The 1.5km beach is only a few minutes’ walk from the apartment and has two good restaurants for dining which are open all year round.
The busy town of Lagos is only a 5 minute drive away (or there’s a local shuttle bus from Porto de Mos) and offers countless attractions including shopping, dining and a vibrant night life with bars and clubs to suit all tastes and ages. It is full of historical interest and has lots going on. The higher percentage of local residents here makes it feel much more ‘authentically Portuguese’ compared to other resorts on the Algarve, and also means it is still lively all year round. Sea fishing and boat trips are available from the Marina at Lagos and access to the Western Algarve's quality golf courses makes this apartment ideally situated.
As well as Porto de Mos, the beaches around Lagos are some of the most beautiful of the Algarve, like Praia de Dona Ana (voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world), which can be reached in 5 mins by car from the apartment, Praia do Camilo, a bit further on, and Meia Praia, whose golden sands stretch for 4 km (2.5 miles) east of Lagos. However, it is the promontory named Ponta da Piedade and sheltering the bay of Lagos which is most admired by visitors, with its caves, rocks and wonderfully transparent waters.
All our guests receive a meet and greet by our local property manager, who is available complimentary with your booking upto 2000hrs. Late check-in after these hours maybe charged directly by our property manager, who will advise prior to your arrival (fees are €25 between 2000hrs-2359hrs, after 0000hrs will be €50).
