Cosy and spotless country escape
The property was a spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable home away from home. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The lodge was the perfect place to relax before and after exploring the New Forest by bike or on foot. We would be very happy to return.

Lovely cottage for two on a farm
Very well appointed and furnished two story cottage attached to a farm which had rare breed goats and some donkeys. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. The cottage was spotless and had a very comfortable bed. The coast is very close as are the walks in the New Forest. All in all a great few days.

Fantastic little break, perfect location, great hosts
We had a brilliant time at Rushcroft Farm, our hosts gave us a lovely warm greeting on arrival and were friendly and welcoming throughout. Rushcroft Lodge was perfect, beautifully decorated and clean, and very homely. The only disappointment we experienced throughout our stay was the noisy arrival at 2.30am on the Friday of young ladies who were swearing and banging around, possibly a little bit worse for wear after a night out! We got the impression these may have been family members so didn’t complain as it settled down after 15mins, just a little disappointing as we had our 11yr old son with us who was also woken up and heard the bad language. Other than this, our whole experience was a very positive and pleasant one, we highly recommend a visit and will certainly be coming back.

Relaxing stay and beautiful location
The lodge was absolutely perfect for our short trip to the New Forest. It had everything we needed (including films, board games and puzzles for when we had a particularly rainy day!) The location was great and we were able to get to everything we wanted to do including renting some bikes to ride through the forest and visiting the harbour. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Beautiful property, tranquil surroundings, friendly owners, even the animals were welcoming
This property is well worth a visit, you will not be disappointed, tranquil surroundings and within easy reach of the forest and lovely friendly villages. We visited in January and were not disappointed. The property has everything you could possibly need, owners are very friendly and don't forget to ask about fresh eggs which taste amazing not like in the shops, I had forgotten what really fresh eggs taste like, brought some home with me. Have already recommended this holiday let and look forward to going back again so many more villages to see and don't forget the beaches. Lots of pubs and restaurants to eat in nearby to suit all pockets. Susan and Chris Sussex
