Gorgeous beachfront condo in Pointe West! VILLA VISTA features three bedrooms and two baths. This condo is the perfect place to enjoy your Pointe West vacation. It is located on the TOP level (3RD FLOOR) which allows you to easily enjoy the beautiful beachfront view from the living or dining space in this open floor plan condo or from the private, shaded balcony.

This condo offers: a sleeper sofa in the living room, king bed in the master, a second bedroom with a queen bed, a third bedroom with another king bed & two custom ottoman beds making this condo ideal for couples or two small families vacationing together. . Sleeps 9 comfortably. 2 High Def LED TV's, WIFI, living room nicely decorated, Fully equipped kitchen, Everything you need for a great vacation!
A storage locker is provided with this unit.

Pointe West is a privately owned resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island, located approximately 30 minutes from The Strand & other great Galveston attractions. You will have exclusive access to our beach that is clean & groomed regularly offering you a perfect spot to relax & unwind, away from the crowds.

RESORT AMENITIES & FEE:
Pointe West Beach Club, open year-round, is a privately owned/separate entity, offering resort style amenities for guest enjoyment.The optional fee is $25 per person (ages 4 & up), per stay (not per day) should you wish to enjoy these amenities. The fee includes use of the Beach Club pool, the seasonally heated Bayside/lazy river pool, hot tubs and a basketball & pickle ball court. Per Beach Club regulations, a maximum of 3 guests per bedroom is allowed for purchase. Resort sponsored activities are offered seasonally for family fun.

The Pointe Restaurant is now open seasonally for lunch and dinner.

The Beach Club will directly email you an invoice for payment, should your party wish to purchase and enjoy the resort amenities. Once paid, you will pick up your amenity wristbands at the Beach Club Office, open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. *Please note their fees are non-refundable, we suggest waiting to closer to arrival for purchase. For questions about the fee or amenities you may contact the Beach Club at

**It is important to note that we manage the rental of your vacation home only. We are not in charge of the community grounds and Beach Club amenities to include the restaurant,pools, beach, or elevators.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
*Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out is 10:00 a.m. *You are welcome before check-in & after check-out to enjoy the beach and resort amenities if you have purchased Beach Club wristbands.
*Please note that all condos are accessible by stairs or elevators. In the event that elevators are placed out of service, stairs will be required. There are no refunds or alternatives for access to your vacation rental.
*Age Requirement is 26+ *No Prom, Graduation or High School groups are permitted even with chaperones, please!

CANCELLATION POLICY:
*31 or More Days Prior To Your Date of Arrival: A full refund will be issued less a $100.00 administrative fee and the Travel Insurance premium, if purchased.
*Cancellations 30 Days or less: No refunds or transfer of dates.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Is OFFERED for purchase when you secure your vacation reservation. Travel Insurance is coverage that can help protect you from losses from unexpected events that may occur. The hurricane season starts June 1 and ends November 30. Please review our cancellation as well as Storm and Cancellation Policies carefully! These are located in the rental agreement. Great place, great owners

The condo was very clean and well managed. We had an issue, so we contacted the owner. We heard back from them quickly and the issue was resolved so quickly it didn't interrupt our stay at all. The owners are kind and professional. We really enjoyed our stay.

Loved this property! (but note elevator is not reliable)

This property is amazing! My daughter and her friend graduated high school and we decided on this location for a mother/daughter trip. For the four of us it was plenty of room, you could add two more people easily. It is in a quiet location away from public access. The location is close to the beach (about a 5 minute walk) and has a beach front view. It was nice to be able to go to the beach and then back to the condo as we needed to. Communication from the owner was quick and friendly. The code made it easy to get in and not have to deal with a key. When parking, smaller vehicles fit in the indoor garage (a pickup or suburban would be tight), but there is limited outdoor parking. Beach club is within walking distance and was a nice additional attraction. The only downfall is the elevator not being functional. Being on the top floor it was a lot of up and down stairs (four flights) and by the end of the day it was not ideal. Carrying everything up when you get there takes some time and effort. Other than this, it was a wonderful property and great memories were made that we will forever be grateful for.

Best of both worlds

Loved the place - nice big patio overlooking the ocean. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. Kitchen very well appointed with everything you might need. Nice to enjoy both the beach AND the pool. Mosquitoes were brutal, but not much can be done about those pesky things except to pack lots of bug spray.

