Renovated loft, in the Plaza de San Idelfonso, heart of the Malasaña neighborhood and about 500 meters from the Plaza de Chueca, consists of 40m2 in building with elevator and 2 windows to the street; vitro cooker, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, fridge, washing machine, electric kettle; LG 49 ”TV with VODAFONE Cable, double bed (Queen 160x200), Sofabed (145x200) full bathroom, Wi-Fi, Air conditioning. Public Parking Tudescos at 400 meters (32 € per day. Metro station TRIBUNAL to 400 mts., Or CHUECA to 500 mts.

A Good Budget Apartment in Madrid

We stayed at this apartment for nine days at the beginning of October 2023. The apartment is small, but ideal for two on a budget. It is a bit tired but clean with a comfortable bed and pillows, and plenty of hot water with good pressure. There is good wifi, an air conditioner and TV. Kitchen appliances include: fridge, two-burner induction stovetop (no oven), washing machine/dryer and dishwasher. The apartment is situated in a very handy location: Tribunal metro (400 meters), two well-stocked grocery stores (Dia 150 meters; Mercadona 300 meters), within a 15 minute walk to Plaza Mayor and about 100 meters from the little local square, Plaza de San Ildelfonso. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Jose Maria is a great host. Communication was easy and prompt. He met us at the apartment (30 minute taxi ride from the airport/€30 flat rate) upon our arrival and got us oriented. During our stay, he brought us fresh towels, toilet paper and soap. We enjoyed our stay and visit to Madrid; we would stay here again.
