Cozy Cabin with Mountain Views

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. We stayed with our 3 dogs, and it was so nice to have a dog friendly option! The dog run and driveway are steeper than they look in the photos, but I think that’s expected in the mountains. The back deck was perfect for watching the sunrise and relaxing after long days exploring. Loved our stay there!

Lovely cabin, steep narrow driveway

Lovely cabin, well stocked. Pet friendly and nice tall dog run on the side of a hill. Our doggos loved it! Angie (w owner) is very responsive. Close to 4 Points wedding venue, comfortable long bed and sleeper sofa. I’ve touch are the doggo treats and small water dish 🙂 driveway is very narrow and is steep. You can 3-point turn in the driveway but I DO not recommend trying to back out the driveway. My SO hit a wooden pole with his truck —he has a back up camera but couldn’t see the pole. The view off the porch with the hot tub is fantastic 👍👍 I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Where do we even begin!? We traveled from Wisconsin to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our pup Luna. We arrived to the cabin and it was everything we needed! The drive up to the cabin itself looks intimidating especially getting in the drive way but I promise, there are a few near by drive ways that are way worse than that at Hapey Place. You will get used to it! The check in process was super smooth, you receive a pin for the lock on the door. The cabin itself is bigger than what was expected. There’s a fenced in dog run on the hill, a hot tub on the back porch, a newly remodeled bathroom, kitchen appliances/utensils. It was extremely clean, the bed was surprisingly comfortable for our 6 night stay. There’s a pool table, foosball table and arcade game. Be prepared to be one with nature!! We saw a bear walk right past us, turkeys, skinks (lizards), so many different birds, it was absolutely amazing. Our stay was everything we dreamed of! I also forgot to mention the location is right in the middle of pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Took about 15-20 minutes to get to each town which was extremely convenient. There’s also a family dollar 5 minutes away in case you need last minute supplies! Beats having to drive to the busy downtown areas! This property exceeded our expectations so we will definitely be booking with Angie again!!

It rained a lot while we were there but the covered back deck was always nice and dry. The cabin is pretty big for a one bedroom. I'd stay there again.

Cozy getaway

Angie had great communication before and after booking. I was looking for a cabin that allowed pitbulls and most had either weight or breed restrictions. We really enjoyed the view, hot tub, and the pac-man machine. The driveway was a little sketchy at first only due to having a lifted truck but it didn’t take long to get use to. The cabin was very clean and just as described. I would 10/10 recommend staying here and will definitely book this cabin again in the future. Angie was a great host and answered any and all questions not only involving the cabin but also things to do in the areas

Best view

We loved our stay!! Perfect cabin for a weekend get away. We couldn’t get over the view off the back deck! And enjoyed our time in the hot tub!! Our dog loved it too and the dog run was perfect for him!

Beautiful cabin!

This cabin is beautifully maintained and so lovely. We loved the pool table, arcade games, and hot tub and our dogs loved the fenced in dog run! The owners were extremely responsive and great hosts. We really couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and hope to be back soon!

This is such a cute cabin and perfect for a couple days to getaway. The host is simply amazing and very responsive. The place is clean and the bed is very comfortable. My dogs also loved the fenced in dog run. 10/10!

Great, cozy location!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The location was far enough away from the busy “touristy” areas so we had privacy. It was only a short 20 minute drive to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge areas. Definitely some scenic & windy mountain roads. Being a pet friendly cabin was important to us and our dog Max enjoyed the trip with us! Some of our favorite things with the cabin was the hot tub on the back deck and the built in charcoal grill that I used a lot for steaks and burgers. The check in/out process was easy and the owner Angie was quick with communications. The cabin came equipped with mostly every thing you need from towels to kitchenware items. We’ll definitely look here again next time we’re in the area and highly recommended!

Great Property!

The location is ideal - far enough outside of the towns to enjoy nature, but not too high in the mountains to feel uncomfortable driving. The property was clean with an easy check-in process. Angie was very responsive. Overall, we had a great experience.

Weekend Getaway

The pool table and arcade was great. The bathroom looked like it had been recently updated and was clean. Pet friendly with a fenced in yard. The king bed wasnt very comfortable but was ok for a few nights. It was a really nice relaxing cabin to come back to in the evenings and had a little privacy unlike some of the other places ive stayed at in that area. Will definitely book again.

Breathtaking

This cabin was a beautiful get away. Very welcoming and cozy. Perfect location in the mountains and out of the city. Made the trip even better with the fur babies. I will be booking here again. Thank you angie for letting us stay at the cabin 🙂

Christmas Holiday Vacation

We stayed at Hapey Place for 5 nights. The location was a great midpoint to Gatlinburg, the National Park, and Pigeon Forge and the view and hot tub were SPECTACULAR! The host is clearly a pet lover and accommodations for our fuzzy family were wonderful. There are a couple of critiques that need to be mentioned. The whole place needed a good wipe down, both the floors and countertops were not as clean as we would have preferred, so disinfectant spray would have definitely come in handy. We chose as a family to spend our Christmas in the mountains and it was important to me that we had a tree and some decorations to make it feel like Christmas even though we were away from home. I asked the host if a tree was definitely going to be provided as the pictures on VRBO showed this, and they responded that the cabin was decorated. I will try to attach a picture, but the tree was almost comically bad. Only half of the lights worked and it had definitely seen better days. We sat through a couple nights laughing at how pitiful it was. Balls were haphazardly strewn about and it had a lean lol! We tried to find some lights and additional ornaments to help the poor thing, but because it was so close to the big day, supplies nearby were depleted. Overall though we loved our stay and would return! Thank you for sharing your cabin, the special views and allowing our family (including dogs) to spend the holiday together.