Nice getaway

House met our expectations. We have 2 sets of friends that have a condos in that area, so very familiar with Pointe West Beach Club and all it has to offer. The house has great views for a sunrise over the water. Loved being able to choose from traditional coffee maker or Keurig (we went the easy route). All appliances worked great (didn't use the W/D though). Only complaint is the elevator. We arrived on a Sunday, and it didn't work Mon afternoon - departure (Wed morning). Wouldn't be such a big deal but this condo is on the 3rd floor, so up and down stairs with the kiddos / baby / luggage and all wasn't much fun. Overall though, that was the only hiccup and I can't hold it against the actual condo

Awesome location

The location of this condo could not have been better. We had a completely unobstructed view of the ocean and well as a view of the bay behind the condo. Was able to get some terrific sunrise and moon rise photos from the balcony. The area was very clean and quiet, would expect that being 15+ miles from Galveston proper. The condo itself was well stocked and everything you might need to cook, although we did not. We purchased the "arm bands" for the use of the pool area and to access the bar, which we only visited once. So unless you really want to use the pool and the bar probably not worth the $25 each. Overall we had great relaxing time. Highly recommend this condo and will definitely be back

We loved the property! Rooms good size, lots of sleeping areas, lots of seating, great views! Beach area very clean. Quiet! Only downfall was being on 3rd floor and the elevator only working 1/2 the time we were there. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!

Villa Vista January 2023

I would have given a 5 star rate except for some minor things. If this unit has a crockpot we could not find it. One of the king beds is two twins pushed together. I would suggest more comfortable pillows also. There was a small bag of trash sitting on one of the bar stools when we arrived. And lastly the faulty fire alarm sounded for almost an hour. I think this was all of the building and not just our unit. I was in communication with the property manager during this time. It would have been nice if we had been offered an extra hour to check out as compensation. Thank you, Barbara R.

Best sunrise view ever

We had a group of 7 ranging in age from 3 to 70 and everyone had a great time. There was plenty of room for everyone. The foot stools that open into small beds were much better than the bunk beds one normally finds in larger units. Morning sunrise from the deck was special.

Villa Vista New Year's Getaway

My family spends 3-5 days between Christmas and New Year's at West Pointe each year. This was the first time we rented this unit, primarily for its location (3rd floor, beach frontage). All-in-all we had a great stay during an unseasonably warm time at the coast. We particularly enjoyed the large balcony table that let us gather outside (though most years this likely wouldn't have been an option). Already looking forward to our beach vacay for 2022!

Fantastic! Loved it!

The condo exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable and the owner was very responsive when we needed assistance with something. Very convenient location with close access to the beach club and beach. The view from the porch was fantastic. We are looking forward to returning and highly recommend this condo and location for anyone who’s planning a trip to Galveston.

Love Pointe West Properties

We started renting at Pointe West 6 years ago. We have usually rented houses and this was first condo experience. The condo is beautiful and BETTER than presented in photos. Lots of great extras not mentioned. VIEW is phenomenal. Condo was very QUIET & peaceful. We did not hear any other guests in condo unit and only children playing when on deck outside condo. Even from room to room I did not hear my family members and we had two young children. Karen and her company were EXCELLENT in responding to any questions we had on first day. Rest of week it felt just like home. It is CLEAN, COMFY, UPSCALE,. Every bed was VERY comfortable. All furnishings were in excellent condition ‘like new’. It really was amazing. Thanks again for providing an excellent, exceeding of expectations, rental for our family. We definitely would rent again. ,

Beautiful spot

This condo is absolutely everything it said it would be! It’s right in the middle of the beach (10min walk) and the pool area(5min walk). It was definitely the getaway we needed.

Great end of year break at the beach

We had a wonderful 5 day stay at Villa Vista. The condo was clean, comfortable and well organized, had a great view facing the beach, and was relaxing. Because we were there during the off season, we mostly enjoyed the beach with walks and playing in the sand (the beach is very wide in this part of Galveston, and not crowded at all). There are some very minor maintenance issues (broken door knob, non-functional coffee maker) but when we reported these to the management company they immediately sent over a new coffee maker with a small gift within hours. Very responsive! Just a note for parents traveling with small active children (ours is 16 months) - it took us a few hours to child-proof the condo (lots of door handles that pulled down easily instead of door knobs, decorative/ceramic/lamps/plugs/electronics at eye level, cleaning products under the sink, etc). To make life easier next time, I would take a couple dozen removable child cabinet locks (or even lots of elastic bands) and maybe a few electrical plug covers as well. Also, just be aware that no restaurants deliver to Pointe West (and the onsite restaurant was closed for the off-season), so either bring all your groceries or prepare for a drive to Galveston (we had pizza one night that was a 20 minute drive - one way - to pick up in Pirate's Beach). Overall, we liked the property, the amenities and the location, we would return again.
