Great stay!

We had a wonderful time! The location is perfect. So easy to walk to the beach, to town and great playgrounds. The house is exactly as pictured. Updated, comfortable furniture, back deck with dining table, gas grill, lots of chairs, fully stocked kitchen with everything you’d ever need! Super clean! I highly recommend and we hope to return one day! Thank you for a fun 4 days!

Quiet neighborhood near beach and town

Excellent location! Walked to the beach, walked and rode bikes to downtown. Ample space in bedrooms and living areas.

Great family spot!

My family of four enjoyed a house with lots of space and a location so close to the beach. A bonus was having beach chairs and bikes included. We hope to come back soon.

Grandkids delight

Our grandkids really enjoyed the house. Lots of room and location great. Some quirky things in house, but no problem. Some repairs needed. We enjoyed our stay and kids didn’t want to leave.

Amazing vacation!

We loved this house. The location was great - a short walk to both town and the beach. The front covered porch was perfect for coffee and reading in the morning. Newly updated kitchen and bedroom were lovely!

South Haven stay

This was a great place for our family with kids to stay and it fit our needs. Enough bedrooms for each family member. The house had everything we needed and walking distance to the kids playground/beach and to downtown. The air conditioning worked better in some rooms than others. Overall, we had a great stay.

We loved it!

What a great place to stay! It exceeded our expectations! Large space, very clean, beds were super comfy. We loved being able to walk to the beach and into town. My only complaint is that we did not stay longer!

The property was clean and beautifully maintained. The beach was just 4 blocks away and beautiful! The front porch was gorgeous and so nice to start the day off with a cup of coffee. I would stay at the property again. Very Nice!

Great location!

This was a great property with a fantastic location for a family. Very close to the park and south beach. Owner was very responsive and house was great overall. They recently have done some renovations so unfortunately there was quite a bit of dust for us to clean up once we got there (dishes, counters, coffee pot etc all had a layer of dust). We spent about 30-45 minutes wiping things down to be usable). They did have cleaners come through before we stayed but they unfortunately didn't do a great job. Like I said, I believe this was due to a recent renovation so hopefully not an issue for anyone else. Other than that this was a great place and I would recommend!

Great Value!

This property was a great value for the price, the location to town and the beach were awesome. The small extras were super fun with family having bikes, games and a yard you could hang in during the afternoon.

Ok- decent location. Manager was not responsive at all. It sleeps 7, not 9 as advertised. One bedroom is a walk-thru bedroom to get to the 3rd bedroom, without a door.

Great blue house

Great place for a MI getaway

The house was perfect for our family getaway this summer. The beach and downtown area were easily accessible. The house was clean and kid-friendly. Highly recommend for families with young children!

Great location.

We enjoyed our stay over the 4th of July weekend. The house was big enough for two couples with little kids. Each room has AC, there is a fold out bed and a blow up mattress if more beds are needed. Plenty of extra pillows, blankets, bed sheets and towels. House was clean, livingroom furniture looked new, outside deck is shaded and has a dining table, there is a firepit and a grill. There are beach chairs and some sand toys in the garage. Location is great, short walk to kids corner, the beach and even the downtown area. We were little worried because it's an old house but we are happy with our stay and think it's a good value for the money.

Great place to stay for the money!

Great place to stay for a family of 6! Within walking distance to the South Beach and many restaurants. Our kids enjoyed the bikes in the garage, the game closet ...etc there was a musty smell throughout the house, nothing a dehumidifier can’t fix! Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful house & great location

This house was a joy to stay in! Not only is in a great location it has everything you need. We stayed here with 4 kids & 2 adults. The master bedroom has a big closet that fit our bed for our infant. The 3rd bedroom is bright so suggest bringing portable blackout shades to cover the sky light. Worked great for our kids since the sun sets way past their bedtime. Greatly enjoyed being able to walk to the kids corner, downtown & the beach. The beach is walkable but be prepared to drive with all the stuff you need. The house also had 2 bikes which was a nice surprise! Would definitely stay here again.

Loved this beach community

This host supplied everything we could possibly wish for right down to the beach chairs etc. the house was comfortable and I loved the private front porch. Only complaint was the two beds I tried in second bedroom were HARD. We stayed three nights and had wonderful relaxing time

We fell in love with South Haven when we vacationed here a few years ago. It reminded us of the East Coast seashore of our youth. Blue Gable, built in the early 20th century, is a delightful house with beautiful woodwork and has the charm of yesterday with the modern conveniences of today. We hope you love it as much as we do.

Only 4 blocks for fun in the sun on the beautiful sugar sand of South Beach. 3 blocks to Monroe Park/Kids Corner where there is room to play a game of baseball or Frisbee and let the little ones play on the array of playground equipment. 6 blocks to a charming downtown where you can shop and dine at numerous establishments.
