A lovely house in a perfect location to explore the north Norfolk coast.

The house was lovely, light and airy and had a really comfortable friendly feel. The kitchen/diner was perfect to spend time together. It is less than 10 minutes drive to Brancaster beach - so we popped back and forth daily enjoying daytime fun and evening strolls.

Overall good stay, but improvements needed.

Great sized property, good location, clean, & modern, allowed 2 dogs to stay :) Improvements needed: Smart TV, replacement sofa (springs are completely gone on one side), floorboards are SO noisy so can hear others in the house moving around early morning / late night.

A fabulous house for Christmas

The house was very spacious for all the family and 2 dogs. It had everything we needed in it to enjoy our Christmas and the grandchildren had lots of space to play with their new toys. It was lovely to have a big utility room and washing machine and tumble dryer too. The stairs seemed very creaky when going up and down them but Father Christmas was very quiet so no children woke up! The location was good to drive to Sandringham, Kings Lynn or the seaside. We loved our time here, Thank you

Super holiday

We had a wonderful holiday at Caddows. The house was in a fantastic location and beautifully presented. We had a wonderful week helped by some great weather. It would’ve been nice to have had a ‘welcomer’ of some sort as we have had at every other Norfolk Hideaways cottage we’ve rented but we loved staying here! Thank you!

A nice place for a family christmas

A comfortable house. Mainly well equipped although there was limited cutlery for the number of adults. Docking is a good situation for the coast and inland towns and villages.

Family plus dog in November

We enjoyed our stay at Caddows. Plenty of space for seven plus one dog. Attractive modern furnishings, comfy beds and everything worked. Very good location in an attractive village within easy reach of beaches and main attractions.

Docking revisited

The visitor comments without exception comment on the quality of the house and its contents and we agree with this. Sadly we found the cleaning prior to our visit disappointing. One of the men had to wipe down the worktop and move thecuting boards to clean beneath them and the ladies commented on the cobwebs in the toilets My personal gripe was the windows which had been smeared by children and looked awful in the morning sun If Iwas paying for this cleaning service I would not be happy We had a problem with the black bin which was full to overflowing but more importantly was crawling with maggots. This was fixed by the agent after a second call which is the best we could have expected on a bank holiday

Good for families and dogs

A great week for our 3 generation family and dogs. We found Docking very good for getting to the places we wanted to go without having to negotiate the heavy traffic on the main route. The house had a good layout, especially the large utility room which was excellent for the dogs and sandy shoes etc.! The Spar and the pub in the village were also very convenient. All in all a very good time was had by all. Parking was adequate for 2 cars.
