About this property

This beautifully styled new home, in authentic haystack hexagon shape, was built in 2017. There has always been a haystack in this place. In the former farmyard we have two more 2-person holiday homes, homes 802773. We are located between Delft, The Hague, Rotterdam and Hoek van Holland beach. Only 15 km from Hoek van Holland harbour. And close to Keukenhof, Kinderdijk, Gouda and Amsterdam.
From this house on the back of the plot you can enjoy far views over meadows with lots of birds, Cows and sheep. The livingroom feels airy and roomy because of the big open space to the roof. Costs nor effort has been saved on materials and style. Smart TV incl Netflix in the livingroom.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with oven/microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. The bedroom adjoins the living room and bathroom with toilet. The entire ground floor is heated with underfloor heating.
The second bedroom is upstairs and has an adjoining room with washing machine, toilet and washbasin.
The terrace is illuminated at night. The thatched roof covers two meters of the larger terrace.
One car can be parked right next to the frontdoor. A second vehicle can be parked in the parking lot on the property within 25 meters.
From the kitchen you can see the henhouse with chickens where you can collect an egg for breakfast. There is no rooster so you will not be woken up early.
For children there are walking bikes, tracktor, skelter, trampoline and our small animals.
A small boat with electric motor and two canoes can be used. Larger boats can be rented nearby.
In the garage for mobile homes behind the house your bikes can be locked up.

Wunderbar ruhig

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in einer sehr idyllischen Umgebung und dabei trotzdem sehr guter Lage mit kurzen Entfernungen zum Meer und interessanten Städten (Rotterdam, Den Haag, Delft…) Alles auch prima mit den Fahrrädern zu machen und der Vermieter war zudem überaus nett und hilfsbereit.

Gemütliches Haus

Tolles kleines Gasthaus in ländlicher Lage, trotzdem nicht abgeschieden. In der Küche alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Gemütliches Ambiente und einfache Buchung und Kommunikation. Vielen Dank für die Zeit.

Schönes ruhiges Haus auf dem Land

Wir haben das Haus und den Garten sehr genossen. Waren oft auf den Golfplatz Delfland , in Rotterdam und Den Haag. Das Restaurant Brasserie Oostergaard ( 15 Minuten zu Fuß ) ist sehr empfehlenswert , Maarten war auch sehr nett. Viel Spaß dort ! Ehepaar Stampfer Köln

Idyllisch und ein super Vermieter

Das Ferienhaus liegt ruhig mitten in der Natur. Man kann sofort auf's Rad steigen und losfahren, Delft, Rotterdam oder Den Haag sind gut mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Das Ferienhaus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Das Haus ist sehr hell und auch der kleine Garten um das Haus sehr schön. Der Vermieter ist einfach super. Ich war mit meiner 84 jährigen Mutter dort und wollte mit ihr die Gegend mit einer Rikscha erkunden. Der Besitzer vom Fahrradverleih ist allerdings schon eine Woche vor unserer Anreise nach Afrika gereist. Maarten, der Vermieter vom Ferienhaus, war bereit die Rikscha schon vor unserer Anreise in seine Garage zu stellen und dort durfte sie auch nach unserer Abreise bleiben bis sie der Fahrradverleih wieder abholt. Maarten spricht sehr gut deutsch und steht mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Für uns war es eine sehr schöne Zeit. Vielen Dank

Einfach wunderbar

Wir waren leider nur 4 Tage hier , aber die haben wir genossen. Das Haus ist top eingerichtet ,alles sauber und auf dem neuestem Stand . Zum Frühstück ein frisches Ei aus dem Hühnerstall . Ruhig gelegen , obwohl es gar nicht weit nach Den Haag oder Rotterdam war. Einfach wunderbar

Excellent rural getaway

This was the perfect place for our family vacation. It’s an easy visit to Rotterdam or Delft or the beach at Hoek van Holland. Even Amsterdam and Schiphol airport are about an hour away. We loved the peaceful rural location and taking walks by the canal. The unique haystack house was solidly built and very comfortable. The property owners were very kind, and always available if we needed them.

Ländliche Behaglichkeit in Kombination mit städtischem Erleben

Man freut sich hier immer - wenn man zu den städtischen oder den maritimen Sehenswürdigkeiten aufbricht und wenn man von dort wieder in sein ruhiges ländliches Quartier zurückkehren kann. Von den freundlichen Vermietern völlig ungestört, von der vielfältigen ländlichen Tierwelt köstlich unterhalten , bei sehr guter Versorgungslage und ebenso guter Anbindung an touristische Zentren lies es sich hier 10 Tage lang bestens leben.

