In Place du Grand Jardin and the historic centre there is also on every Tuesday and Friday a big market with clothes, bags, jewellery etc. Wednesday is for Antiques and second-hand books. Every Saturday morning there is a fresh food market with the local bio products.

Amazing luxury

The villa is fantastic and has many nice touches throughout. The location is perfect to explore the local villages and only 30 mins from the coast. The views are exceptional and the hosts were excellent. We will be back.

Das Haus ist toll gelegen am Hang und bietet einen traumhaften, weiten Blick übers Land bis zum Meer. Diesen Blick genießt man ebenfalls vom Pool aus. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten, einen ruhigen Platz zu finden und sich zurückzuziehen. Ebenso ist genug Platz vorhanden, um mit vielen Personen gesellig beisammen zu sein, bzw zu essen. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Wir waren mit 10 Personen plus Hund im Urlaub

Everything you need!

Marie is probably the most organized host we’ve met. And her house the best place to stay for a family and friend vacation. The view… the pool… the garden with its amazing lemon tree. We had a great fortnight.

Lieu de rêve!

On y jouit d'un calme et d'un point de vue exceptionnels. Les villages aux alentours sont pittoresques et chaleureux. La vue sur la mer depuis la piscine ainsi que les éclairages du soir laissent des souvenirs uniques. On recommande !

Impressive from start to finish

The house is wonderful, in lovely grounds with great facilities. We stayed with our 2 sons aged 16 and 12. They loved the pool, using the gym weights, playing basketball and darts. We played cards before dinner on the terrace. The house is located between Vence (small market town, with medieval centre) and Tourettes sur Loup (very attractive medieval hill top village). It’s 15 minutes to St Paul de Vence and 30-35 mins to the beach. Marie is the perfect host. She oozes style in her interactions with her guests. She was unfailingly friendly and helpful both before and during our stay. Her house is beautifully furnished with a well-stocked kitchen. We can easily recommend a stay here.

To many days where, gardener, poolman or house cleaning personal disturbed our privacy! A very noisy neighbor! The property was not properly fenced so had to buy fence to keep our dog in oin the property! But beautiful view from the house!

We had a very nice time in the house. You have everything you need! Also, the small town Vence, which is nearby (but we took the car there), is as lovely as it can be. You can feel that the house was a home once to somebody. This gives a lovely atmosphere, but you also have to be careful a bit and take care - some things are a little fragile. But all in all, this was the prefect place for us! Thank you again and also for the warm welcome we received.

Just Wow

We have recently returned from a 2 week stay in this wonderful property. From the sumptuous welcome pack, the beautifully decorated and well equipped villa , the pool to the beautiful views - everything lived up to expectation. Marie was a joy to deal with and answered any queries promptly. She even kindly sent on a couple of items that we left behind which was much appreciated. Splendido soggiorno

La casa è davvero bella e abbiamo passato dieci splendidi giorni. Eravamo sei adulti e due bambini di 2/3 anni. L'esterno è magnifico, la vista stupenda e la piscina è perfetta. Anche dentro la casa è ben disimpegnata. Andrebbe rinnovato l'arredamento (motivo per cui ho dato 4 stelle anziché 5) ma si tratta di un dettaglio. Nel complesso, consiglierei la casa a tutti (ideale ovviamente con dei bambini) e se torneremo in zona, soggiorneremo sicuramente di nuovo

Comfortable family home

Great house for a family get-together. The house is in a residential area, but it was quiet and well located just a short drive into Vence. Marie's home is comfortable and clean and the upstairs terrace is a real bonus - we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there every day. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Marie.

Excellent property in beautiful Vence!

Excellent, relaxing stay at Villa Marelle 25-30.5.2017. During my stay I explored both Vence and some beatiful villages nearby. Also made a daytrip to Ventimiglia Italy by train one day. Very nice hiking routes all over. A perfect place for active people, food - , and wine lovers. Highly recommendable

Beautiful Villa in great location

Words and pictures do not do justice to the villa while staying there! Everything about the villa far surpassed our expectations. In addition to the gorgeous house, pool, rooms, bathrooms, and even a Finnish sauna, etc. were absolutely amazing! We literally never wanted to leave and will absolutely be back!

Superb location, view, facilities and hosts

The house is fantastic if you want experience south France ambiance. The house is fully equipped and if something is missing the hosts will take care of it promptly. Fabulous view of the Mediterranean sea. The location is quite convenient. Nice center and airport 30-45 min. The hosts are very helpful, friendly and easy to deal with.

What an amazing Villa and location for our holiday

A wonderful Villa and a lovely location, easy access by car to Monaco, Nice, Cannes etc, Vence, Grasse are very close and 20 mins to the beach. Good bus connections, Vence is a lovely town to explore. Villa is wonderfully equipped and has great views to the sea, well maintained and the owner Marie is very attentive and responsive to requests we made. We ate outside on the terraces the entire time, especially enjoying the night time views of the coastal areas, even seeing the fireworks ! This was our second stay, taking the opportunity of the location to explore more of the area this time round, ideal holiday for our teenage family and their friends, plenty of space for our dog to also run around when he wasn't lazing by the pool.

Fantastic House, lovely area, helpful owners

A well overdue review! We thought this villa would be lovely from the photos and information we received beforehand - the reality was even better! We have stayed in many self catering properties and this house beats them all. Teenagers and adults alike all adored it. It is the best equipped house we have ever stayed in, you could not ask for anything more. Six of us stayed very comfortably, lots of towels, plenty of sunbeds (not always the case..) extremely well equipped kitchen and owners generous with contents in kitchen. We loved the terraces and patio areas, lots of space for everyone, lovely views to the sea in the day, stars at night (telescope provided). The house is fascinating with its unusual furniture, well attended gardens. The pool area was the nicest we have ever had - plenty of room for everyone, decent size pool and shaded pergola area too. We would recommend this house for a family holiday, easy access to Nice, St Paul (fascinating), Saint Jeannet and Vence itself. Vence is lovely to stroll around, good atmosphere even with August holiday makers. Enough culture and history to suit all. There is an abundance of restaurants, we ate out lots and thoroughly enjoyed every meal especially Le Pigeonnier in the square. We were so glad we chose this house over others we considered in the area, the owner Marie was very helpful beforehand and while we were there. The champagne reception when we arrived with local produce was just lovely and a great start to a fantastic holiday. We cannot think of anything that could be improved, the owners have thought of it all, we have very fond memories of our holiday at Villa Marelle and hope to be back again in the future.

My husband and I visited Vence over 20 years ago and not only fell in love with the area but essentially never left. Early morning coffee next to the ancient fountains in the squares, lovely outdoor concerts, many art galleries, so much history everywhere, or the proximity to beautiful beaches, a lot of activities, the peace and quiet of hiking through the cool local forests, it all fascinates us still after so many years. There is no doubt this will be also your holiday of a lifetime.

Besides it's stunning location and panoramic views, you will enjoy every benefit there is to living on the French Riviera.
