This is a comfortable, large two story home, with five bedrooms, two full baths, large kitchen and large yard, with deck and outdoor fireplace. House can sleep up to 12 (with prior approval). Walk to all the great Boyne City restaurants and just two blocks to the beach and marina! 7 minutes to Boyne Mountain for skiing. Two minutes to Avalanche for mountain biking and sledding. This house can accommodate lots of people and lots of gear!

Boyne group ski trip

Great rental for a large group! Very close to downtown and a short ride to the slopes. Would love to come back in the summer!

Cute home in a great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute and inviting home right in Boyne City! My family and I came to town for our annual ski trip and could not have been more pleased. Not only were we close to the slopes, but we also were just down the street from downtown’s shops and restaurants. The home itself had plenty of room, was clean, and provided all the comforts of home. The ping pong table in the basement was a fun surprise! The wonderful property owner was quick to respond to communication. My family agreed that we would stay at this home again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Stay

The house and location were great It was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed. The surrounding area was beautiful and conveniently located near local attractions, making it perfect for our family getaway. Communication with the host was seamless. Our family had such a wonderful experience that we would absolutely book with them again without hesitation! Highly recommend!

Golf trip

If you come to Boyne City this is a must stay! I would rate this home much higher than a 5 if I could. Great communication with owner and this home had everything you would ever need. It also is close to the city for all to enjoy.

Nice 4-BR home for summer stays

We visited in July. The house space was adequate for seven of us: three couples and a child. We used four rooms: a non-air-conditioned bedroom on the first floor (it tended to become too warm on some hot days), and three window-unit air-conditioned bedrooms on the second floor. We were lucky that we didn’t need to use the fifth, non-air-conditioned ‘kids room’ on the second floor (the one with many mattresses on the floor): it was too warm even on cool summer days and felt like a hot sauna on warm days (even with the exhaust roof fan and fresh air intake window fans turned on). Everything in the house worked. The house was clean and well cared for. Plenty of towels; beds were comfortable. We used the Weber gas grill and the outside fireplace. The two beach umbrellas from the shed were very handy as we forgot to bring our own. We were greeted by a gentleman from the next house who watches over this house in the absence of the owners. He graciously gave us the second key to the house, which simplified our party’s travel planning, allowing us to venture in separate cars to different destinations and return at different times. Small suggestions to the host, for the benefit of future guests: 1) fix the door lock in the first floor bathroom, and install door locks in all bedrooms; 2) offer more than one set of keys to the house. Overall, it was a nice stay. We’d come back. Thank you, Heather!

I felt there were a few issues. Sleeping arrangements were not satisfactory the communication emails were a bit rude no A/C no TV or radios not acceptable

Comfy Family Home

My 4 sisters and our children had such a wonderful week at this beautiful home in Boyne City. The house had everything we needed and more. The short walk to the beach and town were an added bonus. It was a bit warm but the fans and a/c units in the upstairs bedrooms definitely helped. And the large front porch and back deck always added some comfort. We hope to return soon!

Annual summer retreat with friends

The rental property was ideal for our groups goals and expectations for a Northern Michigan get away weekend. We are a group of 8 middle aged adults. we desired a home large enough to accommodate our group and located within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and a boat launch. The location was ideal for our expectation and affordable.

Lovely large home

The space was perfect for family time—large living room, dining room, kitchen and ping pong in the basement! Only issue was with cooking—stove/oven not working right. It’s an old house, so the upstairs is out of level—one can get used to that, though. Kids were disappointed with no tv, but that makes for better conversations! Boyne City had a lovely Christmas parade and everyone was so friendly! Will definitely consider coming back again!

Great house for large group

Heather was great and very responsive! The house was well suited for a larger group of adults/couples with multiple separate bedrooms. The kitchen was also great for a larger group allowing everyone to gather and cook at the same time and be together. Great outdoor back patio space too where we ate just about every night and a yard for our dog! Loved that dogs were allowed for a very reasonable fee! Great location only two blocks from beach and a few from downtown Boyne City as well as close to other cities, Charlevoix, Petoskey, etc that allowed us to take easy side trips! Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay!

Property is clean and roomy and was great for our family. We had other family members at other homes in the area and we gravitated to this one because of the comfort and the room it provided. Kitchen nicely supplied with dishes and utensils. Great yard for our grands. Outdoor space was great for gathering and conversing. Will be looking to stay here again next year.

Room for everyone, comforts of home

Charming home in a great location of Boyne City. Close enough to walk or bike to a beach and to town. Home was clean and very comfortable. Heather was patient with my many questions and very responsive. My only suggestion would be to put window AC units in all the sleeping areas. It was quite warm the week we were there and even with the many fans provided, it made sleeping difficult for those who were in rooms without AC. I'd stay again if Heather can put up with us!