Pleasant House to reach all destinations

Der Aufenthalt war sehr gut. Das Haus ist schön und liegt sehr ruhig um einfach mal die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Trotzdem kann man alle interessanten Ziele sind innerhalb kurzer Zeit erreichbar.

Schöne Ferienunterkunft in zentraler Lage

Wir durften bei Maarten und seiner Familie unseren diesjährigen Sommerurlaub verbringen. Die Unterkunft war schön groß und hell. Das Haus aber auch die dazugehörige Terrasse waren modern eingerichtet, wobei die Einrichtung zum Teil einen rustikalen Flair hatte, die zum Wohlfühlen eingeladen hat. Empfangen wurden wir von Maartens Mutter, die uns alles gezeigt und erklärt hat. Auch bei Fragen war sie jederzeit für uns ansprechbar. Maarten haben wir erst am Ende unseres Urlaubes kennengelernt, da er mit seiner Familie selbst Urlaub gemacht hat aber auch der kurze Kontakt zu ihm war sehr angenehm. Von unserer Unterkunft war alles sehr gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Den Haag, Rotterdam, Delft, Hoek van Holland sind in ca. 30 Minuten erreichbar aber auch Gouda, Haarlem und Kaatsheuvel (Efteling Freizeitpark) hat man in ca. 45 - 70 Minuten erreicht. Die Lage ist sehr ländlich aber dennoch zentral. Die Bushaltestelle ist in ca 15 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub.

Ein unvergesslicher Urlaub in einem traumhaften Ferienhaus!

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus in Holland war einfach fantastisch und hat alle unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Das Haus selbst ist ein Traum. Es ist geräumig, sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind hell und gemütlich, die Betten bequem und die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Selbstversorger-Urlaub benötigt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Terrasse, die zum Entspannen und Genießen der ruhigen Umgebung einlädt. Dabei kann man die Hühner und die anderen Tiere des Hofes beobachten. Die Lage des Hauses ist ebenfalls hervorragend. Es liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, aber dennoch zentral genug, um die wunderschönen Städte und Landschaften Hollands zu erkunden. Die Nähe zum Strand von Den Haag ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt, der unseren Urlaub perfekt gemacht hat. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei Fragen oder Anliegen wurde uns schnell und kompetent geholfen. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Urlaub in diesem kleinen Paradies. Es verdient definitiv fünf Sterne!

Grün inmitten urbaner Umgebung

Sehr ländliche Umgebung mit vielen schönen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Für jeden ist etwas dabei. Stille, Natur, Moderne Stadtmetropolen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und unaufdringlich.

Best of all worlds!

This place was wonderful! Centrally located to everything that we wanted to do. Close enough to the beach and to busy towns. The home is spacious and comfortable, a real home away from home, you really have everything you need, comfortable beds, large modern bathroom, open kitchen you can even do laundry! Our family loved riding the bikes into town and around looking at all the farm animals, The outside seating area was a bonus! Maarten the owner was very helpful. I would definitely stay there again!

Gute Lage für schöne Ausflüge, jeden Tag woanders möglich.

Tolle Unterkunft, Ruhe, Erholung pur. Wer Aktion „am Platz“ brau cht eher nicht. Auto und Fahrrad sind sicher gut dabei zu haben. Vermieter sehr nett!

Lang weekend

Functioneel ingericht huis op een rustige plek. Voor kleine kinderen leuk omwille van de schapen en kippen. Voor ons op een goede fietsafstand naar Delft voor familiebezoek. Een aangenaam verblijf.

We, Family Hoogendam, built two holiday homes on the farm in 2010. The Original farmer left thirty years ago. We took over the place from my parents. Sinds 2010 we have let two holiday homes on the former farm, which have been a great succes! Please read the reviews.

Why they chose this property

To visit the nearby sity's and tourst atractions there is no better location. We are close to the main road, and yet it is very quiet. You will have no idea that you are within 20 min from Rotterdam and The Hague and 10 min from Delft!
The house is very comfortable, beautiful and luxurious! Sitting on the terras overlooking the meadows or walking along the canal, the scenery is breathtaking.
