Great property great location
The Driftwood house is awesome! It was super comfy and clean, fully stocked with all amenities and tastefully decorated. The property is tucked into a quiet culdesac just a couple minute drive to Ucluelet, close to the West Coast Trail, Amphetrite lighthouse and several beaches. The owners were extremely nice and provided us with great intel about local eateries and attractions. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great floor layout
Property is lovely. The house floor plan was open and very comfortable. The kitchen was well furnished and made it easy and enjoyable to dine in. The lawn was perfect for playing bocce ball and enjoying the outside. The walk to the beach was around the corner.

Beautiful house in Ucuelet
This house is a fantastic place to stay in Ucuelet. In a quiet, beautiful neighbourhood this house was super clean, freshly renovated, and excellently stocked with everything you could need. Laura the owner is friendly and responsive and made sure everything was okay, she even gave us updates on road construction in the area. I would highly recommend this house to anyone staying in the Ucuelet area.

Beautiful, comfortable home!
We had such an amazing time, the beds were so comfortable, there were 6 of us but we always had lots of room and never felt crowded. There are so many nice little touches all over the house (especially the beautiful artwork in every room) we all loved it and we had everything we could have needed and more! I would highly recommend staying here! They were wonderful to deal with and I don’t have a single negative complaint!!! Thank you for having us, we’re so sad to leave!!!

Comfortable Home Away From Home
We could not have asked for more in a vacation home. The Driftwood was immaculate, spacious and well laid out. The kitchen was very well appointed and everything was as described. We would highly recommend this property.

A home away home!
It is truly a home away home. Our family loved it from the first sight and didn't want to leave. We love the theme (ocean) of this vacation home. Very well equipped kitchen and Laura is very thoughtful in putting every single item in the house. Cook books, books, games, instructions for the TV, info binder, recycle bin, etc. etc. Love it!

Great place to spend holidays with your family
We spent 12 wonderful days at the Driftwood House in august. The house is really beautiful, comfortable, and so well equipped. The owners always answered quickly and efficiently to our questions. We also enjoyed the area very much. There are many things to do : surf, kayak, trails (lighthouse trail few minutes walk away) good restaurants ... We would without hesitation recommend the Driftwood House to our entourage.

Excellent vrbo. Exceeded expectations. Quiet, well located, spacious, new and clean. Well equipped.
Stayed July 2017 for fishing trip. Communications with owner were prompt and transaction effortless. Refund on damage deposit was promptly processed. House was as described, with the best equipped kitchen I've seen in any vrbo, and I've stayed in many around the world. We cooked in and never found anything missing in the kitchen. All kitchen equipment was newer and higher end - not the usual collection of garage sale stuff. Some basic spices were available as well as storage bags and plastic wrap, which were appreciated for packing a lunch. Barbeque is large and new and we used it twice. Laundry facilities are a full washer /dryer, which one of our group used. Soap provided. House is in a quiet dead end street within walking distance of the lighthouse trail. There is a tenant living over the detached garage, we were told, but we never saw or heard them - or any other neighbour. Town and shopping would be a bit far to walk. The house is spacious and bright. Rooms are large. Deck is open and sunny. All in all, a top notch vrbo.

Great property
Perfect location for home base while exploring the area. Very comfortable, clean and tidy, and responsive owners. Located in a quiet neighborhood. We never even turned the tv on during our 4 night stay. The layout of the house encouraged interaction with family while we were there.

A great place to stay in Ucluelet!
Driftwood House had everything our family needed. Well appointed kitchen, living room, bathrooms and bedrooms. The home was clean and well maintained and its location in town was perfect. The Wild Pacific Trail and Light House is only a five-minute walk away - we watched a humpback whale feeding about 400 metres from shore, amazing! Ucluelet offers great dining, kayaking tours and surf shops - a truly wonderful place to have a vacation. The booking process was easy. Check the green binder in the home, its full of good tips for restaurants, cafes, outdoor adventures and general knowledge of Ucluelet and area. I would recommend Driftwood House to my friends and neighbours. My only small criticism is the barbeque. It is quite rusted and needs to be replaced.

What a charming place to stay!
We loved the house, spacious, clean, comfortable, and in a good location and quiet neighborhood. Our favorite thing was waking up one morning to a mother and 2 baby deer grazing in the front lawn!

Extremely Enjoyable Stay
The Driftwood House situated on a quiet street was everything we expected and more and reflected the online pictures and reviews! This house is very well laid out with a beautiful yard that accommodated 6 adults and 2 infants. The house came extremely well equipped with all the necessities and we even supplied with extras upon request. We had an opportunity to meet with one of the owners with which we had a very pleasant conversation. My whole family was very impressed with the accommodations and I would recommend this vacation home to anyone. Ucluelet is a very picturesque town with all the indemnities that you would require and more. We spent the entire week exploring both Ucluelet and Tofino and all the beaches and trails between... AMAZING Week! WE will be back! Thanks for the opportunity to stay in your vacation home! Scott, Jane & Family

A Quiet Retreat in Ucluelet
Thank you for the use of your beautiful home. We loved the open concept on the first floor. The deck was our hang out when we weren't exploring the area. The beds were wonderful!

Comfortable Home with Lots of Nice Touches and Amenities
We had a great time at The Driftwood House, which is easy walking distance to the wonderful Wild Pacific Trail system and a short drive to restaurants and main part of town. A lot of thought has been put into making the house comfortable for a stay - comfortable beds, lots of room to sit in living and dining areas, very well-equipped kitchen with all the utensils, dishes, pans, and basic starter items (salt, oil, sugar, teas, coffee) you need, which is greatly appreciated when staying just a few days, and lots of nice touches like games, beach towels, extra bathroom towels, and umbrellas. Very clean and well-maintained. Communication, local recommendations, and house instructions were clear and welcoming from the hosts. A fantastic place to stay with 4 or more people, with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.

Beautiful modern home with plenty of wonderful little details
My family and I loved spending the long weekend at the Driftwood house. The home was even more beautiful than the pictures with local artwork covering the walls and a beautiful spacious kitchen that we shared all of our meals in. It is close to Ucluelet, and a 5 minute walk from the Lighthouse Loop trail head which we took full advantage of (especially at sunset!). We hope to stay here again sometime soon and would encourage many others to do the same! Thank you Laura & Daniel!

Avid surfers and outdoor adventurists - the West Coast has stolen our hearts and we’ve fallen hard for Ucluelet. If we’re not at work, in the ocean or trekking through the forest, you’ll find us listening to good music while sipping on wine as we experiment in the kitchen! Life is too short not to enjoy it to the fullest.

Why they chose this property

We love to travel and have visited many countries. Although all were beautiful, we still think the Ucluelet/Tofino area is one of the most stunning & magical places we've ever been. We started visiting so much that we just had to move here! The town of Ucluelet is warm & welcoming and the perfect place to relax and unwind or explore and be adventurous!
