Séjour agréable près de la Rochelle
Maison agréable et confortable même si un petit rafraîchissement serait nécessaire. Balades en vélo sympas à faire sur les pistes cyclables toutes proches notamment pour aller à la Rochelle. Environment un peu bruyant avec une route assez passante et des avions qui passent juste au dessus, heureusement peu nombreux.

Très beau séjour
Très bon accueil. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans la villa douce . L’extérieur est très beau . Comme sur les photos. Pour les chambres, il faudrait faire un peu de rafraîchissement au niveau peinture et déco mais c’est un avis personnel .

Nettes Haus mit tollem Pool
Alles wie beschrieben, eingezäunter Garten ideal mit Hund. Toller beheizbarer Pool.Viele Liegen zum Entspannen. La Rochelle und alle umliegenden Strände schnell erreichbar. Sehr netter Empfang und problemloses check in und out. Wir empfehlen auf jeden Fall weiter.

Das Haus hat alle Annehmlichkeiten geboten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das ein-und auschecken war sehr einfach und angenehm.

Leuk vakantiehuis met mooie tuin en privé-zwembad
Beschrijving op advertentie komt perfect overeen met realiteit. Aangenaam onthaal door buren. Huis zelf is gedateerd (vooral badkamer). Opfrissing zou aangeraden zijn. Wel alles aan spullen voorzien behalve waterkoker (zelf gekocht). Geen garage. Mooie omheinde tuin (ideaal voor hond) met groot zwembad/ligstoelen/pingpongtafel/sauna+douche etc. Wel voor alles auto aangeraden (bakker/winkels/restaurants..), 5 min met auto. Prima vakantie gehad al kon het weer ietsje beter zijn.

Très belle région, la location est agréable avec piscine chauffée.
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette location, nous étions en famille, 2 adultes avec 3 enfants. Par mauvais temps, la piscine chauffée est vraiment un atout. Les personnes qui nous accueillent sont très sympathiques et serviables. Nous vous recommandons vivement.

Très bon séjour proche de La Rochelle !
Villa très agréable très bien équipée à toux niveaux intérieur et extérieur. Piscine, ping-pong, babyfoot, pétanque, sauna, hamam, barbecue, Netflix ... que demander de plus ! Nous nous sommes régalés.

A lovely holiday hideaway.....
La Villa Douce was everything we had hoped for and had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing holiday - the garden and pool really are delightful, especially as we barely saw a cloud for a week! Checking in and out with Maité and Alain was easy enough aided by my own limited French and Google Translator app on my phone - plus a few laughs too! We will definitely return!!

Recent family holiday
Property is in a lovely residential area but has no local amenities, everything involves a car journey. The accommodation check in time of 17:00 seems very late and the couple you meet upon arrival are wonderful but cannot speak any English whatsoever. Thankfully we speak a little bit of French so were able to communicate. I was surprised that after paying a decent rate per night for this villa that the linen had been left for you to make up own beds! We were aware that the villa didn't supply towels but I was disappointed for there not to be a bathmat or hand towel provided in the bathroom. Also please be aware when booking this villa that you will be charged for water, gas and electricity on check out which is not mentioned in the advert.

Merveilleuse maison de vacances
Nous avons passé deux excellentes semaines à la Villa Douce qui est très bien située pour visiter à la fois les Charentes et le sud de la Vendée. La maison est très chaleureuse, la piscine chauffée un vrai régal et la table de ping pong avec le babyfoot restent des valeurs sures pour divertir les enfants. Je vous recommande vivement cette location pour passer de très agréables vacances. Les personnes qui nous ont accueilli ont été charmantes et de très bon conseil sur la région.

Très agréable
Accueil chaleureux et informations nombreuses sur l'usage de la maison. Gentillesse aussi quand on a demandé une "sortie" très tôt pour éviter les embouteillages de retour. Bcp de charme dans le jardin autour de la piscine. Plantes, fleurs, pin, pelouse très verte. Beaucoup d'équipements, pour la cuisine, le loisir, etc. Le tout très bien entretenu. Un petit supplément d'âme grâce à la bibliothèque où on trouve des livres intéressants et même quelques-uns pour la jeunesse dans la cabane. Malgré les nombreuses activités à faire dans la région, on a envie de garder un peu de temps pour profiter de cette maison. Particulièrement adapté aux familles (entre piscine, ping-pong, baby-foot, etc., toujours quelque chose à faire). On n'a pas utilisé le sauna mais il avait l'air très bien. Courses faciles car très grand centre commercial tout proche, et boutiques en ville vite accessibles. Internet de bonne qualité, pas de lecteur DVD quand on y était, mais visiblement dû à un changement de matériel. La VDVthèque de la maison est intéressante d'ailleurs. Séjour avec notre chien. Comme le jardin est clos, aucune inquiétude. Autour, bcp à voir La Rochelle, les plages mais la campagne vaut aussi le détour. On est allé à l'asinerie des Varennes (ferme d'ânes) et la Chèvre rit (juste à côté, ferme bio avec chèvres, cochons, poules, etc.) Très bon moment.

