About this property

A delightful view from a river farm

This 1,500 SF recently renovated apartment is a lower level walk-out apartment with lots of natural light and amazing views. The apartment is located in our large farm house, which is on 24 acres viewing the Clark Fork River. The property is home to an operating farm and organic vegetable garden. You may also see, elk, deer, eagles, and lots of birds that roam and fly onto the property.

Located on a bench above the Clark Fork river, you will have spectacular views of the valley and the west flowing river. A convenient swimming and fishing access for the river is located a short 1.5 miles down the road. Guests have their own patio, for relaxation and views! There are lots of great hiking trails, and great boating opportunities nearby.

This home away from home consists of two large bedrooms, each with queen size beds, and 1 large bathroom. A double size air mattress is available to accommodate additional guests. The large living room includes a gas fireplace and kids games. The kitchen is new with tons of cabinetry and room for cooking.

This property is an easy all year round, 25 minute drive west of Missoula on Interstate 90.

The property is 25 minutes from a big city & is set on the river with gorgeous views and nature all around. The property was very clean & up to date & had anything you needed. It was an incredible stay and we highly recommend it!!

Relaxing location with a view!
What a fantastic place! Easy access from I-90. The owners are great, check-in was a breeze. Great local restaurant just a few minutes away. I can't forget to mention their Lab, Lewis, as he is a very good boy! I'll definitely be back!!

My family of 5 were in Missoula for a football game and this space was perfect. From room for kids to play football outside to deer in the yard in the evening. Everything was perfect.

Gorgeous setting!
My husband and I were attending a wedding at White Raven Resort (5 miles away). This location was perfect! We were able to go into Missoula during the day, hike nearby and we had a short ride home after the wedding events. This property is gorgeous! We enjoyed coffee each morning on the porch with the view of the river and mountains.

The home was beautiful & so comfortable. My family truly enjoyed our stay. The view is unbeatable & there were wild turkeys that visited the yard every morning while we drank our coffee in front of the fireplace. The home was WAY bigger than we expected from the pictures, our daughter loved running around. Everything we needed was available for cooking, hair dryer etc & the hosts daughter even brought my baby toys to play with. The hosts went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable & lovely. Highly recommend!

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Well worth being outside of Missoula. The hosts were fantastic and we loved getting visits from Louis their black lab, cats, and chickens. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit the area!

Heaven on Earth!
Everything about this property is just perfect! From the gorgeous setting and view to the spacious, and beautifully appointed rooms! Thick fluffy towels, comfortable beds, a gas fireplace for chilly evenings, a gas grill and yard games for guests are just a few of the wonderful “extras” The hosts Molly and Michael are warm, friendly and helpful! So easy to work with, and resident Black Lab Louis makes a perfect ambassador and greeter! We didn’t want to leave! This property was absolutely amazing. Michael and Molly are wonderful hosts. Our daughter had her wedding nearby so this was a great place to gather and to meet up with others. We had the entire level yo ourselves and the view from our private patio was priceless. We saw deer, wild turkeys, and bald eagles. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a nice and relaxing stay in montana.

Quiet and peaceful stay
Our family really enjoyed our experience on the farm: the deer, the stars, the chickens and especially Louis the dog! Michael and Molly were beyond gracious, extremely attentive and very kind. We can’t recommend this property enough, close to the river, hiking and a short drive to Missoula.

Just book the property, it's fantastic.
Hard to give this property the sort of review it truly deserves. Not only because the location is spectacular close enough to Missoula for activities yet far enough away from the city. The owners are spectacular and everything with it. The place is clean, it has everything you need. Michael and Molly are super hospitable to any need that you might have. We enjoyed our stay in Alberton. Molly and Michael are very helpful and the home is clean and comfortable. It is very pleasant to sit on the patio and look at the gorgeous river and mountains. Wonderful place
This is a great place to stay with wonderful hosts. Lovely location overlooking the river and fabulous night skies for stargazing. All the amenities are supplied to ensure a comfortable stay. We typically spend about a week here as our son and his family live right down the road and we live on the east coast. We are thankful Mike and Molly have made their home space available.

We are both very active in the outdoors with a passion for river activities including whitewater rafting and camping. We include our gentle black lab in all activities. Michael is a farmer with a passion for local, sustainable food. Molly is a professional engineer and is also active in the community. We got married in the summer of 2015 and are now excited to establish a farm in the heart of Montana's beauty.

After years of searching for land that met our needs for a farm and provided access to Montana's recreational features, we were delighted to find our property. We are literally amazed at the views and the unique sunsets over the river. Elk, eagles and birds of all varieties frequent our home. We are thrilled to share our home with you.
