Super cute middle row cottage- Short walk to beach, walk or ride bikes to shopping and restaurants. This vacation rental home in Emerald Isle can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms. This beach home offers many amenities including a deck and screened porch with furniture, fenced backyard, enclosed outdoor shower, and more. We have cable TV and high speed internet provided by Time Warner Cable. This home is just a short walk to beach access at the end of Seagull Street. The public boat ramp is less than a mile away. We will consider one pet under 40 lbs with a $100 pet fee.

COVID-19 update: Emerald Isle is now allowing short term rentals, the beach is open but with social distancing, restaurants are open for take-out or delivery. Have any questions just ask.

Cozy Cottage

Lovely cottage at the beach! Great location just a few minutes walk from the ocean. Close to local restaurants and shopping. Owner is an excellent communicator and responds quickly. We hope to be back soon!

Nice cottage very close to the beach

Our family enjoyed the stay at Emerald Isle. The cottage have everything needed in the kitchen. We were surprised how close is to the beach. We enjoyed walking to the beach every day. Kristen was very helpful and responded to our messages in a timely manner. Hope we could come back.

Fabulous house

We had such a lovely time staying here. It is so central, within 5 minutes you are on the beach and everything else is within walking distance if you don't want to drive. Our dog loved the back yard and it was great to be able to let her out first thing in the morning so that I could enjoy a cup of coffee before going on our walk. My son loved the outside shower and the fact that there were boogie boards there that we could borrow. We will definitely be booking this the next time we visit Emerald Isle

Great family vacation

We only stayed for a long weekend but will definitely be back. This was a great place to stay and so convenient to the beach. The weather was amazing and the neighbors were all extremely friendly. Great place for young children. Check in process was easy and home was very clean. The boys especially liked the outside shower- very easy for post beach wash down. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking- we cooked dinner one evening and breakfast one morning and coffee every morning. I liked having the washer/dryer combo to wash a load in the evenings as we were winding down so now I don’t have to go home and do it all. Kristie was very responsive to any questions/concerns and made everything easy peasy. No complaints here. Just looking forward to our next trip.

Like home away from home

We loved it here! One street away from beach and not too far from the Bogue Inlet Pier. We fished a lot and rented a golf cart and bikes which made it easier to get around with all our beach and fishing gear. We used pedigo for the bike rentals and Paul at Coastline Golf Carts. They deliver it to you and pick it back up as well. IlThe fenced in back yard was great for our dog too! Perfect for a family of 4 or 5!

Perfect for small family

Kristie is a super responsive host. This home was perfect for our week long stay on emerald isle. I loved that it wasn't over the top but still had everything we needed and wanted. Beds are comfy (bring your own linens which I didn't mind at all). A/c worked awesome (it was really hot while we were here). Overall a short walk to the beach, awesome backyard for the dogs. We even had a fire one night with s'mores which the little ones loved. Thanks for a great week.

Family friendly beach house

We enjoyed our stay and being close to everything! Short walk to beach, walkable or golf cart ride away from restaurants and shops. Outdoor shower was great and kids enjoyed the sand buckets and shovels available. Kitchen was small but well equipped for breakfast and lunches at the house. Strong AC and washer/dryer we’re great to have after long Beach days.

Sweet Cottage

Small quarters but everything we needed for our family of 5 adults and one teen. Loved the shady porches and use of the bike! We rented a golf cart for hauling our chairs & gear to the beach (2blocks)!

Great place!

The most charming cottage

We had a wonderful getaway! From drinking our morning coffee in the rocking chairs on the screened in front porch, lunches on the beach (a 5 minute walk away), grilling fish on the charcoal grill each night and feasting on the deck, we had such a great time! The beds were comfy, there was a washer and dryer, the kitchen had all of the necessities, and the AC worked GREAT! The outdoor spaces are wonderful and feel private with all of the trees. Don’t forget your sheets and towels and you are in for a perfect stay at Emerald Isle!

Delightful Palm Cottage

We had a nice stay at Palm Cottage between Christmas and New Years. The space was more than adequate for 2 people and dog. The fenced backyard was a super amenity for our furbaby. Location is great, close to the pier and grocery stores and restaurants, but tucked back into a quiet neighborhood and 2 blocks from the beach. Only reason we did not give 5 stars is the place is showing some wear and tear, kitchen faucet was out-of-whack and no dishwasher, although that may have been in the description and I missed it. Great communication with the owner. We would stay here again.

Beach Vacation with Kids

Really well equipped holiday beach cottage in a quiet neighborhood. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Highly recommend for families. Quick five minute walk to the beach. Clean and nicely appointed rooms. Kitchen had lots of equipment. Thank you!

It felt like home.

We were a group of 5 including 2 teenagers, 2 parents, and a grandmother. It was a very comfortable setup with separate bedrooms for the parents, the grandmother, and a room with 2 bunkbeds for the kids. We were very happy to find such a reasonably priced house in peak season with relatively short notice. This house really felt like our home away from home. It has 2 spacious decks, a large screened-in porch with rocking chairs, and a big yard (that's something we'd never enjoyed at the beach before). We loved that the firepit in the yard had been perfectly set up for us to burn a fire, and all we had to do afterward was make sure the fire was out. The yard bordered a wooded area that provided nice privacy. The house was very clean, which is probably the most important thing to us. Our bed was very comfortable, but I don't think the kids were all that comfy in the bunk beds. The kitchen was equipped for fairly small-scale cooking, but it got the job done. Lack of a dishwasher was kind of a drag but not too big a deal. The biggest pain was having to haul in our own linens and towels. The walk to the beach was about 8 minutes, which the kids complained about toward the end of our stay. I didn't mind it. Kristie, the owner, was very quick to respond when I had questions. Overall, this is an older house without the bells and whistles you find with more modern and much more expensive accommodations. But it served as a very comfortable home at the beach for 5 nights, which was mostly what we wanted. 5 stars! We highly recommend it.
