About this property

Bovec Area - Beautiful Mountain House

Built over three floors, on the ground floor is a large en-suite bedroom with large bed and superb bathroom. There is also a small kitchenette/ bar here.

The First floor has a large kitchen and dining area, with Rayburn stove and all other necessary appliances. Please note Rayburn Oven is wood fired (we supply wood). Lovely oak dining table and chairs.

Two further bedrooms, one is very large with wooden ceilings.

There is a WC and utility room on this floor.

The Top floor is a superb living room and Master bedroom, with direct access to the rear garden terrace.

There is a lower terrace area for eating out and a wood fired hot tub.
**Please note that the hot tub is not available between October and April (inclusive).

A superb mountain location set in the middle of the cute village of Strmec. A very popular touristic area and border crossing with lots to do around.

Although the house is set back from the road the village road can get quite busy in Summer especially on weekends.

Pets - Pets are welcome, but you must complete the booking form stating whether any pets are included in the booking. We only accept a maximum of 2 dogs, it can be 1 large and 1 small, or 2 small. If you are unsure please contact us for clarification. Thank you.

Beautiful house with hiking trips around the corner
We had a fantastic week in house in Strmec and had a perfect time with rafting, hiking, cycling and sightseeing. The house is perfectly suited for 6 persons. Rooms at first and second floor are really great. We tried to use the double bedroom at base level first, but it was too noisy and then two of us had to move one level up.

Comfortable Surroundings, Memorable Views
We miss the mountain views from the deck! Had a great 5 night stay during the end of September/beginning of October. The house has plenty of room, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the beds are comfortable. Be aware that the VRBO listing says the house is in "the Bovec area" -- it's actually located in the mountain village of Strmec, a 20 minute drive to Bovec. You're closer to the mountains (especially Mangart), but there are no services in the village. We would definitely stay here again.

Ein Traum in den Bergen
Ein Super schönes Haus in herrlicher Landschaft. Wer die Berge zum Wandern oder Radfahren mag, der ist hier richtig aufgehoben. Das Haus hat für uns auch keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Zu empfehlen ist das Rafting mit der Agentur Sport MX. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Natur pur
Tolles Ferienhaus mit sehr guter Ausstattung! Reibungsloser Buchungsablauf. Haus liegt in zweiter Reihe an einer Verbindungsstrasse nach Italien. Verkehr war aber weder optisch noch akkustisch ein Problem obwohl wir auch viel Zeit auf der Terrasse verbracht haben. Vom Haus weg kann man wenig zu Fuss unternehmen. Dafür aber gute Verbindung nach Bovec (wo man alles für den täglichen Bedarf bekommt), ins Soca-Tal und zur Mangart-Strasse. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!!!

Das Haus entsprach leider nicht unseren Erwartungen Das untere Zimmer mit Bad war eine Zumutung Es war feucht, sehr laut, die Pumpen für Wasser und Wärme gingen ständig an, eine ruhige Nacht gab es da nicht. Schon wenn man das Zimmer sah, Schock! Zwei Trockengeräte Man konnte die Feuchte regelrecht riechen. Die Türen waren verzogen, konnten nicht geschlossen werden Die Treppen hatten fast kein Geländer, hohe Sturzgefahr. Im Aussenbereich an der Treppe zur oberen Terasse fehlten Platten, die lagen neben der Treppe Das Schlafzimmer mit den zwei einzelnen Betten war so okay, die Betten haben bei jeder Bewegung geknackt Das große Schlafzimmer war in Ordnung Der Bereich oben war in Ordnung, aber nicht der Aufgang dorthin Am Schlimmsten war die Lautstärke der Pumpen Die Lage, naja zu weit weg von Gaststätten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, dass war aber noch in Ordnung Das Haus war am Einzugstag sauber Der Aussenbereich ist so la, la Es gibt hier eben nicht die deutsche Gründlichkeit Es müsste viel gemacht werden für mein Empfinden Wir können den hohen Preis für das Haus nicht nachvollziehen . Wir würden das Haus nicht mehr mieten, aber zum größten Teil wegen der Pumpen, der Feuchte und des Preises Ich kann die Bewertungen der Gäste mit 10 von 10 Punkten nicht verstehen, habe da aber so meine Vermutung

Tolles Haus mitten in den Bergen
Das Haus liegt mitten in den Bergen mit toller Aussicht. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und bietet viel Platz bis zu 8 Personen. Von hier aus kann man den Hauptort Bovec in 25 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichen. Ideal zum wandern oder Rafting.

Schönes Haus mit kleinen Mängeln
Das Haus war wirklich schön ! Sehr sauber, gute Betten, sehr geräumig. Allerdings gab es auch ein paar Mängel. Man hatte zum Beispiel aus keinem Fenster einen Ausblick ( Nachbarhauswand oder Berghang ). Der Ausblick auf den Fotos wurde von einer Stelle der oberen Terrasse aufgenommen.... Ein paar Dinge fehlten in der Küchenausstattung ( Suppenkelle, Salatbesteck, etc ). Trotzdem möchte ich auch erwähnen, dass bei dem Wunsch nach frischen Handtüchern etc sofort eine Housekeeperin vorbei kam ! Schnelle Hilfe !

