About this property

“Take it Easy” at this waterfront home and enjoy the breath taking panoramic views of Lake Norman. Located in the middle of an 8 mile stretch of open water at Marker D7, you will be in the perfect position to view and enjoy it all!

Rock your troubles away on the front porch or relax under the gazebo on the private pier...while enjoying the sail boat races hosted by the Lake Norman Yacht Club (located just down the road), or find yourself amused by the antics of those playing on the lake. With plenty of space to sun bathe, play in the water, or relax under the shade of the mature trees...you will never want to leave.

If boating is a favorite past time...bring your boat and put in at the private boat slip located on the property. If you do not have a boat, there are several marinas in the area that rent them by the day. Golfers can enjoy the shores of Lake Norman while playing the courses at Trump National Golf Club, Mallard Head Country Club, or many other courses located in the area. There are many fun attractions and activities to keep your family entertained while visiting!

When you find that you must go inside you will appreciate that the main floor has been updated with an open floor plan to bring your family together. The spacious living room has plenty of cozy seating for large families to spread out and catch a favorite TV show, or engage in a little board game competition. Do not worry about missing your shows while getting a snack or a meal from the kitchen...go sit around the built in island and and watch the 20" under cabinet mounted tv. The island is a great gathering place for family meals or you may prefer a more formal meal in the dining room.

When your family is ready to settle in for the night you will find the upstairs calling your names. The master bedroom has full lake views and a great large balcony. The indoor sitting area beside the gas log fire place is a nice place to unwind before crawling into the king size bed. The master bedroom has two bathrooms...a his and hers for those that like to get ready in their own space (a shower in each). The other two bedrooms upstairs share a “Jack and Jill” bathroom between. This bathroom has plenty of vanity space for getting ready and a regular size bathtub/shower. Bedroom #2 also allows wake up views of the lake from the comfort of the queen size bed. While bedroom #3 doesn't look directly at the water, it is a great room for those that like to sleep a little later...affording a little more privacy and less distraction from the views. This bedroom is a great place for those traveling with kids…built-in twin XL bunk beds and a queen size bed creates a comfortable room for slumber. Ceiling fans, tv's, and cozy bedding are located in all three of the bedrooms.

Want to bring your family dog? No problem! This home is dog friendly and there is even a fenced in area of yard for outdoor play. If Rover or the kids need to be hosed down before coming into the house...no worries! The outdoor enclosed shower is a great place to clean them off - or for you to sneak in a relaxing shower in the outdoors! There is also a bathroom/shower on the main level of the home.

Perfect in every way

Wish I could rate this 10 stars! The property manager was wonderful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. The house was perfect, and oh so clean. Grandkids loved playing in the garage when they weren't out playing in the spacious yard or on our boat. I always wanted his and her bathrooms and two dishwashers, and I got both! It was such a pleasure rocking in the rocking chairs while enjoying the beautiful view. We all had a great stay.

Wonderful Family Lake Weekend

My husband and I treated our daughters, sons-in-law and first grandchild to a family weekend at the lake. The house is beautiful and clean and well-appointed. There were plenty of kayaks and games to play outside and Crissy and Scott are wonderful and thoughtful hosts! Be prepared for the bugs - that’s just part of lake life so bring some repellent. Our only problem was with the size of the beds but both of my sons-in-law are over 6’4”. And we knew going in that there was only 1 king size bed. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this spot. We’ll be back!!

PERFECT for Davidson College Graduation weekend

Beautiful house; incredible location. My family stayed over the weekend so we could attend graduation at Davidson College. It was the perfect spot. Relaxing location on Lake Norman; a short drive - 20-25 minutes over to Davidson. Everyone was able to be together. So much better than getting a bunch of hotel rooms. Thanks so much!

Location! Location! Beautiful Views

Lovely house and property, our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lake views are amazing and the property was very clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed, just perfect. Nice neighborhood for walking or biking. Hosts are awesome, we had no issues whatsoever.

The pictures are exactly as described but definitely don't do it justice. Communication with Chrissy was excelkent. The fenced in dog yard that could be obtained from the garage was a bonus. The morning and evening views of the sunrise and sunset were glorious. Was a bit too chilly for the adults to be out on the water but didnt stop the teen from paddling around in the provided kayaks and paddle boards. Loved the firepit on our last evening which was the coldest of our nights. We needed a getaway badly and this exceeded expectations. Will definitely be back.

