About this property

Come and relax for a while at Casa La Playa! This is a 2 bedroom plus loft, 2 bath. It sleeps a total of 8. 3 Roku TV’s Both downstairs bedrooms have queen beds. The upstairs loft sleeps 4. A great room to put the kids! We have two decks that have wonderful views of the Gulf of Mexico. All cooking items are provided along with towels and linens. There is a picnic table located outside downstairs along with a charcoal grill. Also an outdoor shower to rinse off when you come off of the beach. And unlike other properties, we supply towels, linens, and paper products without an extra charge. Great Place!

Had a great time here. Anna was super great about early check in and late check out! The house was stocked with spices etc which is always so nice! And the AC worked great which is always a bonus in the summer! Would definitely stay here again!

Baby’s first Beach Trip

My 3 year old son, 32 year old autistic brother, and mother planned a quick beach trip. This property was perfect. The walk to the beach was so easy and safe, and the beach itself was so peaceful. The house was clean, well stocked, and perfect accommodations for our trip. The host was very nice and responsive to our messages. I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home

I was very impressed with the home. It felt very good. Didn't have any problems except with sugar ants. There could have been a few more towels and linens as there is no washer and dryer at the house, but other than that it was great. Would do it again.

A Relaxing Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The 3rd row location with ocean views is nice. We brought a wagon to lug our boogie boards/beach toys to the beach in and it worked brilliantly. The kids loved the bunk room, and the two bedrooms had comfortable beds for grownups. We tried to eat lunch on the ground floor picnic table one day, but the flies chased us upstairs. It would be lovely to have a picnic table and some additional seating on the 2nd floor balcony. That being said, we enjoyed the views and the existing seating on both the 2nd floor and 3rd floor balconies. We were able to really relax this weekend. We would definitely consider staying at the house again :)

Our best Morris Family vacation , all were so happy and pleased with the cabin. It was perfect !

Location, and the comfort , could not have been better!! We love the setup of the rooms, and the very near beach was so clear and safe. All families were around us, and we always felt at home. The ease of everything will make us book again with you. Already looking at bigger cabin for next year!!

Wonderful Place to Stay in Galveston

This home was absolutely perfect for our family - it was extremely clean, the kitchen is well furnished, linens are nice and it is close enough to Galveston to make travel easy! I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for our stay

I took my husband, two children still at home, and met my two oldest children for an Easter weekend getaway. Cute place. Perfect for our small group and about 2 minute walk to the beach!

Great house but one huge issue

This house is a great house in a perfect location and can easily accommodate 8+ people. The loft is perfect for kids/teens that want to get away from the adults, and the master bedroom is quiet and cozy. The issue is there is zero washer and dryer access. In a beach house. Everything stayed wet/sandy for our entire stay. Having to go to a laundromat during a holiday isn't necessarily a great thing. Perfect house for an over nighter, but the W/D missing makes it a no go for us.

Nice house with short walk to beach

We rented this house for four nights. Was my wife and our two teenage kids (15 & 13) and my 15 yr old nephew. House had two really nice covered porches that allowed a nice view of the beach (blocked a bit by houses but still can see the beach). Was no more than an easy two minute walk to the beach which was really convenient. Beach was nice and quiet with few people. House fit the five of us very comfortably and pretty much had everything we needed. I had a few questions about tv remote and where to find some things and the owner/property manager was very responsive. I would stay here again.

Just what the doctor ordered

The house was great. Very comfortable and well appointed with what we needed to cook some awesome meals. Great proximity to the “no cars allowed” portion of the beach. Comfy beds. Two lovely porches. Convenient shower downstairs to rinse and keep sand out of the house.

Location Location Location

We love the location! It is close enough for us to visit the strand/seawall for dinner yet be away from the crowd when we are enjoying the beach. The beach here is very clean/well maintained. The only negative is that there is no washer/dryer in the house. I typically like to wash clothes while at vacation so I don’t have a ton of laundry to do when I return. Fortunately it’s just a 3 day getaway... For its location, I will deal with the minor inconvenience.

Wonderful family getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The spacious kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The loft area was awesome for our son. He loved that there was so many beds up there for him to choose from AND a tv. All the beds were comfy and we absolutely loved the balconies. What a great place to sit and sip your coffee in the morning! It’s a short walk to the beach and the beach was as beautiful this year as we have ever seen it. The Spanish Grant neighborhood is one of kind and we always enjoy staying there and meeting some of the locals, who are always so friendly and welcoming. We usually stay beachfront and thought we might be missing out on something staying on the third row this time, but boy were we wrong. You can see and hear the waves from the balconies and, like I said before, the walk to the beach is so short, we didn’t feel like we were lacking anything. In fact, we had one of the best and most relaxing family vacations we’ve ever had! We highly recommend this lovely beach house.

Perfect

This was the perfect place for our family to get away and have down time. Very short walk to the beach, great location. They neighborhood was very nice and felt so safe. Had everything we needed to make our planning and our trip effortless. House was very clean and comfortable. We all felt at home immediately. We spent alot of time on the deck just relaxing and talking. Owner was very nice and very responsive. I have absolutely no complaints. Could not have asked for a better trip. We will definitely be back!!