A nearly perfect place
The farmhouse and the surrounding area are beyond mere words - the views are truly breath taking. Add in the support we received from the property managers (car trouble) and the friendliness of the Slovenians in general and our week was super!

Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für eine Vielzahl von Unternehmungen, die Lage ist beeindruckend, die Befürchtungen, dass die Passstraße zu laut wäre haben sich nicht bestätigt. Die untere Etage ist zwar sehr geschmackvoll ausgestattet, ist aber etwas feucht durch die Lage am Hang. Ein sehr gelungener und aktiver Urlaub, selbst mit einem Baby ◉‿◉

Tof vakantiehuis op prachtige locatie
Prima vakantiehuis dat mooi gelegen is, maar dat net geen 5 sterren waard is door enkele dingen die beter kunnen: - de garage is niet erg breed, we moesten daardoor voor de garage parkeren. Als de vakantie-buren met 5 auto's eveneens op deze plek komen parkeren, dan wordt het echt wel problematisch. - de douche op de keuken-verdieping staat wankel en hebben we niet gebruikt. De andere badkamers zijn dan weer subliem! - de houtoven in de keuken kan je niet snel even gebruiken. Een bijkomende elektrische heteluchtoven zou een hele aanwinst zijn. - de lichten in de keuken vielen soms zonder enige aanleiding uit en schoten dan na een uur weer aan.... - onder verschillende radiatoren staan kommetjes of tassen om lekkend water op te vangen, gelukkig werkt de verwarming wel perfect. - de matrassen en kussens kunnen zeker beter!

Toller Aufenthalt in atemberaubender Berglandschaft
Wir haben unsere Sommerwoche in diesem sehr schönen Haus wirklich genossen. Das Haus liegt an der Predelpass-Strasse und ist deswegen sehr gut erreichbar. Obwohl die Passstrasse tagsüber von vielen Ausflüglern befahren wird, ist im Haus und Garten kaum davon zu hören. Nachts ist es sowieso sehr ruhig. Die Blicke und Wandermöglichkeiten vom Haus aus sind super. Man ist sehr schnell in Italien (sehr schöner Badesee, 10 min mit dem Auto) und auch in Villach (ca 30 min). Besonders toll ist das Socca-Tal: klares eiskaltes Wasser und ein herrliche Natur. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet (sehr gutes WLAN, exzellent bestückte Küche), ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Einfach zum Wohlfühlen nach Sport und körperlicher Aktivität in der Natur! Sauna und Badezuber (beides mit Holzfeuerung und damit mit Vorlauf zu genießen) runden das hervorragende Gesamterlebnis ab.

Ein sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Hanglage ideal für Wandertouren
Das Objekt ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es wird einem auf drei Etagen je ein Badezimmer und Schlafzimmer präsentiert, ausgestattet mit jeweils einem Doppelbett. Die Badezimmer sind je mit Dusche und WC ausgestattet. Auf der mittleren Etage hat man einen großen Wohn- Essbereich, ein Kinderzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und einen großen Außenbereich, mit einem Badezuber und Sauna. Im Obergeschoss gibt es noch einen großen Wohnbereich und eine Terrasse , im Erdgeschoss ist eine Waschmaschine und ein Trockner vorhanden. Es gibt einen Garagen- Stellplatz und einen vor der Garage . Fazit wir würden immer wieder dort URLAUB machen! Ps.: Das Geländer zur obersten Etage ist für Kleinkinder etwas unsicher, da der Abstand zwischen Treppe und Griff /Handlauf so groß ist,das sie dazwischen fallen könnten.

Mooi huis in prachtige omgeving
In Meivakantie samen met man en 2 kids ( van 11 en 12 jaar) verbleven in dit mooie huis in het plaatsje Strmec, op ongeveer 20 minuten rijden van Bovec. Het huis is ruim en gezellig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. De omgeving is echt prachtig, met een super mooi uitzicht op de bergen. In de buurt zijn vele activiteiten te ondernemen, wij hebben meerdere wandeltochten gemaakt waarbij wij vele watervallen ontdekt hebben.

We had a wonderful stay
We felt very comfortable in the house. The 3 weeks have passed like in flight. The house is very lovingly furnished. The terraces invite in the evening with a beautiful view to stay. The information about hiking and other activities was very helpful and the service leaves nothing to be desired. You have a direct contact person who you can contact in case of problems. You can hardly hear the cars from the street because the house is set back. The restaurant "Mangrt" in Log pod Mangartom is to be recommended. The children and we were inspired. We had super holidays and will come back again in any case. Greetings from Cologne

Mooie en grote woning met prachtig uitzicht.
Deze woning was zoals voorgesteld. Mooi, groot en alles was aanwezig. 2 mooie terrassen om rustig buiten te genieten met zicht op de bergen. Een topadresje.
