This lovely home is a slate built victorian house and is a perfect retreat in a warm Cornish village. The spacious accommodation is very comfortable and well equipped. It is fully centrally heated and can accommodate up to 6 adults plus a baby in the cot provided. The lounge, with 55" Smart TV and superfast WiFi, has a traditional open fire and the dining room includes a big extending table and chairs. The large kitchen has all the normal equipment including a large fridge freezer and microwave. The conservatory adds an extra relaxing place to sit when it's not so warm outside, and also has a sofa bed which could accommodate two small adults. The rear garden is a quiet, enclosed sun trap. The 3 large bedrooms can each sleep 2, (1 king-sized bed, 1 double and 2 singles) and all have wardrobes, dressers and reading lamps. There is also a cot on the top floor bedroom, which is adjacent to a shower room with toilet. The main bathroom is on the first floor and there is a toilet and utility room on the ground floor. Overall it's a very practical, character rich home; we are sure you will enjoy sharing it with us.

Wij hadden een leuk verblijf. De woning was ruim en kwam overeen met de foto's en beschrijving. Ideaal gelegen voor uitstappen en met een supermarktje als buur.

We really had a great time, the house is very beautiful and spacious, especially we liked and spent most of our time in the conservatory. The house is in really good location.
Lovely spacious property which suited our family well and would be keen to book again. Local shop just round the corner. Excellent location for Cornwall attractions and all the beaches. Conservatory at rear of property was a wonderful sun trap as was the enclosed garden. Owners’ very friendly welcome instructions were much appreciated.
Sehr gemütliches Haus mit Atmosphäre, dass an einigen unerheblichen Stellen in die Jahre gekommen ist. Sehr schöner Wintergarten, ausreichend Platz und fernab des Tourismus. Gerne wieder.

We all enjoyed our stay in Cornwall. The house is very nice and spacious, very clean beds and comfort
The house could do with a little TLC . But for the money great value.Main bathroom bath too deep and no grab rails, just needs a little makeover.Overall a nice property in a friendly village.

Why they chose this property
I grew up here and I love the area and will come back to live once my career in teaching is done. My wife, Maya, from Vietnam, also loves the area and our children floursih in this oputdoor life away from the city streets.
What makes this property unique
Our slate built victorian home has genuine old school history, (it was department store managers house until the late '60s), but with all the modern amenities you will need for a comfortable and fabulous stay. Its location is incredibly ideal to explore north and central Cornwall's amazing outdoor areas.
