Great New Forest Short Break
My wife and I stayed in the house with our dog for four nights. Our initial impression was how clean and well cared for the house was. It was also well equipped - several televisions, ample crockery, cutlery, glasses etc., washing machine and dishwasher.- and very comfortable. Access was very easy with the key from the keysafe. Outside there was spacious off-road parking and a good sized garden enjoyed by the dog. We did not need the garden shed but it did offer additional storage space for boots, bikes and other outdoor equipment. Early spring sunshine meant we were able to use the patio table for lunches when were not out walking. Easy walks to the village centre, pub and forest.

Exceptionally clean cottage in the heart of the New Forest
When we first arrived at this cottage, we couldn't believe our eyes. It is a large house but with a cosy cottage feel and is so clean. Upon arrival we found that milk and a bottle of wine had been left in the fridge for us which was a lovely surprise. The house was extremely warm and this was without using the log burner. Everything had been decorated to a high standard and it was a pleasure staying here. Burley itself is a quaint little village with a couple of pubs, tea rooms and a few shops. It was ideal to use as a base for travelling to the surrounding areas. We enjoyed visiting Lymington and Winchester and we found a lovely garden centre called Haskins that had a fabulous cafe and so many Christmas decorations to choose from. Worth a visit if the weather is not too good and is also dog-friendly. After visiting the garden centre, we took a trip to the beach at Branksome Chine. The beach is fine sand and our dog absolutely loved running on it. She was exhausted most nights which is always a good sign. Would definitely stay at this cottage again when we come back to the New Forest!!

Lovely short break
A perfect little stay in a great area. The cottage was even better than described and was the perfect place to celebrate a big birthday. Contact from the owner and also the company they use to look after the cottage was excellent. The cottage was clean and well equipped and had everything we could think for our stay for 4 adults and our dog. The location is prefect and the area is quiet and close to everything we needed. We would definitely look to come and stay again. Many thanks
