Paradise

The outdoor space and location of this villa is perfect. Off the veranda which is private you walk down a few steps you have the pool bar as well a large pool area that has ample space for guest. A few more steps a beautiful beach with the bluest water you can imagine.The restaurant Waves was excellent for dinner at night and the service was spot on.Jean and her team were easy to communicate with and we appreciate Chef Michele pre shopping for us, and the transportation team did a great job. Thanks for making our trip perfect. We will be back!

Perfect Stay

This is a great unit. It has the best location in the entire resort. You are 20 steps from the pool and 100 step to the beach (I counted). The unit is well stocked and well maintained. The pictures on VRBO really don't do the view justice. It is really idyllic. The resort itself is very good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurants are solid for an all-inclusive. Michelle (personal chef) is great, and we enjoyed two dinners she made for us, including an incredible Jamaican tasting menu of over 10 dishes. She also stocked the kitchen for us based on a list we provided. When we got there we had everything in the kitchen we needed. The owner also recommended a driver who was provided transportation and was also able to help organize excursions. Her prices were very reasonable and the service excellent. We didn't pay for all-inclusive access, but you can access all the resort amenities ala carte. That said, the resort isn't that big and often we were literal steps from the unit. I can walk 50 ft to get another Red Stripe!

We celebrated my wife and her best friend’s birthday at the private condo located inside the Jewel Grande. Location was great, quick ride from the airport. The condo was exactly as described in the listing. Beautiful oceanfront views from the balcony. Jean was very helpful and quick to respond to our questions.

Lovely stay

The condo was as advertised. Buy liquor from the airport! The host, chef and driver were all lovely! I highly recommend staying here. Great location. Great property, nice clean condo 10 out of 10. I have 0 complaints

Beautiful property

The property was in a gorgeous location. Property manager was responsive when we needed toilet paper and paper towels. We did have an issue with the kitchen sink draining properly, but they were swift to send people a couple of times. The beach view is gorgeous. The side of the resort that the property is on is the more quiet side. Over looking a pool and the gorgeous beach with the water sports nearby. I was able to make most of our meals with the well equipped kitchen.

The Absolute Best

I'm going to break up this review into a few different parts, the rental property, the Jewel Grande hotel and a few of the things I learned during my travel to Jamaica The Rental Property This property is FANTASTIC. It's everything you ever wanted in a vacation stay. This property is on the first floor of one of the three main buildings. The living area has the living room, kitchen, eating area and a full bath with a great shower. The master bedroom is spacious, sliding window doors overlooking the Caribbean Sea and a huge bathroom. The other bedroom is also big with a view of the resort and a nice bathroom and shower. Every room has a nice TV with cable TV, and has plenty of room to play on rainy days. The deck is massive and spans the length of the property. It's accessible via a door in the kitchen, sliding window doors in the living room and from the master bedroom. The view from the deck is beautiful, and it has all the necessary furniture to support daylong sun worshiping, a romantic or party-filled evening or enjoying a tropical storm while remaining dry due to the design. The deck also has a set of stairs that leads directly to one of two main pools, hot tub, outdoor bar and the ocean. It's all right at the bottom of the stair. The property owners are fantastic and provide as much information as you need to feel comfortable.

Great communication and a great stay

This unit was perfect for us. My husband and I travel with my Mom who’s in her 80s. Having 2 king suites was ideal. We loved the spacious balcony where we could sum if desired or sit in the shade. It was just steps from the pool & beach. This unit is also on a quieter side. No late night shows or bars. The host answered all my pre-booking questions and checked in on us to make sure we had all that we needed.

This property was perfect is was so nice when we walked in and seen the lay out. Highly recommend this suite, location was great right in the middle of everything and easy to access. The pool was right beside us but was till very quite. Owner so very accommodating will for sure be contacting them when we go back to Jamaica.

