Between the village of La Bussière and the town of Gien, one hour 30 from Paris, between Sologne and Gâtinais, La Caillardière welcomes you. On this 80 hectare property are the buildings of an old farm and two independent houses: the house of the Sequoias, garden and park (7 people) and the houses of the pond (11 people) located opposite the large pond . You will appreciate the calm of the places, the walks in forest, the fishing parties in the large pond. It is the ideal place to meet family or friends, discover the vineyards of Sancerre in 50 mn or the castles of the Loire (Gien, Sully sur Loire).
The property can be privatized for 18 people or rented houses separately.

Heart of Nature

We really enjoyed the location, very close to Gien centre but so peaceful for the five of us. Philippe was on hand when needed (thank you) and the pool and surrounding grounds kept us busy whilst we stayed on site. A really good holiday

Beautiful place

We loved our short stay in Gien. The house was great, the surrounding gardens are well kept and the kids had a great time exploring. The pool is perfect and clean. It is beautifully peaceful. We would definitely recommend this charming gite. My only very small feedback would be that the kitchen was lacking some vital cooking equipment, including chopping board, peeler, cheese grater.. However these were provided when requested. Thanks again for a delightful stay!

Le Bonheur !

Nous avions besoin de nous échapper de la région parisienne et ce séjour fut parfait. Mme Rossi et son mari, les gardiens sont très accueillants et d'une gentillesse rare, le domaine est magnifique et permet de se balader, de voir de nombreux animaux. Nous espérons tous pouvoir y revenir un jour !

Great place to get away from it all

Communication with Alix was efficient and effective and having Olivier on site was brilliant. Helpful, always happy for banter and full of useful information, he helped to make our stay relaxed and comfortable. Loved the walks in the woods and the lakes were enjoyed by the men in the party plus the patio area was gorgeous. We were secluded from the gite next door, it felt private and not at all crowded. The gite is a good base for local wine tasting as well as going to Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé. Comfortable and generally well equipped, it was brilliang for 2 couples as each bedroom could have its own bathroom. Plenty of space for relaxing, it was just what we needed for a chilled holiday. We will be back!

Séjour de luxe !

Très grande maison; très propre et grande gentillesse et diligence du gardien. La piscine a parfaitement rempli nos attentes et celles des enfants, surtout lors des grosses chaleurs de la mi-aout. Mention spéciale pour les poules, dont les enfants ont pu s'occuper. Beaucoup de choses à découvrir dans la région et la situation de la propriété est très agréable pour cela. Nous recommandons !

La semaine passe trop vite...

Nous sommes partagés entre l’envie de recommander cette adresse et l’envie de la garder pour nous… ;-) Plus sérieusement, nous avons passé un moment très agréable. Toute la famille était parfaitement à l’aise, dans un environnement très confortable. On pourrait critiquer un léger manque d’accès internet, mais certains trouveront que cette quasi déconnexion est un atout… Tout y est, la demeure, la piscine à proximité, la propriété permettant de grande balade à pied ou en vélo, sans oublier les très nombreuses activités dans la région. C’est très tranquille et pourtant très facile d’accès. Enfin l’accueil est très bien, Olivier et sa Dame sont très disponible et sympathique tout en étant discret ; parfait. une adresse à retenir

quel magnifique endroit, au calme, dans la nature. L'accueil et la disponibilité d'Olivier et de sa femme ont rendus notre séjour des plus agréables. Propriété très bien entretenue, il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans la maison (peut être décrire plus précisément les accessoires de cuisine lors de l'annonce). La nature nous entoure et les enfants ont pu voir hérissons, grenouilles, perdrix, en toute liberté. on y reviendra à coup sûr.

Superbe week-end prolongé au vert entre amis

Nous avons loué la maison pour profiter d'un week-end entre amis. Nous avons été reçu par le gardien qui est aux petits soins et nous avons découvert la superbe propriété, bien plus jolie que sur les photos de l'annonce. La maison est très confortable. Petit +: le terrain de pétanque privatif! Pour ceux que les moustiques adorent, pensez à prendre un répulsif!

Une belle adresse pour du repos au vert !

Séjour ressourçant au milieu de la nature dans un très beau domaine ! Olivier le gardien est d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité rares. Le site est magnifiquement bien entretenu. La maison Sequioa est jolie et confortable, enfin les enfants s’en sont donnés à cœur joie dans la piscine chauffée. Belle adresse à retenir !

Sehr schönes Haus...

...für einen traumhaften und erholsamen Urlaub. Wir haben 13 Tage in diesem traumhaft gelegenen Haus gewohnt und uns ab der ersten Sekunde wohlgefühlt. Es fehlt an nichts, es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Lage des Hauses ist einfach perfekt. Es ist ein sehr grosses, gepflegtes Anwesen mit einem grossen, gepflegten Pool. Unser Hund fühlte sich sauwohl und hat die kleinen Bäder im nahegelegenen See genossen. Die Ausflüge nach Bourges (1,5 Stunden), Orleans (1Stunde) und Paris (1,5 Stunden mit dem Zug) haben uns sehr gefallen. Alles in allem ein tolles Haus für Familien, auch mit kleinen Kindern, da Babybett und Hochstuhl vor Ort sind. Danke an Olivier der stets vor Ort war und bei Fragen immer zur Verfügung stand.

The property is beautifully situated, clean and welcoming. We had some difficulties checking in/out due to the fact that we didn’t speak French terribly well, but in the grand scheme of things, it did not spoil our stay. The property is lovely and perfect for a relaxing break.

Des vacances de rêve

Une maison sur un domaine exceptionel un accueil remarquable. Des vacances de rêve en famille ou la piscine chauffée a été appréciée de ma petite fille. Nos voisins anglais avec lesquels nous avons sympathisé, les deux gites étant tellement bien conçus que nous avions l'impression d'être seul sur le domaine. Nous y reviendrons très très prochainement.
