This condo was absolutely perfect for our family. We always stay in Princeville when we come to Kauai, and this condo has been the best one yet. We will absolutely be booking it again when we come back!
We stayed for 17 night. We found the condo cooled off enough to not need A:C. With 2 pools there was plenty of space to find a spot. I will never attend another “talk” again about timeshares, the person got really angry with us and it definitely put a damper on how we felt about the

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Let’s Go to Princeville
The property is beautiful. The check in process was horrible. Super slow and then they try to force full paying guests to the Timeshare desk. It was not a discounted rate. I made NO commitment to attend any presentation. When I didn’t go to the Timeshare desk and attempted to go to our condo, Travis chased me into the parking lot. I made several requests for help with the TV and WiFi as I am deaf. No one, in 10 days assisted us. I am deaf, so the noise from chickens, neighbors, parties, and garbage trucks didn’t bother me, but my hearing husband got very little sleep. Everything is an extra charge - air conditioning, upgraded WiFi. All in all, we will not be returning.
Having stayed at this location on two previous occasions, I have observed a decline in the overall resort. Simple things make a big difference. It’s my impression that there is a lack of communication between the various departments at the Bali Hai. I was told conflicting information by front desk employees, causing me to question the accuracy of their responses. Questions by guests must be accurately answered.
My unit had significant ongoing pest issues, specifically ants. A pest control company was scheduled to treat the unit, but due to over scheduling, the treatment was rescheduled. I vacated the unit 4 days after the scheduling conflict, without getting the issue remedied.
On a more positive note, I have kudos for the following employees who went above and beyond: front desk employee Hannah, Maria in housekeeping and Chris in housekeeping.
Will I return to Wyndham Bali Hai Villas? The jury is still out but I’m leaning towards a no. There is no shortage of available condos in the Princeville area and I do have a choice where I spend my vacation (and money!).
Great property to stay at. Food trucks are convenient and have great food. 30 minute walk to beaches. Would be nice if check in was faster. There is a lot of push to sit in the timeshare presentation.
We really enjoyed our stay. The two bedroom suite was perfect. The living space was large and met our needs for letting my granddaughters play while preparing meals in the kitchen. The grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed both pools although they weren’t lit at night. The grills were available and easy to use.
Great location! Lovely, well-appointed condo. Perfect for our small family!
We were more than happy when we walked into this lovely condo for the first time. Spacious, spotless and nicely designed. We were very comfortable for our two week stay and the new air conditioning, units worked very well. I had read earlier reviews addressing the lack of air-conditioning, so we were prepared to be a little warm, but these worked extremely well and we were very comfortable. We appreciated how tasteful and uncluttered the decor was. Would recommend. I wish there was faster wifi since i had to do some work, but we made do.
Comfortable, convenient place to stay. No complaints except that upon check-in we were directed to a suite with one king room and one queen room. Fortunately I was able to demonstrate that I had been assured a two-doubles second bedroom (and one was available), so no problems! The ceiling fans helped keep the rooms comfortable, although I’m not sure I would’ve felt great about leaving everything wide open had we not been on the 2nd floor. Jacuzzis nice and HOT! Very pleasant stay. Thank you!

Very clean and had everything we needed.
Great property. Very clean and the condo had everything we needed to cook and enjoy the area. The only thing that would have made it better is air conditioning. It was very warm at night and we had to sleep with a fan blowing on us with no sheets or covers because it was too hot.

Condo was really nice, 2 bedroom nice and quiet, lack of AC was a bit uncomfortable though.
Condo was really nice, 2 bedroom nice and quiet, lack of AC was a bit uncomfortable though. Princeville is in the rain shadow of the mountains so expect rain EVERY DAY. Always cloudy and drizzley, if you want sun and beach, stay on south shore. Roads closed so hiking trails all closed. Also traffic gridlock going south every day due to one lane merge towards lihue.

Beautiful property with friendly staff. The Condo was very nice, comfortable and accommodating.
Loved the location, and the property was very nice, clean and well maintained. The condos were very comfortable, and stocked with kitchen essentials. Loved that they had a washer/drying inside the unit, very convenient! My only complaint is that without air conditioning, you have to sleep with the windows open to get the wonderful ocean breeze at night. But, then you wake up to your loud neighbors talking and smoking on the patio in the wee hours of the morning. That was very annoying. Other than that, it was a great place to stay!

Too crowded, you need assigned parking spots. You're open air concept is very noisy and intrusive!
You have a guy on your security staff that is extremely rude and arrogant! You don't treat guests like three-year-old kids ! Justice was very pleasant and always helpful. We were told we could do a late check out then denied. We had 4 other couples visit us here we all feel the same... we will never stay here again!!

Very Nice Property
The unit we stayed in was #416. It was a downstairs, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with full kitchen and laundry facilities. The location is great; minutes from Hanalei Bay and the Princeville Center. The unit location within the complex was also very good with just a short walk to the pool/hot tub/grill area which we thoroughly enjoyed. The unit was stocked with paper towels, coffee, popcorn, hot chocolate, dish and laundry detergent, etc. and just a quick call brought prompt refills as needed. Check-in was handled very professionally and smoothly. The beds were very comfortable. The negatives were that the living room furniture and overall decor was dated and just generally "ok". The master bath Jacuzzi tub floor had significant wear marks and there was evidence of water damage where the wall met the tub. Also, the walls and ceiling are VERY thin and you can hear your neighbors quite clearly. We had a family with small children upstairs that were running around and it was quite noisy. These minor issues knocked this unit down to 4 stars, but I would absolutely stay again.

Property is beautiful! beyond our expectations!
The property Is however a time share property and they do try and sell you a time share and they have a lot of rules! Staff more concerned with rules than hospitality! The owner was awesome and tried to be helpful but seemed to be limited by the rules of the time share! Still gorgeous island , you need to drive as you are not close to any swimming beaches. But they have wonderful pools!

Good for the money
I think this property is OK. Not great but good. It had only one pool in operation while we were there and while we there they also came into our unit to do a pesticide treatment which was gross since we had food out and we had to stay out the entire day and we were with family that were older that liked to rest in the unit a lot. Also, we were in a corner unit with views to the garbage and you could definitely hear the traffic. Also being on a corner, we were on a side of the road leading to the main registration area. Because of that and the way the shutters closed (or rather, did not) on the bottom of the bedroom windows, when cars had their headlights on, it would shine into the room, which was rather annoying. Also, because we were on the corner, there was a ton of leaf blowing and we would get the noise from all sides.
the unit itself and everything in it was good. It was just that particular location within the resort I believe. But if you are looking for ocean views, I don't think this resort would be the one. The grounds are nice.
