My daughter and myself had a great time. The house is located in a perfect position. There was some noise due to renovations next door but we didn’t let it get us down. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this village.
the cottage was well located with an easy walk for restaurants, and shops. Cosy log fire was good for the evenings. We would have liked a freezer compartment in the fridge. Even in winter gin and tonic needs ice.
Excellent butchers nearby on opposite side of road and we liked the Tapas restaurant. Of course we spent some time in all the book shops!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Found other accommodation's after arriving.
Very small but expected that. Saw black mold all over the ceiling in the bathroom, low budget furniture, dirty rag on kitchen counter, as well as cracked paint on bathroom wall. The bathroom alone made the stay impossible.
Owner was quick to look into the issues but only offered 25% refund even though we couldnt stay in a place with black mold (allergies).
Snug cottage in ideal location for long weekend in Hay
Rob was very helpful in his communication with us about parking and checking in and out and places to eat etc.
The cottage was in an excellent location with all that we needed. An excellent base for exploring the town and area.
