Hello and welcome to our nook! It is with pleasure that we open the door and allow you a unique experience, in total contact with nature, where only the sounds of the streams and the birds reign.
It is a private property, 100m from the River Neiva, and about 2km from the beautiful beach of Castelo do Neiva. It is located 11 km from the town of Viana do Castelo. Although it is a quiet and quiet place, it is a few meters from supermarkets, pharmacy, bank, restaurants, etc.

Best Place to stay!

It was one of the best houses, I have ever stayed. Super sweet, beautiful and even better than on the pictures. I will definitely come back next year, at least for a week

Magnifique!!!

Très belle maison avec un magnifique jardin et une très belle grande terrasse. C’est un vrai petit cocon, à proximité de Viana de Castelo, Ponta da lima et du gères où nous avons pu faire des randonnées et nous baigner dans des rivières et cascades. Merci à Ana pour sa disponibilité et sa gentille.

The Perfect Holiday Location

We enjoyed our stay in this magnificent little house thoroughly. Everything you need is there and especially the Pool and the beautiful garden make it perfect. Ana is a perfect host - friendly and always quick to answer any question you might have.

Lovely house

We had a fantastic time staying at this house - so clean and cosy. Our children (8 and 11) enjoyed the pool and playing on the lawn. The surroundings are beautiful and we enjoyed our walks to the river and the beach. We hope to be back some day!

Perfect hideaway

This is a fabulous home - so cosy and welcoming. Very well equipped, quiet and peaceful. The pool is heated and a really good size my kids loved it. Fruit trees all round the garden - it’s so lush and lovely. A 5 minute walk to the river bridge, a half hour walk to Praia de Antas where there are miles of golden sand. Would highly recommend - though would rather keep this a secret to ourselves. :)

Awesome, unique Swedish style Stuga/cottage with a excellent private garden

Certainly a first for portugal, a country that skimps on comfort, most 5 star hotels do not have a heated swimming pool, but Casa do Monte does - KUDOS! Casa do monte is definitely a place to comeback to many times over, the location is extremely beautiful with perfect beaches (brrr cold water beaches). KUDOS to the hosts and their ability to offer and deliver a product that is unique in portugal.

Paradise in “Casa do Monte”

Para os amantes da natureza, que prestigiam a paz, a beleza natural, o encanto de acordar ao som dos pássaros e sentir o doce nascer do sol, aqui estão no céu. Uma propriedade com tudo o que necessitamos para descontrair, super bem equipada e muito confortável. Uma piscina fabulosa, tudo muito bem cuidado e rodeado de detalhes, como a cascata, as árvores de fruto onde colhemos limões frescos e ameixas e até uma fonte numa pedra secular. Não foi bom, foi fabuloso. Obrigada por partilharem connosco este vosso lar, onde o amor nos rodeia e faz sentir parte deste vosso bosque encantado 🥰🌈❤️. Daniela, Paulo e Matilde.

Une magnifique petite maison au milieu d'un écrin de verdure

Une petite propriété parfaitement équipée avec un grand jardin superbement arboré et une piscine privative. Endroit très calme et un peu retiré au coeur de la nature. Des hôtes aux petits soins pour rendre notre séjour très agréable.
