Villa Elena is an ancient Sicilian house, just renovated, surrounded by the greenery of an orange and lemon garden, inside the "La Timpa" oriented nature reserve and a stone's throw from a splendid sea.
It is divided into two independent apartments, but communicating either from the inside or from the terrace. Its large and equipped terrace overlooking the sea will give you sunsets that you will not forget and where it will be pleasant to find refreshment and savor the slow rhythms of a relaxing stay by the sea.
The house consists of two apartments that can remain independent or can also be communicated from the inside through a door. Apartment 1 consists of a large living room furnished in poor art style, with a kitchenette complete with all appliances, table with chairs, satellite TV and large and comfortable sofa bed. bathroom with shower box; bedroom with double bed and air conditioning.
The apartment 2 developed on two levels consists of a kitchen with a table and chairs and all the appliances and various utensils, with a sitting area and satellite TV, a bathroom with a large shower cubicle, a bedroom on the ground floor with single or combined beds. a double, upstairs bedroom with single beds or joined into a double and private terrace with armchairs and umbrella, from which you can enjoy a 360 degree view of the Timpa and the sea.
On the ground floor, in common, there is a huge terrace equipped with umbrellas, tables and chairs, deck chairs, barbecue, washing machine, external kitchenette.
Guests have access to the whole house, to the terraces, to the upper and lower entrance avenue to go to the sea. Access to the garden, closed with gates, is not allowed for security reasons.
Santa Maria la Scala is a small fishing village, which is located five minutes from Acireale accessible by car, by bus or on foot from the ancient eighteenth-century road "le chiazzette". It is a very quiet and not very touristy village, with a small marina, there are good restaurants with fish specialties and pizzerias, shop at 50 m with the indispensable, picturesque bar where you can enjoy the typical Sicilian granita breakfast. The house has a private descent to reach the sea in five minutes on foot. By car you can reach the most beautiful attractions and places of eastern Sicily. In a short time you can reach Etna, the highest volcano in Europe (30 km), the fascinating Taormina (40 km), the mysterious Catania (16 km).
