Wonderful Property

We had a wonderful stay. Entry into the property was very convenient via a keypad, therefore, there were no keys to keep up with. Upon entering the property the condo was very clean and welcoming, as the lights were left on for us. The view is exactly as pictured and was wonderful to wake up to each day. The condo was the perfect size for our family of 4. It had everything we needed. It was perfectly located and the amenities (beach access, two pools, hot tubs, and on site tiki bar and food) were great! The property is conveniently located within very close driving distance, and evening walking distance to lots of great restaurants. The local water park was just a short 10 minute drive, which was great considering the ocean was close due to rip currents during our stay. One of our favorite conveniences was the inclusion of the two beach chairs and umbrella rental on the beach. This was HUGE and prevented us from having to carry down tons of stuff. The only critique I did have of the property was the elevator situation. There were only 4 elevators for the large property, one of which was closed for modernization, which made check-in, check-out, and high volume times of the day (going to the beach, coming back from the beach, and heading out for dinner) difficult as we did have to take the stairs a lot of the time. Being on the fifth floor it wasn't too bad, but it would have been nice to have more easy access to the elevators. Overall we LOVED our stay!

It was so comforting to find a place that would give 18-25 year olds a chance for a vacation. My group loved the loc, place was clean and all was as the listing said. They each had a great time!

Great Stay

This property was very clean upon arrival. It had great updated appliances and came with ample amount of toiletries, cleaning supplies, trash bags, and even laundry detergent. We thoroughly enjoyed the direct beach access, pool bar and restaurant, and close proximity to nightlife.

Beautiful condo

The resort is very nice and has nice big pools and great hot tubs and is in a great location with an amazing view . My only complaint was that the pools and hot tubs closed at 5:00 every day since it was winter . I’m hoping they rethink that because most people love to enjoy them in the evenings . I will not be staying again in winter unless that rule changes..

Had a wonderful time at this condo. It was nice, clean and roomy, the owner was very helpful and easy to get a hold of. There are lots of restaurants in walking distance and a go kart track acrot the street. We had a great family vacation and would definitely recommend!

Unless you are shopping on a budget, look elsewhere!

Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else within PCB to stay. We were on the 5th floor thankfully because we took the steps most of our stay. Elevators were always breaking and out of order. At least once a day one of the pools was closed. It’s an older resort and the age shows. Our specific condo had been updated but very poorly. I didn’t go on vacation to judge someone’s grout job etc but it was definitely thrown together. I had concerns the moment we walked in about mold along the ceiling. I’m certain now that’s what it was since we are traveling home with 3 of 5 kids coughing and congested. Please check out the closet with the AC- tell me how disgusting that was. The condo was well equipped in the kitchen I must say. That’s about the only positive thing I have to say in this review. I also did not enjoy the amount of cigarette smoke that was on the property. You couldn’t sit out on the balcony without smelling it. Most people at the pool were not kind enough to walk away from the area when they wanted to light one up which baffles me with the amount of kids on site. We won’t be back!

Perfect Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at this Beach House. They were two things that we discovered staying there. One, the ice maker didn't work, we had to buy ice and put in the ice carrier and get ice that way. Two, it was a problem sliding the shower curtain for my wife, because they rigged a shower bracket together by conduit pipe and it was rusty and showing on the shower curtain. Other than that we had a great time and loved the view from the balcony. It was clean to perfection, we loved it. The security was excellent and seen them late at night watching the pool area and the grounds. Make sure you ride the Sea Screamer to see the dolphins, it was awesome to see them. I'm sure they will get those two things fixed after this review.

Wonderful stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was clean and exactly as pictured online. Beds were comfortable, and the view is spectacular! We had an issue with a broken dryer, but the owner had a repair company out very quickly! There are a few recommendations I have for this unit. Please install a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, and I'd also recommend installing some hooks in the bedroom or bathrooms for handing towels and bathing suits. Also, the seal in the washing machine needs a good cleaning, it has that musty odor that front-loader washers get.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I had a wonderful stay at The Summit in condo 518. We booked this condo at the last minute for a 3 night stay while on our way to Ft Myers Beach from Kansa City. Before we booked the condo we read the two recent reviews and wondered how they could be so different. We emailed the owner who told us the 1 star review must have been written on the wrong property because the unit was being remodeled from Nov to early Dec. which included the period that the review was written. Upon arrival we agreed with the owner's response and we could not have asked for more! Everything in the later 5 star review was spot on except they forgot to mention the condo has a very nice beverage and wine cooler next to the fridge which leaves more room in the fridge for food items. The entire rental experience was excellent. Booking was very easy, the owner was very responsive and it was easy working with him! He even allowed us to check out 3 hours late since the condo was not rented the day we were leaving. This condo was so much better than the pictures on the website. The owner told us new pictures will b e posted soon. It had nice stainless steel appliances and nice furniture. The king size bed was super comfortable. The remodeled kitchen and bathroom updates are amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked with nice small appliances including a blender with two pitchers. There were plenty of very nice dishes, glasses, utensils, nice pots and pans. There were cleaning supplies and laundry detergent provided for the front loading washer dryer.The views from the 5th floor balcony were awesome, especially the sunsets!. Thank you very much Bob for allowing us to stay in your condo. We would have rated it more than 5 Stars if that was an option and highly recommend it for others to rent!
