosy.
The village is quiet and not a huge amount there but it is a short drive to get to the coast. The outlook from the windows and the front was stunning.
The kitchen was stocked with crockery and cutlery - everything you need for a short stay, although no washing machine (who wants to do laundry on holiday anyway!)
Thank you for the local OS map - it was a lifesaver as signal is not great but Wifi is good so download your directions before you leave!
A great place to stay with friendly neighbours.
Nice property. Very sweet. Check out time from owner was considerably earlier than on the website. Tv only works as a DVD player.

Not a very positive experience
This property is in a lovely part of the country, and was clean and well-presented. However, we weren't able to stay in the house for the two nights that we had reserved. When we let ourselves in, we were stopped by the next-door neighbour. She appeared to be in a drunken state. She behaved in an inappropriate way, and even kissed our ten year old son, who has a disability and so is vulnerable to respiratory infections, so we had real COVID concerns. She then went on to say that she would be playing music that evening, and we felt unable to stay and relax at the property. Instead we booked a night in a hotel, and then returned home early. We expressed our concerns to the property owner, who refused any kind of refund, even a small amount of money as a goodwill gesture. The property is also down a tiny little alleyway, and the parking is quite far away from the cottage, so it is unsuitable for anyone with a disability. Would not recommend if you are staying with a young family or with mobility issues.
Beautiful location. Very homely. Plenty of local amenities if needed lovely local walks
Easy to book. Local parking. Slight issues regarding accessibility to the property and no signal upon arrival due to location, which was resolved once I went to a local tea roo.
The property was clean and cozy. It’s close to Cardigan if you need to go shopping, eat out, and near plenty of nice beaches for walks. Good supply of pans, plates and cutlery. Would recommend.
We stayed at the property for a week and it is an ideal basis to explore the beautiful coast of west Wales. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and we couldn’t have asked for more! Would recommend.
We were so pleased to find this accommodation at a very reasonable rate as it seemed to meet our needs perfectly - a comfortable cottage for a weekend away with my husband and 11 year old daughter, in a good location for visiting local sights.
We weren't disappointed. The cottage was exactly as described. It was clean, tidy and well equipped.
The neighbour, Sue, who helps with the property, popped over as soon as we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. The owner also responded to messages very promptly.
We would definitely recommend this property to others, and may well look to book there again in the future.
Lovely views and garden and house itself was compact but fine. Great base for beaches and Cardigan close by. Lovely walks alongside River Teifi. Help at hand at no. 2 and the woman was very friendly. There was an outdoor BBQ, table chairs, decking and tastefully decorated. In warmer weather this would have been amazing.
However, the weather was cold when we stayed (despite being August) but we couldn't get the central heating to work (and no instructions left out). The neighbour next door was very nosy with a dog that barked every time we went in or out of the property. There was no parking near by the cottage (it is located on a row of terraced houses with no road access) and the nearest road to park is at the top of a steep hill. We had a note put on our car by one resident telling us not to park outside their house. You need a car to travel around so this was not ideal. If you have small children or mobility issues this needs to be flagged up more in the description.
The bed in the main bedroom was VERY soft so one of us slept on the sofa (not great) and the blinds let light in. The second bedroom was so small the door couldn't open fully with two beds in there.
In all, a lovely cottage for a few days break but for the reasons above, make sure it is the right place for you.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
good access to the beaches
The property is in a quiet location, and it is very well situated for getting to all the beautiful, local beaches. As three adults staying we found the property to be comfortable, although the weather did not allow us the opportunity to sit out on the lovely patio area.
Was a lovely, quaint little cottage with all the amenities you could wish for.
Only problem we had was the heating not really working upstairs so made it quite cold, especially with two little ones. I wouldn't say it was particularly friendly for really young children (ours are 1 and 4) but that's no fault of the owner. Just something to consider. Lots of dvds etc to watch, but the TV wasn't plugged in to an aerial or the broadband which was a tad odd.
But overall it was a lovely little cottage.
Very nice little cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay and the coast within easy reach. Neighbours are very friendly and all in all a lovely stay with beautiful views.
We made this our base for our west wales adventures and we were not disappointed.
Such a beautiful property with amazing views. Both us and our children loved the house with all its cottage charm. It was perfect we would honestly love to live there. Jason the owner was easy to contact and very helpful and the neighbours to the property were such lovely people. We kayaked in Newquay and went dolphin watching took our youngest to all skateparks in cardigan and Haverfordwest and went sightseeing then relaxed at the cottage in the evenings.
We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to come relax and explore. It is beautifully done we enjoyed looking at the pictures showing the progress of the upgrade to the property. The love and attention to detail is evident everywhere. We will defiantly be back.
Stayed here for 5 nights over August bank holiday, my family come from Fishguard so it was nice to explore the beaches near this property, can highly recommend Poppit. Also be careful with local places to eat as some stop at 8.30 but majority 9, Pizzatipi and mexican street food in Cardigan were lovely! The house is clean, very picturesque & friendly neighbors. Beds comfy & lots of DVD’s left to watch on tv. Thank you for having us.
