About this property

A luxury 2 bedroom mobile home situated in the grounds of an old school in the heart of Snowdonia. Perfect for families or a romantic getaway.

Fully insulated with central heating and double glazing, ideal for summer or winter. Everything you need for a perfect holiday, including bed linen, towels, kitchen and bathroom essentials are included in the price

The main bedroom has a king size bed, a TV/DVD player and ensuite toilet. The second bedroom can be set up with twin single beds or a double bed. There is also an iron, ironing board and hair dryer.

A fully equiped kitchen/diner with everything you need for a comfortable holiday.

The spacious lounge area has a leather three piece suite with electric reclining function. Patio doors opening on to a large veranda with outdoor furniture. There is a flat screen TV, DVD player and a selection of books, DVDs and board games.

A wide selection of maps, guide books and leaflets are available to help you to make the most of your stay.

Outside, there is a large secluded garden surrounded by mature trees. Two separate decked/paved areas with a wide range of garden furniture.

The property has spectacular views of Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula. We are located in a peaceful rural location but only 10 minutes from the A55 expressway, Anglesey, and the towns of Bangor and Caernarfon. There is a wide selection of pubs/restaurants close by. One of Wales premier tourist attractions, Greenwood Forest Park, is within walking distance.

We are ideally located for all the attractions that the area has to offer - hill walking, sailing, horse riding, climbing, bike riding, paint balling, adventure sports, fabulous beaches and historic sites.

The area has become the premier UK location for adventure sports with Zipworld, Bounce Below, Tree Top Adventures, Anglesey Rib Rides, the National Outdoor Sailing Centre and the National Mountain Centre all within easy reach.

For the less energetic; there are the world famous Snowdon mountain railway, Welsh Highland Railway and the Ffestiniog railway, Portmeirion village, Bodnant Gardens, fabulous castles, national trust properties, great beaches and no less than 4 UNESCO world heritage sites.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely property. Kevin and Annwyn were lovely and very welcoming. The property was perfect. A real home from home feel, beautifully clean with plenty of storage and comfortable beds. The location is peaceful with great views of the mountains and there is plenty to do only a short drive away. I loved my daily chats with their beautiful horse too.

Perfect for a peaceful break

Annwen greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome and relaxed, showed us around and answered any questions we had. Welcome basket was very much appreciated. Very well equipped accommodation, just about anything you could want or need was provided. Although no wifi, (if you need that whilst away) , there is 5G phone signal so in the evening tethered phone to laptop and hdmi to tv to watch Netflix etc. Position is perfect, rural but within easy reach of all local attractions and plenty of choice of places to eat nearby. We would happily visit again, thanks for a great weeks break.

Lovely Accommodation

Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, and lovely hot shower. Everything you need to make a meal if you wish. Even a reclining three piece suite home from home. Kevin and Annwen made us feel very welcome and left us a very generous welcome pack. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Brilliant

It's difficult to know where to start, everything about it deserves to come first - the accommodation is warm and comfortable, your host is welcoming and a fount of local knowledge and advice, the location is quiet and restful but well sited for easy access to almost everything that you might want to do, and the scenery is just wonderful. We just loved it.

Peaceful stay in north wales

We stayed at Hen Ysgol for 4 days during easter school holidays. Home is very clean, cosy and has everything one would need. My 5 year old son was delighted to see the horse. Hosts were very warm. They welcomed us with complimentary bread eggs milk wine and cakes. Overall a very pleasent stay. Thank you so much.

What an absolute gem. Beautifully clean and inviting when we arrived. Lovely welcome with bread, milk, butter and even a bottle of wine. So peaceful . Annwen and Kevin were fantastic hosts. Would definitely recommend. We're coming back next definitely

Perfect stay and a good location

We have had a lovely stay at Kevin and Anwen’s caravan, based in the grounds of an old school. We we had a lovely welcome with a basket of wine and goodies for our stay along with essentials such as milk, bread, washing up liquid etc. The caravan is lovely with comfortable electric recliner sofa and chairs. We instantly felt relaxed and at home. The stay was peaceful with beautiful scenery and we all loved Magwen the horse! Kevin and Anwen were lovely and were very helpful to offer advice for our stay. The caravan had good strong WiFi access, has a toys, dvds, books, garden games in a shed such as swing ball and a gas bbq. There is a lovely swinging chair which we used to relax and do some star gazing whilst the girls slept. I can’t fault anything, it was a change to normal holiday parks but there is so much to do with the great central location, Greenwood theme park is great (3 mins drive), Anglesey, Snowdon, plenty of castles, steam train journeys etc. etc. We really needed a longer stay to experience all that is on offer. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it. It really is such a lovely relaxing caravan. Thank you Anwen and Kevin.

Lovely presented modern caravan, Kevin & Annwen have equipped the accomodation with every essential required during your stay. Hosts are available if you require them, but at the same time not intrusive. We had a lovely stay!

Lovely peaceful place to stay

We had a great time, the hosts are lovely, the caravan has eveything you need, including fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. It is in a beautiful area and within 30 mins of castles, beaches a zoo and many more.

Fabulous holiday home, very comfortable

Fabulous holiday home in a perfect location. The house was clean and extremely comfortable with very modern and good quality furnishings. The reclining sofa & chairs were particularly welcome after a long day hiking! Everything that is needed for our stay was provided including a first class welcome pack. Kevin was very welcoming and very helpful with fabulous suggestions for places to walk & visit. All in all, a wonderful holiday.

A Really Special Place.

Really comfortable, well maintained caravan with a lot of kind and thoughtful touches throughout. It is sparkly clean well equipped. Kevin the owner is a genuinely lovely and likeable man, he showed us round the caravan and had left us a some groceries which was a nice surprise. We felt he really cared about us enjoying our stay and we knew we could contact him for anything during our stay but he also respected our privacy. We had a wonderful holiday, it was so peaceful and relaxing with sheep and hens sometimes coming outside our van. Great location for days out and walks and delicious restaurants and Chinese takeaway in nearby Y Felinhelli. Diolch Yn Fawr Kevin, Annwen and Emma. Can't wait to come back. Well done.

Llanddeiniolen hidden gem

A restful calm space where a slower pace of life can be enjoyed amid the stunning scenery of the Welsh countryside. With the friendly welcome it was very hard to leave at the end of the stay.
