This lodge is in a great location that is not far from the public boat ramp. Fishing from the dock was a blast. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in town.
Very easy to find. Beautiful location. Caught 0 keeper size fish but still could find plenty of things to keep our 10 grandchild entertained. Great place.
We really enjoyed our stay on the lake front property. House was very clean and well stocked with all one could need for a stay at the lake. Great location.
I am a retired academic dean at a local land grant university. I am also a certified wildlife biologist, with a background of working with youth, as well as adults. I grew up within an hour's drive of Reelfoot Lake, and have visited it since I was a youngster.
Why they chose this property
This property sits at the southern edge of the largest part of the lake, called the Lower Blue Basin. The lake is 15,000 acres, averaging 5.5 feet deep with a maximum depth of 18 feet. The fishing pier is large enough for several people to fish--or sit and enjoy a most beautiful sunset. A large cypress tree at one end provides some shade during the hot part of the day. That along with a common southwest breeze is a welcome asset.
What makes this property unique
Right on the Water; Fire Ring; Large Fishing/Relaxing Pier; Shade; Large Back Deck; Beautiful Sunsets
