I would like to welcome you to LQ's Retreat! This property provides everything you will need to accommodate a large family vacation or just a peaceful getaway for simplicity! I strive to ensure this will be your home away from home.

The home includes 5 bedrooms with 9 premium mattresses and bedding for the best sleeping experience and 2.5 bathrooms at your disposal. All bedrooms include flat screen high definition televisions with cable TV and the home also provides upgraded Spectrum fastest high speed internet/WiFi to afford you the luxury of staying connected. There are large walk in closets that provides ample space for you and your family to comfortably store all your belongings.

The kitchen is equipped with an island, plenty of cabinet space and appliances. Appliances include: Refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, a toaster, a Keurig Coffee maker with Starbucks Coffee K-Cups and dishwasher readily available to make cleaning up a breeze! The kitchen has all the essentials to store and prepare your favorite meals as if you were home. There's even a propane grill on the back patio for those of you who enjoy the outdoors as I do!

There are two living areas(upstairs and downstairs) with premium leather couches, love seats. 55" flat screen downstairs and 50" flat screen upstairs for your enjoyment. Ceilings are high and the view from upstairs is amazing!

If you’re looking for family entertainment during your visit, downtown San Antonio Texas has a lot of tourist attractions that you and your family will enjoy! Sea World is located nearby(1.3 miles) and if given the opportunity, I would highly recommend partaking in the Grand Adventure Tour at Sea World. Your family will learn new and exciting information about our sea creature friends! Lackland Air Force Base is also extremely close for my military families. I am a retired Air Force veteran so if you have any questions pertaining to such, please feel free to ask. The home is in the perfect location for dining as well...there are a lot of major restaurants nearby.

Solar eclipse trip

This house is large, clean and in a safe neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay. Close drive into town to see the Alamo & Riverwalk. Home is in a nice quiet neighborhood. House decor was dated and basic, but it was perfect for our needs

Family Weekend

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The set up of the home is great for a family of multi ages. Not any knickknacks to be weary of little hands getting into. Plenty of comfy, clean beds for everyone, except our babies( 16 mo old and 3 mo old), pack n play would be a good addition. And when I asked about one it took a few weeks to receive response. A few draw backs were, not enough coffee cups for all of us to have one at the same time. The dishes/silvereare were not cleaned properly. We didn't have enough trash bags for trash left to us. The grill is charcoal and we needed to purchase for use. The walls around the beds are in need of a wipe down. And bathroom toilet paper fixtures need replacing for convenience. There wasn't any extra blankets, which would have been super helpfull to be able to cover up with on the couch, or an extra layer to sleep with. Also, the coffee maker is 4 cups, although there was a Kurig, but still not enough for us to all have a cup of coffee together. Basic essentials, needs some upgrades for better overall experience(like shower heads). This house did give us what we needed, the space to come together as a family and enjoy eachother. We visited Sea World which was super close, and the Riverwalk. Lots of shopping near by. Overall good experience.

Great Getaway

Great place to stay for our family getaway. Not only was the location convenient, but the comfort the home offered for this party of twelve was perfect! The home had all the basic essentials and more. We were able to make great memories and reminisce while we all sat / stood around the large dining room table. It was easy communicating with Mr. Williams from beginning to end. We will definitely be booking here again!

50th birthday

Honestly I looked at a lot of places but I chose this property because of reviews and the price for the amount of space was great so if you’re thinking about it think no more go ahead and book it before it’s gone the pictures on the website are accurate check in was so easy and fast Jajuan the host responded back to each of my text I mean the kitchen was fully stocked with everything to cook and eat with I had my own trash bags paper towels tissue etc we had 12 adults and 1 toddler with plenty of room the central air was amazing showers were hot we will definitely be booking here again if Jajuan will have us

We were very happy with the amount of space in the house! Beds were comfy and Jajuan was great at communicating when we had any questions! Location was great, just 20 min to downtown but lots of food shopping options around the house.

Perfect for BMT Graduation !!!!

Absolutely love this house!!!! It was perfect for our needs and the location to Lackland and stores and restaurants was perfect. Not too far from the airport but super easy to travel there. Does show some basic wear and tear of a rental property but I believe the owner is upgrading. The owner was also very easy to communicate with, patient with my schedule mixup. Huge kitchen with plenty of cooking and dining equipment. Had the weather been warmer, we would have been able to sit outside in the spacious backyard and cook on the charcoal grill provided. Overall it was the perfect place for us and our Airman to relax for a couple hours and spend some quiet time with family. If I ever need to spend time in the San Antonio area again, I would be happy to rent again!!!

Safe neighborhood and big spacious rooms

Our family was visiting San Antonio, TX for my daughter’s BMT graduation at Luckland AFB. It was about 15mins drive from the base to the house. We were 8 of us and the house was big spacious rooms. BBQ grill was there at Backyard and we enjoyed BBQ there. Definitely saving money getting a house than hotel, especially if large number of people. It was memorable trip and I’d like to thank you for letting us stay!!

Take pictures/share with owner at time of entry and have a witness

The property was not clean. Carpet had stains, food under the couches, showers were not clean. Take your own cleaning supplies, trash bags etc., it is not provided like it says in the house rules. No garage usage, but is on the website. *Damage to the dining room table was already there. No deposit refund. Just keeping them honest! and incase it happens to you!!

Home away from Home!!!

This was my first time ever renting a home and I was very nervous about the unknown. I was able to check-in early and set my own code to the house. This made my family and I feel even safer. I had family from other parts of Texas, Mississippi and Missouri on this trip. It allowed my siblings and I to come together and enjoy a much-needed vacation. The house is spacious. Everyone had their own room. The backyard is spacious as well and we also enjoyed cooking a nice meal using the grill outside. Although my family purchased utensil, pots etc., the house came fully equipped that there's no need to bring your own. The youth on this trip had so much fun spending time with each other and utilized the upstairs living area as a gaming room. There's five bedrooms, four upstairs and one downstairs. Perfect layout. Even the children often stated that this house felt like home, and no one wanted to leave. The house is located near Sea World, Main Event, plenty of restaurants, stores etc. The owner was very polite and answered my calls whenever I had questions. I recommend this home to anyone who is looking for the same experience.

This is a beautiful home, that is both spacious and comfortable. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood minutes from Lackland AFB, and is just minutes away from all major San Antonio Highways, shopping, dining, and entertainment.

This home features 3000 Sq Ft of living space, overlooking a nice backyard. The large Master suite and open floor plan makes this home perfect for entertaining or spending time with family. Also, did l mention all rooms have TV's and cable television and home also includes upgraded high speed internet/WiFi?!?!
