A beautiful traditional Béarnaise house which has been respectfully renovated. The house offer spacious accommodation with two living rooms, Wi-Fi and large pool for all to enjoy. Located in the Bearn region of France within 5 km of the ancient walled town of Navarrenx and within 1 hours drive to the foot hills of the Pyrenees. Local attractions include a Pau, water park, tree climbing adventure park and the plenty of great climbing and cycling routes.

It is a lovely spacious house, well equipped and the pool is super.
Excellent experience. Wonderfully equipped house in great decorative order. We were very happy in this place and had many many swims and who knew that Granny was the best table tennis player! There are things of interest close by such as a chateau and the local wash house or lavoir and a bit further afield are the fortified towns. The Pyrenees are magnificent and a journey up them to almost 5000 feet with a swim in a lake at the end is an easy trip.

Belle propriété mais...
Une maison très agréable avec un bel espace extérieur, super sympa l’espace babyfoot et la table de ping-pong. La piscine est très grande elle a fait le bonheur de deux adolescentes qui nagent parfaitement. Attention avec de jeunes enfants, elle est profonde et l’espace où ils ont pied se limite aux marches, surtout que le système d’ouverture/fermeture est fastidieux pour une ouverture/fermeture entre chaque bain qui en sécuriserait l’accès. Je n’ai vu aucun autre système de sécurisation d’accès à la piscine. A savoir que les volets ne se ferment pas bien à l'étage et de ce fait lors d’une nuit de forte pluie et de vent ils ont claqué toute la nuit…. Un coup de mal chance du temps. Nous avons également été déçu par l’accueil qui n’existe pas… vous aurez affaire à des boites à clés… c’est la première fois que je me retrouve dans cette situation sur abritel ! Même si les propriétaires restent très réactifs via messagerie WhatsApp si besoin, on ne peut pas vraiment estimer avoir été accueilli dans cette maison… c’est dommage…

Belle et spacieuse maison au pied des Pyrénées
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette belle et grande maison. Les enfants/ados ont apprécié la grange et des jeux de Ping Ping et baby foot. La piscine est grande et belle. La terrasse idéalement située pour les repas à l’extérieur. Nombreuses activités de rafting, canyoning et randonnées à max 1h de route. Merci aux propriétaires

La maison est superbe, les chambres au top,par contre le bas il y a bcp de toile d araignées a mon avis la dame de ménage bacle le nettoyage et compte sur les vacanciers pour le ménage. La piscine est superbe et très bien entretenu, nous en profitions le soir après nos visites de la région. Je conseille cette location

Beautiful Holiday
We were two families in the house, 4 adults and 4 children-teenagers, and the house dimensions are perfect for such a configuration. It has been wonderfully renovated, respecting its flair. Having a pool in the garden allows spending time in the house when temperatures are too high to escape with the car. The village is a typical french countryside village, stretched along the (small) road, not very lively, but very well preserved. Navarrenx and Oloron are the next cities, each one with its special characteristics (fortification, „gave“ (River), very interesting churches...). The countryside is surprisingly very Green, a mix of hilly and flat landscape, with the Pyrénées in background. South-West people are very relaxed and courteous. And most of all, the distance communication with the house owners was very simple and effective. Thank you them.
