Bahia Delfin has rules and regulations to protect our environment and make it safe and enjoyable for all the owners, guest and renters. We have implemented fines for major rule infractions.
REGISTRATION, CHECKIN AND CHECK OUT:
Upon arriving at Bahia Delfin you will be greeted by a security guard (24 hours) who will request your name, unit number, vehicle license, and any guest information. The guard will place a sticker on your windshield. The guard will direct you to your condo if needed. All Renters, Guests and Visitors must register with the front gate guard or the front office desk upon arrival at Bahia Delfin at office hours.
Check-in time for renters and guests is 4:00 PM and check out is 11:00 AM.
OCCUPANCY STANDARDS:
Owners and/or their guests will be subject to the following occupancy standards or their entrance/stay will be denied. 2 – bedrooms: 6 people, including infants of all ages
3 – bedrooms: 8 people, including infants of all ages
4 – bedrooms: 10 people, including infants of all ages No additional occupants will be permitted
Fine: Bahia Delfin will assess the Owner a fine of $1,800 pesos per night per exceded person and will evict all occupants if the above occupancy standards are exceeded.
QUIET TIME:
No loud music, noise or talking will be observed from 10:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. Excessive noise or behaving in a manner which disturbs others or affects their safety, health or comfort will be considered disturbing the peace. Violations after hours should be reported to night security. Noise, loud sounds, public drunkenness and disturbing the peace on the beach in front of Bahia Delfin will result in a call by Bahia Delfin security Guards to the city of Guaymas and San Carlos police to deal with the problem. The laws in Guaymas for misconducts in public places, state that the judge can impose certain fines or arrest and jail.
Fine: Bahia Delfin will assess a $1,800.00 MXN fine for Disturbing the Peace, Excessive noise, and violation of curfew hours. Renters and guests will be required to leave the property.
GARBAGE / BASURA: All domestic garbage must be bagged and taken to the designated garbage/basura collection points which are located along the front near the bodega storage units. Do not place domestic garbage in trash cans located at the beach and parking lot. All aluminum cans and returnable/deposit bottles are recyclable and should be in a separate bag and placed in the garbage/basura receptacle
Fine: Bahia Delfin will assess the customer a $450.00 MXN fine for improper disposal of garbage, any trash left behind inside or outside the condo, BBQ ashes, cigarette butts or other trash on Bahia delfin property or if food/water containers left outside overnight.
VISITORS:
Currently registered Owners, Renters and Guests will be allowed to receive visitors and they should adhere to same rules. You need to notify first that you want to have visitors.
All visitors/renters should wear a wristband during their stay.
Fine: Bahia Delfin will assess the guest a fine of $900 pesos per non-registered visitor and will evict all non-registered visitors.
Fine: Bahia Delfin will assess a $450.00 pesos fine for every renter/guest not using a wristband.
Glassware around pool area
Grilling is not permitted under the palapa. Glassware and glass containers are prohibited at the swimming pool and in the palapa area.
Fine: Bahia Delfin will assess a fine of $1,800 pesos for any glass containers on the concrete deck surrounding the pool or the palapa area. Please use trash containers and remove personal property when leaving the pool/palapa area. Report any unsafe condition or violation to the management immediately!
PARKING LOT AND STORAGE AREA:
There are no assigned parking spaces. It is an open parking lot and each occupied unit is allowed one parking space. This rule will be enforced as occupancy rates dictate. During peak times lighted parking is also available outside the front gate. Vehicles not in compliance with this rule, will be towed away at owners expenses.
DRAINS AND LIQUID DISPOSAL:
Do not pour or flush any prescription medications, food, or feminine hygiene products down drains or toilets. Do not use harsh chemicals (e.g. muriatic acid) in toilets, showers or sink drains. Any of the above can cause damage to Bahia Delfin sewage treatment system, necessitating costly repairs and making reclaimed water, used for landscaping, unavailable.
KAYAK AND WATER EQUIPMENT STORAGE:
Do not store kayaks, paddle boards or other beach or water equipment on the patio, against condo walls or in grassy areas. Instead, kayaks should be stored on the rental rack, inside the condo, or in storage units. Sea-Wall rings are provided for kayak, paddle board, or other beach equipment storage for Owners, Guests and Renters, when in residence at Bahia Delfin. If you attach your equipment to a Sea-Wall ring mark it with your condo number so it is visible to our security guards.
Fine: Bahia Delfin will assess a $450.00 pesos fine for equipment attached to a Sea-Wall ring when the owner is not in residence, and the equipment will be removed.

Occupants must take trash and garbage to the basura upon departure. There are three well marked locations in the parking lot. It is forbidden to leave containers with water and/or food of any kind, including pet food, overnight, to prevent the proliferation of all kinds of wildlife. It is strictly forbidden to feed raccoons and other types of wildlife, which can be harmful and dangerous.

OUTDOOR AND COMMON AREA:
Do not drape towels, clothes or other items over railings, balconies or porches. Exterior decorations must be limited to porch and patio areas only. Do not put personal objects around the buildings or hang them on exterior walls. Tents, shades or camping in grassy areas, or any activities that require driving stakes into the ground, are not permitted. Skating/bicycling on walkways or in corridors is prohibited..
Fine: Bahia Delfin will assess a $450.00 pesos fine if towels, clothes or other items are draped over balconies, porches or allowed to hang from windows, or if food/water containers left outside, overnight.
PETS:
There is a no tolerance leash law in effect. Pets must be on leashes at all times when on Bahia Delfin property. This is a NO TOLERANCE policy and no warnings will be given. Pet waste must be picked up and disposed off in the garbage receptacles. Pets shall not cause excessive noise.
Fine: Bahia Delfin will assess a fine of $900.00 pesos for not adhering to the pet regulations.
SWIMMING POOL AND PALAPA AREA:
The pool is for owners and registered guests only. Appropriate swimwear is required. Pool hours are 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Swim at your own risk, as there are no lifeguards on duty. All children under 14 must be with an adult. For your children's safety, use floatation devices. Please supervise toddlers when wearing swim diapers. Diving, running and “horse play” in the swimming area is strictly prohibited. Pets are not permitted in the pool. Throwing furniture or trash into the pool is prohibited. All guests and visitors should wear a wristband when in residence.
Fine: Bahia Delfin will assess a fine of $1,800 pesos for throwing furniture or trash into the pool. Additionally, the replacement cost of the furniture will be charged to the guest.
Fine: Bahia Delfin will assess a $450.00 pesos fine for every renter/guest not using a wristband.
EMERGENCY/EXTRAORDINARY RULES & FINES
“SPECIAL” RULES
In the event of a situation deemed an emergency by the administrator and the OC, “Special” rules may be imposed in accordance with the State of Sonora/Federal Government policies at that time. These “Special” rules will apply to ALL owners and guests and are meant to maintain health and safety for all owners, guests and staff.
“Special” rules will be communicated by the Administrator to all owners by email as they are implemented and posted at the front gate.
Failure to Comply with Special Rules and Regulations
Fine: Failure to comply with “Special” rules will result in a $5,400
pesos fine per occurrence.
All owners and guests are required to follow instructions given to them by our guards and front desk staff, and expected to treat all staff with respect. Any physical or verbal aggression or abuse of our guards, or other staff, can result in a fine of up to $9,000 pesos, at the discretion of the Administrator and/or the OC.
