This was a perfect place for our Christmas stay with friends in Enterprise. We had our own cozy place to come back too each night after hanging out with friends and family over the holidays. We loved how warm and inviting it was and really appreciated that they had a tree up and decorated for the holidays. Would definitely stay again!
We enjoyed sipping coffee on the patios with a view of the mountains, the quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds and bathrooms. There was plenty of room for our family to relax and enjoy.

This house was perfect for our family vacation! We loved the decor and extra niceties it had to offer. It was always good to come back to after a fun day shopping, going to the rodeo, or swimming at the lake. Would definitely recommend!
Cute home for family that came for a reunion at the lake. Convenient to stores and close to Wallowa lake for our family reunion. Thanks for a great stay.
The House was generously stocked with supplies and was even larger than we expected. The yard is large too with a wrap around deck. We were very happy with our stay, thank you
This was the perfect place to use as our go-between for our family reunion in Wallowa and the lake. It slept 8 very comfortably, the kitchen was well stocked, and the parking was easy for our boat. We loved this little house, and would definitely stay there again!
With the 3 bedrooms (plus the sofa bed) and 2 full baths, this was a great house for our family of six people. Great yard for the kids to play in and having a washer/dryer onsite was a big help. Kitchen is spacious and supported multiple people cooking/prepping at the same time.
We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. One item you should know about is that downstairs bathroom drains, both the sink and shower back up with use.
We have lost count on how many times we have stayed in this lovely house. It is clean, well maintained, well equipped and the owner is lovely to communicate with. We will be back!
Wonderful property this is our third time staying here! Great central location for activities and the house has everything you need. Thank you so much!

Beautiful comfortable house with amazing views
This recently remodeled house is lovely, tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture and a great large working kitchen. Excellent base from which to explore the Wallowas and surrounding area.
The house worked great for our family. The big kitchen was great to cook in, because of course all of us were cooking at the same time.
Thank you Kathy
This house is so well appointed. It had everything we needed and made our trip so enjoyable. Thank you for thinking of the little details, they made all the difference for us.
Property was as presented, and very well kept house and grounds. There were three of us staying there for a long weekend while visiting the area for fun and to help Hurricane Creek Grange with some annual events.
This property is in a great location. We went on a few beautiful nearby hikes; we played at the lake which is very close and convenient; we spent time in and around Joseph. The property has a large parking area that worked great for us with our jet ski/small boat. Kathy was a considerate host and communication was prompt. Thank you!
Our family absolutely loved this home and all of its amenities! The closeness of the home in Enterprise allowed us to get to/from Joseph and Wallowa Lake quickly, yet it was away from the hustle of the town during their celebration week.
Everything that you could want or need was provided. And the yard was perfect for a very busy 15 month old to play in.
This home was perfect for our getaway. The outdoor spaces are large and the porch and patio are so inviting to sit and sip. The yard would be a welcome treat for a family traveling with children. The house is well appointed and the decor was fun and homey. The environment was clean, nicely updated and though we didn't prepare meals in the kitchen is huge and would be a great space to cook in. Beds are comfy. The living is larger than it appears in the photos. Loved the individual a/c in the bedrooms to allow temperature control to the individuals liking. The host left a sweet welcome gift upon arrival. Would absolutely stay here again. Conveniently located with easy access to everything.
Una casa bien acomodada, utensilios de cocina y los baños bastante limpios y con suficiente de todo en la casa. Disfrute quedarme aquí, un lugar muy tranquilo para estar
We enjoyed our stay in this comfy home. We were there to visit a friend and take in her art show in Joseph. The house was very convenient to Joseph and everything in Enterprise as well. Nice and quiet. Enjoyed the great view while sitting on the front porch. And we had everything we needed.

About the host
Hosted by Kathy Siebe
Scott and Kathy have lived and worked in Wallowa County since 1981 and have raised three great kids here. We enjoy sharing the wonders of this area with family and friends and having a vacation rental is a great way to bring people into this beautiful area. This is our second offering on VRBO. Our first house, The Wild Iris House, in Joseph has been great fun so we decided to offer this house as well.
Why they chose this property
We discovered this sad, rundown house in 2011 and loved the potential that it had. It was built in the 1920's and we even found old newspapers in the walls. We renovated it over 2 years time and completely replaced the wiring, plumbing, sheetrock and renovated the yard. We truly can say that this is a new "old" house.
What makes this property unique
Bungolows have a charm all of their own. This house has wonderful city mountain views and is walking distance to downtown Enterprise. The large yard fenced yard is meant for letting the kids run around, or just hanging out with friends. You may sit out on the front porch and just watch the people go by. The house is located near the Wallowa County Fairgrounds and would be great for Enterprise festivals such as The Old car show in June, The Juniper Jam in September, and Mule Days.
