Luxury Apartment with absolutely wonderful host family - stunning views, close to Kastani Beach.
The family are everything a family should be. We were so touched by the warmth and kindness of the host and all that they did for us no matter what problems arise with taxis a shortage on the island and over charging the host helped went out of their way to take us to supermarket, took us to beach and late cancellation of taxi for ferry meant the host , father and daughter woke at 4 am and at 5 am took us to ferry port. They said Indy worry we shall take you. They did not allow us to pay them. They were so kind with oil salt pepper and foods when we went intially to the wrong shop with another driver. They gave us food and fresh eggs from the hens. Arranged our birthday car and boat via talking to others on our behalf. There was nothing they did not try to do to help.
We travelled without my son’s father but they did not let us without anything we needed.
Very kind. The apartment is better than what we pay for in Sardinia we pay 3l and no where near as nice as this. They had Netflix so was wonderful and I do not like eating out 12/14 days as too tiring and occasional meals out do not make one ill, so was able to fry perfect eggs, make tea and coffee, their extensive pots pan stairage and fridge freezer were excellent. They cleaned our rooms when out and they always emptied the bins I put out daily when at home resting and cooking.
They even washed our clothes for us. I was stunned at the kind decent and fair price:

The only thing that got us was the occasional mosquito if it got jn.
The air con was not in but the fans and windows and French windows have ample breeze. The occasional lizard on the wall. One day we saw one and another.
The taxis in the island are expensive and can cancel and the host helped us with various help in this ti resolve any issues.
First I had to cancel my original flights due to passport by then time I looked this was last one in so was not sure as I am only 5 stars and no pool so was worried but the best pool the sea is mine away. The accommodation was better than expensive Sardinia and under priced at only £750 pounds. I thought it might not be the same standard but exceeded expectations.
They are a very honest hard working Greek family who have a love of their three daughters and the Greek Island and their hospitality was second to non. Wonderful hosts.We were able to make healthy dinners at home and dine on balcony stunning views , dense forests /sea.
