Beautiful house with 3 bedrooms, each having their own bathroom. Right on the river. We saw deer in the backyard every day and tried to catch a trout! One of the nicest places I've ever rented!
House is beautiful and FULLY amended! I took lots of utensils and stiff to cook with only to find everything was there! Enjoyed sitting in the water and floating. Watched the deer and fawns in the neighborhood. It was fabulous and we'd go again anytime!!!
I took my granddaughter to her firs horse jumping competition in Bend and had a couple of other family members join. We had a fabulous time. Normings at the competition and afternoons on the river. The house had everything we needed and the nearby village was an added bonus.
This beautiful cabin on the Deschutes River is all we needed for a relaxing weekend. River view is soothing. It rained on Friday so we stayed in played games, cooked and laughed a lot. But when the weather cleared up, we kayaked on the river several times.
The cabin is as beautiful as pictured with plenty of space for everyone.
The hosts were gracious and answered questions immediately.
I would definitely recommend this place.
Home is beautiful and immaculately clean. Owner is very helpful and has great communication. We enjoyed our stay and the lovely location being right on the river. We would highly recommend this property.
We had such a great time staying here! The location is perfect, right on a calm stretch of the river. Fully stocked with everything you need for your stay, including bikes (for kids too) and kayaks. The way the porch is designed makes it really family friendly even being that close to the water. Check in process and communication with the owners was smooth and easy. Definitely recommend, we look forward to going back!
Beautiful log cabin home located right on the Big Deschutes. This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love the home and the location. Owners are super nice and quick to respond.
We loved the location and the access to the river, especially seeing the wildlife. It was a little odd that there were no steps from the deck straight out to the river. One thing I would suggest for the owners is to update the mattresses. We sank together in the middle of the bed.
Amazing property. Owners went above and beyond. They have thought of everything with such attention to detail. Amazing stay and we made some amazing memories.
My friend and I came into sunriver for five days of fly fishing. The cabin was such an amazing spot for us to end our days. Perfect relaxing setting inside and out. Very clean house and it had everything we needed.
The property was as beautiful as pictured. The house was exceptionally clean and well equipped. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. We had a glitch with the internet.
The hosts were responsive and fixed it right away, which was important as one in our party needed the internet for a class and for work.
I have stayed in many vacation rentals and this one was one of the best.
This property is beautiful. Our family had the best time! The house is gorgeous, right on the river and the owners make sure everything is perfect for your arrival. The kitchen is well equipped with whatever you may need. Everything is so clean! The surrounding area is breathtaking. Love it here!
We enjoyed our stay immensely. Cant find a thing to complain about but the rain....and judging by how this property is cared for, the owners would have made that perfect too, if it were in their power. Would highly recommend this for your vacation destination. Whatever you can think of, this property probably has it.
We stayed here for a week with our two daughters (15 and 11) for a week in April. The house was spotless, comfortable beds, well-laid out kitchen with nice tools, pots and pans. We skied (25 min to top of Bachelor), climbed at Smith Rock state Park (55 min away), mountain biked in various places, enjoyed downtown Bend and the High Desert Museum. Lovely stay all the way around. Three comfortable bedrooms and nice big table for playing games and doing puzzles. We had a wondeful stay!
We stayed over mid-winter break and skied at Bachelor. The pictures don't do it justice. If you can imagine a luxurious log cabin with all the amenities on the river, this is it.
Was a bit worried because of the heavy snow while we were there, but were fine with AWD.
Spacious log cabin on Deschutes River, gorgeous architecture and views
This log cabin is a timeless classic, lovely decor, stunning riverfront location, very comfortable and centrally located near Sunriver and MtBachelor!!

About the host
Hosted by Ron and Karen Murray
We purchased a beautiful piece of property on the Deschutes River and decided to build our dream log home. It took us over two years and we did as much of the work as we could. We spent countless hours driving from our home in the valley to the property and did things we never imagined we were capable of. We designed it with our grandchildren in mind and know when they are older we will have many happy memories with them. The home is more then a building to us. It is our heart. We hope all who visit leave with wonderful memories.
Why they chose this property
The beauty of this property speaks for itself. Even the wildlife in the area knows how special it is. We love sitting on our deck and watching the animals come and visit.
What makes this property unique

The outdoor spaces just call to you to relax. With a three sided deck furnished with rocking chairs how can you do anything but relax?
