Clean comfortable home near campus, 10 minute walk to Hayward Field

Our home is just a 10 minute walk to the University of Oregon, Hayward Field, Matthew Knight Arena, Hendricks park, 10+ local eateries /pubs, a grocery store, and quirky Hirons drug (and more!) store.
Enjoy our private backyard and air conditioned comfort in a premiere neighborhood.
This lovely, well-maintained home has three bedrooms and sleeps six. There is a heat pump that keeps you cool in the summer and cozy in the cooler months. The main floor master bedroom has a king bed, TV, and sliding door opening to the deck/backyard. The bathroom is remodeled with double sinks, step in shower with subway tiles, and heated floor. In the cozy upstairs one bedroom has a king bed, and the other small bedroom has two twins beds. There is also a convenient half bath upstairs.
The updated main floor has a spacious open concept living room/eat in kitchen that features hardwood floors. Whether you like to cook or simply have morning coffee, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. For a quiet space enjoy the front sitting room with a special kids nook and piano.
After a day of adventures, relax outside among the tall trees. You can enjoy dining in the private backyard and beautiful garden featuring a flagstone patio. Depending on the season, you are welcome to pick blueberries, pears or apples.
If you enjoy front porch sitting this is the place for you! Our home is on a quiet tree-lined street in a premiere residential neighborhood. There are plenty of walking, biking, and hiking opportunities. We are located just below Hendricks Park and the Rhododendron garden. There is easy access to the Willamette River paths, Laurelwood golf course, Pre’s running trail, and Alton Baker Park. You can join the duck football fans walking from campus to Autzen Stadium. The EmX bus stop is a short walk to Franklin Boulevard and is an easy way to get downtown or the Saturday Market.
This university neighborhood is a limited parking district, however our driveway gives you the convenience of 2-3 free off street parking places (depending on the size of the vehicles). There are also 2 one- speed bikes and one childs BMX bike with locks/helmets available.
Our guests are happy and we are pleased to welcome many back for repeat stays. We look forward to sharing our home and the community we love with you.

Great 2-week Eugene Stay!

Fantastic home close to all of our needs for two weeks. Walking distance to UO, supermarket, and walking trails. House is very well appointed and supplied. Thank you for a memorable visit.

Great stay for Family Weekend

The neighborhood and location was great for our UO Family Weekend trip. Beautiful tree-lined quiet street, adorable backyard, nice big kitchen, comfortable sitting area. The layout is a bit weird, admittedly. If you have older people, or little kids, the stairs are scary. Very steep and narrow. And the landing at the top of the stairs is a hazard. I was so worried someone would wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and go tumbling down the stairs. The bathroom upstairs (toilet and sink only) is so small, that you can brush your teeth while sitting in the toilet! Hey, multi-tasking! The bathroom downstairs is nice and big and modern, great shower. The beds were all comfortable. The house was very clean and well-stocked with kitchen essentials. We enjoyed or stay despite the wonky floor plan. We would book it again. Thanks!

Clean home in beautiful neighborhood

Very clean home in a charming neighborhood provided beautiful morning walks! We have stayed twice and would certainly stay again. Plenty of linens and towels, comfortable mattresses, spacious kitchen with ample cooking utensils, pots and pans. Beautiful private back patio. 10-minute walk to Hayward Field.

THE place to stay when visiting UO students

Fabulous location for graduation. (we actually stayed here when we moved our son into the dorms). The home is so comfortable. I absolutely love the kitchen - so much natural light with a nice view of the backyard. The primary bedroom is comfy and spacious. The heated tile floor in the bathroom is a nice touch. Lots of space to gather family and friends. I love being able to walk to campus and restaurants and the Market of Choice is right down the street. If you are new to looking for places to stay in Eugene I highly recommend this property! It is THE place to stay!!

Our party of 4 found the house to be perfect for our visit to UO and Hayward Field. The kitchen is large and well appointed with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the back patio - and the weather was ideal. Large master bedroom with lots of closet space. 5 out of 5 all the way around…

Perfect stay near UO campus

Lovely property with comfortable spacious living area and kitchen. We loved our stay and manager was quickly attentive to requests on how to operate the tv. Note the steps to the upstairs are very steep and not for older folk, so was not an issue for us but could be for others. Would stay here again.

Perfect spot for a perfect weekend

I liked this house. The only drawback is the two bedrooms upstairs are pretty small and cramped which the people staying in them did not like. Those rooms might be best for children. The master bedroom downstairs is great and spacious.

Wonderful family friendly house

This house provides everything you and your family need for an easy stay in Eugene. The AC units kept us cool and comfortable during extreme heat. The bikes are a great bonus for getting out and about.

A Jewel in a Traditional Eugene Neighborhood Walking Distance to the UO

All expectations met and exceeded. Stayed 4 nights over Family weekend at the University of Oregon. The house has loads of historical charm, a nice backyard, and is very comfortable. Everything is very orderly and tidy. Open a kitchen cupboard, and...immaculate. Modern, fully appointed kitchen. There is a nice binder that summarizes the quite interesting history of the home that I enjoyed reading very much. Was also tickled by the backyard alley gate made of downhill skis. Had much fun identifying how many of the makes and models of skis I had also skied on as a lifelong skier. Easy walking distance to 19th Street restaurants and coffee shops, as well as Market of Choice and the infamous Hiron's, other restaurants, Knight Arena, and the UO campus. Also walking distance to Autzen Stadium, though a longer hoof, but part of a tradition across the Willamette footbridge. Highly recommend.

We fell in love with our sweet yellow house , the tree-lined boulevard, convenient location to the University of Oregon, and surrounding area. We know you will too! A short walk to Matthew Knight arena, Market of Choice, Hirons Drug Store, Dutch Bros, Starbucks, and more. For food and drinks head west to the interesection of 19th and Agate St. You'll enjoy Bepe's and Gianni's Trattoria, Prince Pucklers Ice Cream, Sweet Life Patisserie, McMennamins 19th St. Cafe, Studio One Cafe, Hey Neighbor pizza, and Agate Alley Bistro. From there the University of Oregon and Hayward field are just one block south at 18th and Agate St.

What makes this property unique

Walk- ability, Bike- ability + location, location, location! We love the trees, our front porch and private backyard patio. Some of Eugenes best eats (ice cream!) are just down the street.
