This home is located in a quiet, rural setting. The decks were wonderful to enjoy the outdoors! Bedrooms are very spacious and the downstairs area is fantastic! The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances new. Overall it was a wonderful experience!
The location was remote, peaceful, and beautiful. But only about 15 min from downtown Rogers so not too far away. The fire put was great. We enjoyed our stay!
This home was perfect for our needs. It was so quiet and peaceful there. I sat on the screened porch one morning watching three deer graze in the back yard. Access to the house was easy. We were given an access code in an email along with check-out instructions. The home itself is nicely decorated with plenty of space. The kitchen is well stocked with things needed to prepare meals. I would definitely recommend this home and would stay again if I am back in the area.
Great location with nice space around it, despite being in a pretty busy vacation spot. The kids had the lower level to themselves, and loved it. It was nice in March, so I'm sure it's great in summer!
The house is in a lovely setting. It feels secluded and private. The house is well stocked. The owner is responsive. We had two issues. First, the house was cold and we never did get the temperature adjusted. Second, the house was not very clean. There were many dead bugs in the basement, dirty baseboards and window sills, and urine from a previous guest on the base of the downstairs toilet. Most of the dirt was in the basement, but the upstairs had spider webs across the ceiling in the kitchen and dirty walls, cabinets, and side boards that need painting. The upstairs bathrooms were clean. The beds were all comfortable. Extra blankets found in the basement were smelly - musty. It’s a great house with lots of potential, just needs a good cleaning.
It was very quiet. We are looking forward to staying here next year and every year after.

Liked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Understandable apprehension level about an unknown property diminished greatly after finally being able to communicate directly with the host/owner.
Value, price, bang for your buck, whatever you want to call it, it was there.
I’ve been trying to think of reasons to go back to the area in order to stay there again.
The area is an active residential and public recreational area. The house is located on a dead end road with minimal traffic. The property itself is situated so that the trees offer a nice buffer to the surroundings and you can still walk around the “yard” (2-3 open acres) and kick acorns around. Or just watch it all from the large, raised deck. Unless you prefer the separate screened-in porch.
Definitely try to arrive during the day. The 2nd and 3rd trips to town are much easier and seem to take the 6-7 minutes it actually is.
Great house! Very clean, close to restaurants and shopping, but far enough out to feel like an escape! Came to visit our daughter at Arkansas and see a game.
House was perfect for our family! The basement offered a comfy place for our three boys to relax and hangout! The kitchen was perfect for us and we spent a lot of time talking and relaxing in there!
Everything you need is provided and then some! Did I mention how clean it was! I can't tell you how many rentals that we have stayed in where we have to worry about mold and musty smells with my husband and son having asthma! Not here!
Would love to stay here again and hope to in the future! We love Rogers and Bentonville, this family of MTB's ages 46, 43, 13, 13 and my 5 year old enjoyed all the trailes for mountain biking!!! Such amazing towns!
Owner was accommodating and helpful. House was clean and well kept with nice size bedrooms and plenty of sleeping options. Nice patio furniture for relaxing outdoors and spacious backyard. Enjoyed the amenities. Would stay here again.
My wife and I came to Rogers from N.J. for the birth of our grandkids ( yes, kids, twins) The lake house add so much to our visit. Absolutely beautiful!! Miss it already. Carol couldn’t have been any nicer. A true gem !!
We all loved the area and the deer coming right thru the yard as we were sitting out on the deck in the evenings socializing. The house was very cozy and had all the amenities of home! We had a great time! Thanks for everything!
We so enjoyed our stay at this home. Very comfortable furnishings and beds and we loved the screened in porch where we spent every morning enjoying coffee. It was a great value for the money and we hope to stay here again in the future. We didn't even miss the lake view at all! Thanks Carole for making everything from the beginning to end so easy and effortless!

I was raised in Arkansas a few miles from where this house sits. I love the flowers in the spring time, the hot summers on or near the lake and the beautiful fall colors as the leaves change.
Why they chose this property
Before Beaver Lake was built on the White River, my grandparents owned a farm along the creek near Monte Ne. My dad and his siblings were raised there. In the early sixties, Beaver Dam was built on the White River near Eureka Springs and the valley filled with water. The lake buried Monte Ne and surrounding areas. This house was built on a piece of my dad's home place that remained above water. I hope you can make great memories here.
What makes this property unique
When I walked into this house for the first time, I loved it immediately. The large windows on the east side of the kitchen area and in the walk-out basement let in the morning sun. The large deck on the east and the screened in porch on the back of the house are two of my favorite places. The walk-out basement is perfect for watching movies and hanging out. I love the big yard around the house and all the trees with the deer and wildlife.
