Town: The village of Kirklington lies east of Masham and south of Bedale, mid-way between Yorkshire’s National Parks, the Dales and the Moors. Kirklington is a well laid out village with a huge village green surrounded by older houses as well as a church and village pub. Across the fields (1/2 mile) is Camp Hill Adventure Park, and within easy reach is the market town of Masham, which is situated on the River Ure. Masham boasts a range of crafts, galleries, shops, restaurants and pubs, and is the home to the Black Sheep Brewery, which now brews 11 million pints of beer a year! The cathedral city of Ripon is a short drive away. Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Gardens (a World Heritage Site) is about a 20 minute drive and you can enjoy one of the best preserved monasteries in England or walk the seven bridges walk – a must. Ideally placed for exploring all of the famous Dales of the Yorkshire Dales National Park or the North York Moors National Park. The city of York is less than an hour away and Harrogate is about 40 minutes’ drive.

Beautiful cottage, great location
Set in a sleepy little village, with a great local pub about 10 steps away. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a home away from home stay. It is also perfectly located for visiting yorkshires attractions. Loved it here!
