About this property

Great Unobstructed View of the Ocean

By the Sea vacation rental is a fully furnished, three bedroom, 2,800 sq. ft., custom-built home with skylights and vaulted ceilings. It has a great unobstructed ocean view and easy beach access across the street. And that beach is THE beach where Circles in the Sand events take place.

The main floor includes a formal living and dining room with ocean views, a large kitchen, a family room with a wood stove, a half bathroom, a utility room with washer and dryer, and a bonus room. The second story has two full bathrooms and three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and full bath with an ocean view and soaking tub. The other bedrooms each have a queen bed.

The house has a double car garage, patio, large backyard and a south facing deck for great sunsets, high-speed Internet access, Wi-Fi, cable TV, a stereo, dishwasher and phone with free local calls.

Some special features of the house include By the Sea owner and Oregon artist Bill Kelsay's art throughout the house, room for everyone to have their own space, playroom/game room with lots of space, swivel rockers with ocean view, and a kitchen equipped to cook Thanksgiving dinner for 6.

We love this house and we know you will love it, too. Many return renters refer to it as "their beach house."

We came to Brandon to attend a wedding. The house worked out great for us. The location just across the street from the beach with easy access was perfect. Everything you could need was available in the house. We would like to have a mattress or two updated but they were OK. We would absolutely stay again.

Great house, perfect location!

Wonderful vacation home and excellent host! The fully equiped house had everyhing we needed, they even went and bought box fans for each room when we inquired about them the night before our stay. Lots of living spaces for our 3 generations to stretch out. The kids enjoyed the toys as well. The location is perfect, you cannot get any closer access to Face Rock and we enjoyed attending the Circles in the Sand events. Short drive to downtown Bandon as well - we went to Tonys Crab Shack several times.

This beautiful home has everything you need plus the location is so great! The place was spotless. Walk across the street to easy beach access. So close to the cute town of Bandon too.

Perfect days at the beach.

We had a great stay at the beach with ideal weather…house was perfect location right across from Face Rock with close access to beach. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked, plenty of towels and soap. Upstairs bathroom had a very slow draining sink, otherwise everything was good👍

Wonderful family beach vacation

Spacious home right across from the beach. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved going to the beach at low tide and seeing starfish and anemones in the tide pools. Great layout for our family and grandchildren.

Really clean, spacious and well-situated property. Was perfect for 3 guys playing golf for a week as well as being able to utilize the beach which is a stone's throw away. Had everything we needed and then some.

Wonderful home with room for the whole family!

The house has so much room for the whole family with a large kitchen, multiple living/family rooms, a two car garage, three large bedrooms, and two and a half bathrooms. The toys and games were a huge bonus and were enjoyed by the family. We will definitely stay here again!

This place was flat out phenomenal. Thank you to the owners for sharing your home with us. This house is deceivingly large with the most comfortable furniture of any house we've ever been in. It'd be a great house in any setting, but the view and location make this a 5+ star house. Walk across the street and you are overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches in Oregon. Walk down the steps and you are on it. Our kids spent hours exploring the tidepools and climbing on the rocks. We went into Bandon for some grub, did some clamming in Coos Bay, explored Shore Acres, and rode horses on the beach through Bandon Stables, but honestly we'd have been just as happy staying in and right around the house. Couldn't have been happier! You won't regret renting here!

Wonderful home and location!

House is spacious, comfortable, clean, and very well-equipped. Located on a quiet neighborhood street. So easy to get to the incredible beach across the street, downtown Bandon, and other attractions in the area. The host was very responsive to questions in advance. Highly recommend this place.

Location was great. Just south of Facerock park. Easy walk down to the beach. We had our son's brand new baby, and the view from the living room was wonderful while rocking an infant. Great family home. Clean and roomy. Host quick to respond to questions.

The best location on the coast!

Perfect location directly across from a perfect beach with rock formations, plenty of sand, tidal pools...everything you could want! Historic downtown Bandon is just steps away with plenty of cute restaurants and shopping. This home was perfect for our spring break trip--it could use some updating, but we were very comfortable and the location can't be beat!