Perfect View

We loved our stay! The view is absolutely amazing! The house was clean, stocked incredibly well, and we enjoyed the extra welcoming gifts. The neighborhood was safe and very dog friendly. We especially loved the fenced in portion of the yard to allow our pups a little off leash play time. Great location to local amenities and a short drive to Charlotte.

Family get away

The view from the home is beautiful! Walk in and you see water, for me that is peace and joy. Kitchen, whatever I needed, was there. There were snacks there when we arrived. Wonderful neighborhood to walk. Crissy responded quickly with any questions. She is kind and ready to help. 5/5 overall and hope to be back!

Amazing host and awesome location. We stayed over Christmas and the house was beautifully decorated with some type of decoration in every room, table, and bathroom. House was spotless and roomy. Very comfortable and sunny views of the lake, including sunrise and sunset. Will be back!

Relaxing by the Lake

When I arrived to the property I immediately knew I was going to really enjoy my stay there. The views of the lake are just as beautiful as the house. We started out enjoying a fire by the lake the first evening and the next day we played corn hole and relaxed out by the lake. Of course we cooked great food and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had the opportunity to see the sail boats race right in front of the property Saturday and Sunday. The water was also perfect for taking out the kayaks. The grill was nice and clean and there was firewood already out for a fire. The house had enough space for everyone to be together and apart doing their own activities. I look forward to returning again next year! You won’t be disappointed choosing this property!! The owners are really friendly and are easy to communicate with.

So close to Trump National Golf Course

Excellent Choice

If you are seeking a place to unplug and spend quality time with your family, look no further. The home is located in an ideal spot. It offers privacy yet only a few minutes to restaurants and golf. Great place to spend all day on the private pier, kayak, SUP, and lake side fire pit. The home itself while a bit older, comes well appointed and super clean. Lots of covered decking first and second floor with stunning views of sunrise. Fenced in lot for doggies. Our host Chrissy was so accommodating and thoughtful. No detail was missed with excellent communication. We hope to return in the future and highly recommend this property.

Awesome Rental Home

We are so happy we chose this vacation rental. If there are better views or a better place to spend a vacation on the lake I would love to see it. The house was great. clean and well layed out for all of us. Crissy was amazing and very easy to get a hold of and very helpful with questions. Early check in and late check in were made available to us and everything was great. Would rebook in a heartbeat

Wonderful Lake House

Heaven on the lake

We had a wonderful week long family vacation at this home. We had beautiful weather, the house was immaculate, and Crystal and her husband responded immediately to our needs when asked! Total relaxation

This place is by far the best lake house I have had the pleasure of staying at. The house is on a point so the lake views are amazing. There were so many amenities. There is a boat slip, pier, fire pit, wonderful fenced in area for my dog, and so much more. The host was amazing, the rental process was efficient. My only regret is that I was unable to stay as long as I had hoped. Next time I will be sure to set aside more time to enjoy this awesome place.

What a beautiful property

My family enjoyed our stay so much! The weather was a bit uncooperative but we had so much to do inside this lovely home on the cold rainy days. The beds were comfortable and anything we needed was available to us! This is a great house with a wonderful yard and gorgeous views! We loved kayaking and fishing from the dock! The owners were great to work with!

Absolutely perfect

I have stayed at a lot of properties and can't express how amazing this one was. It is stocked with absolutely EVERYTHING you could imagine. The home is exactly as pictured and more. High end items in the home. Host was so easy to work with. The views are absolutely perfect. The master bedroom is to die for. If it weren't illegal I would have squatted there forever. Absolutely loved this place and will book again.

About the host

Hosted by Scott and Crissy Williams

Scott was born and raised in Mooresville, and although I’m originally from up north I’ve lived here most of my life. We are blessed to call North Carolina home and I can’t imagine living anywhere else!

Why they chose this property

My husbands family owned the land before the lake was built! His ancestors lost some of the land during the depression, and more was lost to the lake…however his parents and their siblings were fortunate enough to end up with lake front property in the process. After his parents passed away, Scott and I purchased the home from their estate and enjoyed the lake life until we made the move back to our farm. We helped our daughters endeavor on the career of their dreams, boarding and training dogs…and it’s been all hands on deck ever since!

What makes this property unique

There are so many things that make our home a great place to vacation! We have THE BEST views on the lake for starters…a nice flat property with plenty of shade…there’s almost always a nice breeze coming off the lake…and I can’t fail to mention that we also have the best neighbors that you’ll ever find!
