About this property

Recently renovated 8-guest historic home in the heart of Sconset village. The Main House has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and 1 half bath. The layout features an open floor plan that is light-filled and fresh with paneled walls. The first floor has the living room, kitchen/ Dining room, mud room/ pantry/ office, Laundry and Powder Room, Master Bedroom (with queen bed) and attached Master Bath. The second floor has 2 bedrooms- the front bedroom has a full sized bed and trundle, the rear bedroom has built-in twin beds and trundles. The upper level also has a full bathroom with walk-in shower.
There is a separate detached Cottage that was newly constructed in 2015. The Cottage offers a queen sized bed, a full Bath with tub/ shower, a kitchenette and sitting area.
Both the Main House and the Cottage have sunny decks for lounging and there is an expansive stone patio that connects the two buildings. The patio is sunny and has seating for 12.
There is also an outdoor shower, bbq, hammock and outdoor storage shed for fishing rods, boogie boards, etc.
There is plenty of parking on both the front and rear streets and the home also comes with bikes for your use.
It is a very short walk to the beach, the Sconset market, restaurants, and to the shuttle stop
The property is wonderful for people who want to be in the heart of the village but want to have some privacy and elbow room.

Best vacation ever!

We had an amazing time in this beautiful cottage! Whitney was so responsive and the amenities were outstanding! Walking distance to everything you need and beautiful bluff walk and beach!

Beautiful house tastefully done

We loved our vacation in Sconset. Whitney has renovated this house to perfection. Everything is first class and the kitchen has everything you could need. There is a lot of room between the two houses and plenty of patio to enjoy. The town of Sconset is cute as can be and the beach is wonderful too. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect home in Sconset

The property was lovely. It was clean and well designed and had the space to fit 5 adults and 3 kids with room leftover. The cottage has a little loft which was a perfect spot for our 10 year old daughter to host a sleepover with friend. The location could not be much better. We hope to return next summer.

A place to create memories

This is a spot we love coming back to every year! Away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but still everything you need at the local market, liquor store and restaurant. We always have an an incredible time at Whitney’s beautiful home. The cottage is a great place to have friends come stay for a night or two in their own private space. Another magical trip made possible by a wonderful owner who communicates in a timely manner. Wonderful.

Awesome

Got off to a rough start. Property wasn’t ready when we checked in. After a brief freak out we were able to get everything squared away. Stuff happens and not everything is as perfect as you want it. However, it’s more important to me how things get rectified. In this case the house was turned quickly and we were able to get into a sconset state of mind. This place is great..

Great stay!!

We had a great stay at Whitney’s house! She was very quick to respond and we had everything we needed for our stay. The house was perfectly located for us as it was a close walk to playground and beach but if you don’t have kids and want to walk around town it is about a 15 min drive so you will need a car. The house is so cute and the beds are comfy and linens are great ( yes I’m a linen snob!) :) we brought our nanny with us and having a cottage was a huge plus! It gave her the opportunity to have some time to herself and us some space as a family! I would highly recommend this rental. Whitney call me any time if you want to discuss your new biz plan :) thanks again for a great stay!

Beautiful Home!

What a beautiful home! My girlfriends and I loved our stay here. The house sleeps 10 comfortably, the patio is amazing, and just a short walk to the beach. We couldn't say enough nice things about our stay :) Highly recommend this property to all.

Amazing Accommodation for a larger group

I can't rave about this house enough. The pictures are amazing but they don't do this place justice! Every room is immaculate and perfectly decorated. The check-in and check-out was simple and easy. They even have printed papers inside on the kitchen table that have additional details about the house. We had a group of about 10 and there was plenty of room plus much more for an additional 2-4. There was more than enough bathroom space and the perfect patio out back to sit in the sun. They have Sonos speakers throughout the house and on the back patio. Everything you need is there! All we did was bring food and drink and we felt so at home. It's a super short walk to the beach and the local neighborhood market. It's on the other side of the island so if you do decide to stay over this way I would just suggest renting a car. However, you can easily get an Uber or a cab! So happy with your stay. Thank you, Whitney!

Great Long Weekend on Nantucket

Perfection!

My sisters and I treated our parents to a week on Nantucket to celebrate their 50th Anniversary and this house did not disappoint! There was the perfect amount of space for all of us and every inch of it has been updated to make it feel like a luxurious vacation. We’ve rented many other homes in Sconset and this was far and away the best. It’s still so close to the heart of the village with ample elbow room for parking and outdoor play. Thank you Whitney for sharing your beautiful home with our family, we had an amazing time!

Lovely vacation destination

This lovely residence is exactly as described and offers every imaginable convenience. The home looks as bright and fresh as if it were brand new, but still has the wonderful historic ambiance. The grandchildren loved the upstairs bedroom with the built in beds and trundles, and appreciated the selection of board games. The generous sized dining table accomodated our entire family with ease. Easily walkable to local market, cafe, beach and bus stop. The Wave buses are super convenient and a great way to travel into the town of Nantucket. You will not be disappointed if you choose this property as your travel destination.

Sconset escape

We had a three night stay at this adorable, well furnished and well equipped Sconset cottage. The outside space is great and the detached cottage is charming! My husband and I stayed in the cottage and our three kids stayed in the main house (adult kids and spouses) there was room for everyone! The location is fabulous! If you stay here make sure you do the foot path walk every morning then come home and have your breakfast on the patio....such a treat! The owners always answered my calls and email efficiently. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Great, updated house, right in the heart of Sconset!

We had a wonderful stay here in early June! The house is very well appointed and has great open spaces with lots of seating for a group. The beds are comfortable and the showers are fantastic. I really can't recommend this house highly enough. Whitney was a wonderful host -- very responsive and left detailed instructions for our arrival and departure. I hope to go back again soon!

Absolutely beautiful house and yard.

I would highly recommend this house for anyone wanting to get away in Nantucket. The house is beautiful and just a short walk to the beach. Whitney was very helpful at all stages of the rental process. We had a great girls weekend away and had some definite rest and recovery.

You will love it.

First of all, Whitney was a pleasure to work with. She had no problem staying in touch over the phone, and was quick to respond about anything. She was genuinely kind and accommodating. Second, the house is beautiful, clean, and charming. Young's bicycles was able to deliver bikes to the house for us, and biking around 'Sconset was a blast. Sankaty lighthouse is only a mile or two up the road, which was a great sunset bike ride. You can hear the ocean / waves from the house, and it's barely two blocks to the heart of 'Sconset, which is indescribably timeless and beautiful. The patio between the house and cottage was a perfect gathering area, with a big table and Sonos speakers for music (also throughout the house). The whole trip really exceeded our expectations. We would love to return.

Excellent!

We had a wonderful stay at Whitney's cottage! It was a great fit for our group - families in the main house, and a couple with no children in the back cottage. Whitney had everything we could have needed, lots of cooking items, board games and puzzles, etc. The amenities were great - it was a nice change of pace for our group to stay in such an updated cottage with washer/dryer, updated furniture and décor, and newly renovated bathrooms! Thanks for having us Whitney, we hope to return again soon! And in the meantime, the women of our trip want to hire you to do interior decorating for our homes!
