Characterful property in Perfect location
The Old Town Hall is a beautiful quirky characterful property in a fantastic location with amazing views of the coast . It is ideal as it is near to many wonderful walks , a fantastic pub and a beach side cafe . The layout may not work for everyone though ,because the two twin rooms are linked , so that you have to walk through the first room to get to the en-suite bathroom which is sandwiched between the two rooms . Only one door had a lock to the bathroom. Also the lounge is on the middle floor ( which is a beautiful room with great views) but there is only one log burner which is down stairs in the kitchen . The house is lovely and comfortable but could do with some TLC and updating eg both the bathrooms had mouldy tiles , some blinds and curtains had marks or burn holes and the outside courtyard was a bland , unloved space with old white plastic chairs and faded wooden benches.( a few pots and a power wash would be nice) . On our arrival were met by a succinct note instructing us to strip our linen on leaving…. not much of a welcome note . We did had a great time despite the few niggles . However for the cost of the stay we would expect a higher level of decor and maintenance.