Nice Family GetAway

Our family of four really enjoyed this apartment with its ocean views and easy private access to the resort. We rented a car and went out to eat mostly or cooked. The market is nearby. The resort food is ok but it’s more fun to get out and explore. The owner and property manager were easy to communicate with and had great recommendations. I do wish the swimming was better but my son and I went scuba diving a couple of days so we did get out there.

Prime spot!

The location of this gorgeous property was ideal. The patio overlooking the beach and pool was a great way to enjoy the action but also private. Great advice from the owner and the property manager responded within seconds of any question submitted on the app. The restaurants at the resort were not the best but transportation was easy to get to outstanding local restaurants for authentic Jamaican food. Amazing experience!

AMAZING!

We absolutely loved our stay! The property was even more beautiful than the pictures and had amazing views from the balcony. Ms. Jean checked in with us multiple times to make sure that our stay was perfect and that we had everything we needed. She recommended Chef Michele who cooked for us one evening- be warned that after you eat her cooking- nothing else will taste as good. Her food was hands down the best we had anywhere on the island. We opted out of the all-inclusive but having resort amenities made this property the perfect stay. We loved every minute of our trip and would go back to this property in a heart beat.

Wonderful Stay

The property is beautiful and beautifully kept as is the condo. The condo is very spacious and in the perfect location. Steps from the pools and the ocean. Judy, the owner’s manager is an absolute sweetheart. She had done so much for us, from doing some grocery shopping ahead of our visit to making excursion and dining reservations. We ate at a few of the restaurants on site and found the food to be below average at best. I would suggest dinner out. We ate at Margaritaville, Pier 1, Houseboat, KFC (amazing, trust me!!) and a few others. We all loved the pools, the condo and the gorgeous sunsets. The one drawback besides the dining options was the ocean. I was expecting clear water and sand, what we had was more of a murky, shallow water with a seaweed bottom. The further you go out the clearer the water becomes but you’re not allowed to swim that far out. I would encourage the Jewel Grande to allow people the option to swim past the cove rocks. Out there is the clear water and good snorkeling. I give the condo and property 5/5 and the beach/ocean 2/5. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and Judy played a big part.

Beautiful Condo w/breathtaking views

The listing is as advertised and everything about this property is wonderful. The balcony and views is probably the best part but everything about the condo was 5 stars. Our family of four was so comfortable and had plenty of room. The owners were so accommodating and helped with airport transfers and restaurant recommendations. We had a magical time in Jamaica and would recommend this condo to any one.

We have so many things we can say about the resort and our stay. Where to start? The people were super friendly. The description is completely accurate. The view is breathtaking and you are literally steps away from the pool and beach access. The two bedroom was more than enough space for us 3. Fantastic condo with a spectacular view

This luxury 2-bedroom 3-full bath condo with a gorgeous view is nestled inside of a 4-star all-inclusive resort. You can choose to go the all-inclusive route or opt out and enjoy the many local Jamaican restaurants within 25 minutes either direction. There are many adventurous 1/2-day and all-day excursions that will pick you up/drop off at the resort. Ocho Rios is about a 2-hour drive east and Negril is about a 2-hour drive west, with both offering beautiful beaches, natural wonders and many adventures. The Host is very responsive, and responded quickly to my every question. I highly recommend this property !!

It would take me days to talk about all the fun and how great the resort, island and the Jamicans were. Our resort was First Class and our unit had to be the best, 10 steps from balcony to the bar and another 5 and your in the pool. Beach maybe 30 seconds with outstanding views. Our unit was awesome and cant wait to go back. We love MoBay - Yes Mon.

This unit is owned buy a couple - he is Jamaican, she is an American. They met on a tennis court in Jamaica back in the 70's while he was living in Montego Bay, and she was vacationing with her sisters.

They had a chance meeting in New York in 1992. He was then working with the Jamaica Tourist Board in NY and she was in advertising. They were married 2 years later.

Now both retired, they spend their time between their homes in Jamaica and the Hamptons.