Superbe semaine à la Villa Douce
Location conforme à la description, très bien équipée, avec du matériel de qualité, c'est appréciable. Tout est bien pensé pour le pratique et le confort des vacanciers. Avec une personne âgée et un adolescent, tout le monde a pu profiter de ses vacances en restant ensembles. Les voisins qui nous ont accueillis sont très sympathiques. C'est très propre, le jardin est très bien entretenu, nous reviendrons

Belle et agréable maison près de La Rochelle
Nous avons passé 15 jours magnifiques à la Villa Douce. Nous avons été tout d'abord très bien accueillis par des personnes charmantes et disponibles. La maison est assez grande, propre, de plein pied, très agréable et fonctionnelle avec des extérieurs très bien entretenus. Les photos publiées sur le site sont tout à fait conformes à la réalité. Nous avons beaucoup utilisé la piscine, la table de ping-pong, le baby-foot puis les transats pour profiter du cadre et du très beau temps qui nous a accompagné pendant notre séjour. Le "coin Barbecue" est aussi très bien conçu et de bonne qualité. L'intérieur de la maison est très satisfaisant : cuisine moderne avec de nombreux équipements (il y a vraiment tout ce qu'il faut), chambres très correctes et spacieuses, salon agréable. Seul petit bémol : la connexion internet fonctionne avec quelques coupures. Ceci dit, cela était suffisant. Idéalement située par rapport à la Rochelle, il nous fallait quelques minutes en voiture pour rejoindre le centre-ville ou l'Île de Ré, environ 45 minutes pour le Marais-Poitevin... A 10 min en voiture de la maison se trouve une zone commerciale où tous les commerces sont présents. On peut regretter l'absence de petits commerces (ambiance village) mais l'avantage est de trouver absolument tout ce qu'il faut rapidement. J'ajoute que nous avons été à chaque visite ou demande très agréablement surpris par les Charentais, à l'écoute, gentils et très accueillants (restaurants, croisières, visites, musées...). Pour celles et ceux qui souhaitent courir (ou flâner), je peux vous conseiller la ballade très agréable le long du canal de Rompsay. Pour résumer, nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour et cela mérite amplement 5 *.

Lovely House with Everything You Need
Lovely house in a quiet neighbourhood with every facility you could possibly need. Pool is nice and the steam shower and sauna are also excellent. Hypermarket nearby and La Rochelle is a short drive away with a lovely town centre. The aquarium is particularly good. Highly recommended!

Peaceful, relaxing oasis of calm in beautiful area
La villa Douce is a lovely family retreat - with excellent and comfortable accommodation. The swimming pool was very clean with good heating system and the gardens with boules, pin-pong and table football in the garden house were enjoyed by all. All the facilities described on the website were in place - (and the beds were very comfortable - not always the case!) making a perfect base to go exploring the local area or to sit around the pool and enjoy the excellent weather we were lucky to have this year. Dompierre the local village is delightful - with bread, post and pharmacy and a small supermarket all a 10 minute drive away. La Rochelle is a fascinating town with far more things to do than can be done in a 2 week holiday. The free bike hire for 2 hours is a great scheme and the historic town is a pleasure to wander through with good restaurants, bakeries and ice-cream shops. We enjoyed the Ile de Re very much. Expensive to access (16 euros) over the bridge but worth it for a great village and beach experience. The welcome we had was excellent and we were made to feel very comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommended!

Tout confort pres de la Rochelle
La Villa Douce est une tres belle maison, tres confortable avec tout dont on pourrait avoir besoin. Tout etait tres propre, surtout le jardin et la piscine chauffee - nous avons utilise le chauffage beaucoup, mais ce n'etait pas trop cher. Le sauna et le hammam etaient aussi bien utilises par nos enfants (14 et 16 ans)! Il y a aussi beaucoup de jeux a la maison (ping-pong, bebe-foot,) et nous avons utilises les 2 velos laissees par Marie-Odile pour aller a la Rochelle. Dans les environs il y a beaucoup a faire, le canal de Rompsay est 10 minutes a pied et c'est bon pour les promenades avec le chien, les canoes etc. La ville de la Rochelle est 10 minutes par voiture et il y a beaucoup a faire dans la ville et sur les plages. Nous avons passes 2 bonne semaines a la Villa Douce, c'etait tres relaxant.
