This single-level retreat is ideally located less than half a mile from Grape Creek Vineyards, 4.0 Cellars, and Mandelbaum Cellars; 10 miles from the shops and restaurants of the Fredericksburg National Historic District; and nine miles from Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site.

Step inside the living room to find high ceilings, central heating and air-conditioning, and an artful blend of German- and Italian-inspired decor. Take a seat on the plush leather sofa as you browse the WiFi, or enjoy a cozy night in with your loved one as you watch the cable TV.

Begin each morning with a light breakfast and a freshly brewed pot of coffee on the wet bar, which also features a sink, a microwave, and small refrigerator for happy hour snacks and beverages. There is no kitchen in the Messina Cabin, but you'll find a wonderful Tuscan-inspired café at Grape Creek Vineyards just down the road.

After a day of wine tasting, hiking, or enjoying the nearby historic sites, step outside on your private deck to enjoy sunset views of the Texas Hill Country.

We’re excited to inform you that this unit utilizes a comfortable style of bed-making known as Triple Sheeting. Triple Sheeting is proven to be more hygienic and is used by five-star hotels around the world. It consists of a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, a blanket, and finally a decorative top sheet. Due to this change, the pictures for this home may not accurately represent the bedding that will appear during your stay. This has not affected any other amenities or the amount of beds available.
Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
