Booked for a small group vacation, and it was exactly what we were looking for. The amenities of the house are exactly as described in the listing. The rooms are very comfortable. The view and the surrounding areas are absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen and gas grill allowed us to cook our own meals very easily. It's a short drive to Oban and plenty of amazing activities nearby. Finally, the host Sandy, was very welcoming and helpful. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay!
This house was amazing. The views over the loch every morning were spectacular. We loved having a flock of sheep in front of us. Absolute no complaints. There were 10 of us and there was space for all. We will come again.
The property (Seabank) was a beautiful modern house with stunning views of Loch Creran, which proved to be an ideal place for the family to launch their canoe and explore (in wetsuits). This is an ideal place, only a few miles from Oban, to do many things such as climbing Ben Nevis and riding the Jacobite train (cf Hogwarts) to Mallaig as well as sea trips. Indeed there was much that we didn't get round to in one week so we'll have to go back again. The house had virtually everything that one could want, including hot tub. A very minor quibble - as a family that cooks all our own fresh food, rather than getting ready meals, take-aways and eating out, there were one or two things we missed in the kitchen, although almost everything had been though of. The owners, Sandy and David Orr were delightful and very helpful. It couldn't have been a better holiday.
Seabank was a magnificent home with a beautiful mountains and water view. We would recommend it highly. Sandy was a wonderful hostess. The goodies she left and checking on our needs was greatly appreciated. Loved Scotland!!

About the host
Hosted by Mrs Sandy Orr
We have offered holiday accommodation at Seabank for over 10 years but have only recently added Seabank House as a holiday let. We built this house in 2006 and it has been our family home until 2017. The natural light and comfortable underfloor heating we enjoyed, but for us it was the family gatherings and memorable meals sitting round the dining table which we remember with joy.
Why they chose this property
This has to be everyone’s ideal place for family holidays or gatherings with friends. There is so much space in the lounge, sun room, open plan kitchen/dining area and huge hall. The rooms are flooded with natural light and the views over the Loch have to be seen to be appreciated.
We planned, designed and built Seabank House for ourselves and three children. It is a sociable space best filled with laughter and music but also a peaceful retreat for a relaxing time with family and friends.
What makes this property unique
The outdoor hot tub will be a major attraction! The excellent design and interesting interior will be hopefully enjoyed. Most of all the location and setting makes this property stand out from the norm. Appreciate the changing moods of the Loch from the comfort of this luxury home.
