What a lovely property to escape to! There was plenty of space for a larger group (7-9) and AMAZING views! Just a short drive to RED Mountain in Canada, it was a wonderful play to stay.
The house was also clean and extremely well-stocked. would love to return.
This cabins setting was spectacular. No where else can you wake up to these views and have a quite weekend away in an area like this. There was more than enough sleeping arrangements for our group of 8, and more than enough dinning and kitchen/ refrigerator space to be able to entertain. The beds were very comfortable, but also could use some heavier bedding for the cold winter nights. The problems we ran into was more in the infrastructure of this stay. Little things caused confusion and frustration throughout our stay, like no instructions for the wood burning stove, burned out light bulbs, and scarcity of amenities for our size of group. The living room has comfortable seating for 3 to 4, max. Kitchen is very well equipped, which could be better expressed in listing, but there are issues with enough dishes (mainly bowls) for large groups. Overall there could be a little more care for the details of this cabin, taking it up to that perfect score.
We had the best time staying here! The property has plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable, with a great main living area/kitchen. Jack was so easy to work with! The best part was, every morning out the back deck we were visited by two bald eagles getting their breakfast, it was amazing!
This is a beautiful cabin on a very quiet part of Lake Roosevelt. We truly enjoyed exploring this part of Roosevelt. Felt like we had the river entirely to ourselves except for the occasional fisherman. Pictures of cabin listed show different furniture in living room, so not the seating we were hoping for, but we made it work. Jack was a pleasure to work with and was extremely helpful with advice for boating this part of Roosevelt. He even checked in with us during our stay. First time I have had an owner check in. Very refreshing!!
The stay was amazing! Our only complaint was we could not use the door to the deck which was inconvenient but we told jack about the issue. Everything else was amazing. Coffee on the deck in the morning made the whole stay.
We absolutely loved it. The lodge was excellent, fully stocked gorgeous kitchen, views and custom shower. We didn’t want to leave. Owner was easy to work with, had no issues. Will definitely be back.
The lodge was perfect for our group! Plenty of room for our group of 8 to spread out and still spend time together. The location, being right on the river, can’t really be beat for views. Jack was so responsive and kind through the whole process. Even days after coming home we are all still talking about our experience, and planning when we can go back!
Thank you Jack for an awesome stay. We look forward to coming back next year.

Sweet Spot
This is a great spot to relax, soak up the scenery, and enjoy nature. The views of the Columbia River right from the house were incredible. The house is outfitted with cool fly-fishing photos and gear. Dogs loved wading in the river and running around the rocky/grassy slopes around the house. We enjoyed having a place that was secluded from other people and dogs on the property. A good place to getaway from crowded city life.
