The house, is the very last on the road by the beach of the village.
Up on the hill with a terrace with unlimited view ,overlooking the Bay, and across the peninsula Graamvoussa island where is famous Balos beach.
Each apartment capacity: 3 persons ,
Note: The price in here concerns only 1 apartment.
In each house:
Floor level : Kitchen (fully furnished -coffee maker- oven) and a sofa bed.

on loft : one double bed

Although further down from the house is a small port with sandy beach, the house has its own place to swim ( shared occasionally ) from 2 more houses of the same owner !
Is a really Great place , with a patio overlooking the Bay .
In winter, wood is provided for stoves to heat.
The village
Ravdoucha Village is one of the most beautiful and traditional places in Rodopos Peninsula, in CHANIA , West Crete.
30 kms West from the city of Chania, and 45 kms from the International airport CHQ ( by fast National road).
Τhis small village, of just 100 inhabitants is overlooking the gulf of Kissamos-Kastelli .
There are 2 taverns with days catch of fish and local recipes.

Feels like Paradise
We will be back! I think that tells everything. It is a quiet relaxing place. If you want to do sightseeing, you need to drive a little bit more, but if you look for a quiet place to read and slow down, then this is the place to be.

Paradiesisch!
Die Vorstellung der Beschreibung des Appartments wurden durch die Realität übertroffen. Trotz Ankunft kurz vor Mitternacht wurden wir von Nikos in der Taverne zur Schlüsselübergabe herzlich empfangen und zu einem Bier eingeladen. Im Appartment erwartete uns ein prall gefüllter Kühlschrank mit Köstlichkeiten aus Nikos Garten. Das bereitgestellte Frühstück reichte fast für die ganze Woche. Wir haben einen paradiesischen Urlaub mit griechischer Gastfreundschaft erleben dürfen.

Wunderbare Oase: Einfach die Seele baumeln lassen
Was für eine immense Freude, täglich aufs Meer sehen zu können, angefangen mit der pittoresk felsigen Küste der gesamten Bucht und ihrem kristallklaren, türkisen Wasser. Einmal haben wir in Kissamos Bay 2 springende Delphine gesehen - von unserer Badeplattform aus! Wir fühlten uns hier von Anfang an wie zu Hause und Dank Eleni und Nikos wärmstens willkommen. Der Kühlschrank war bei Ankunft am späten Abend gut gefüllt, es gab auch stetig Nachschub an Kartoffeln, Zwiebeln, Knoblauch und ganz frischen Feigen aus dem eigenen Garten. Vielen Dank noch einmal dafür! Unser Heim auf Zeit hat neben der Küche innen auch eine Außenkochgelegenheit, was großen Spaß machte, es ist auch ein Grill und ein Ofen vorhganden. Es gibt diverse schöne Sitzgelegenheiten für jeden Anlass. Direkt am Haus auf der Veranda ein großer Esstisch mit 2 Bänken, ein paar Sessel und Stühle, auf der Terrasse ein Esstisch für 4, dazu 2 Liegen unter einem Sonnenschirm. Bei unserer Ankunft war Neumond und für uns als Städter die Tiefschwärze vollkommen ungewohnt: Von den Liegen konnten wir die Milchstraße und einen reichen Sternenhimmel bewundern. Ein hübscher Weg durch einen reich blühenden Terrassen-Garten führt hinuter zur privaten Badestelle, die wir öfter für eine kurze Abkühlung nutzen - was für ein Privileg. Wir hatten in den 2 1/2 Wochen 2 verschiedene Nachbarn im Neben-Apartment, mit denen man sich die Terrasse teilt und natürlich auch die anderen mitbekommt - da hatten wir jeweils Glück und nette Nachbarn. Unser großes Vergnügen waren 2 Katzen, die uns erst sehr zögerlich und scheu zu besuchen begannen, dann aber regelmäßig morgens und abends hinter der Tonne vor der Veranda vorlugten und sich füttern ließen. Wir nannten sie Mikis und Elsa :-) In unserer letzten Nacht haben sich bei taghellem Fast-Vollmond auf der Straße hinter unserem Haus ein paar Schafe getümmelt, und getan, was Schafe so tun mitten in der Nacht! Ein Fest! Wer hier auf der Halbinsel Rodopou absteigt und die Einsamkeit genießen möchte, muss sich wappnen, dass es jeweils eine Serpentinenfahrt zum nächsten Supermarkt und Bäcker und Strandpromenaden bedeutet, wenn es auch 2 Tavernen in kürzerer und etwas weiterer Lauf-Entfernung unten in Ravdoucha gibt. Ansonsten ist es ein sehr guter Standort, um die sensationellen Strände an der Westküste zu erkunden, auch mehrere Fahrten durch die Berge in den Süden oder zum Wandern in einer der Schluchten haben wir unternommen. Vielen Dank, es war einfach wunderbar!

Ein wundervoller Ort
Wir sind angekommen und haben uns sofort wohl und verzaubert gefühlt. Die liebe Eleni hat uns alles gezeigt und wir wollten garnicht mehr weg. Wer einen kraftvollen, ruhigen Ort in der Natur sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Der Ausblick ist ein Traum. Der Garten ist mit viel Liebe gestaltet und das spürt man sehr. Ich konnte glatt für immer dort einziehen

Amazing place with an incredible view
We had a fantastic time at Nikos' wonderful place and were welcomed by him and his daughter Eleni very warmheartedly, who brought us fresh vegetables, fruits and everything we could have needed. It's necessary to have a car if you stay there, because it is off the beaten track. Therefore we had quiet days and nights, only "disturbed" by the goats that passed our home and the sound of the waves underneath.

Petit paradis sur terre
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans le logement de Nikos, décoré avec soin et goût. Ce dernier se situe à 45-60 min de très belles plages (au nord, près de Chania) à l'ouest et au sud. Il suffit de 30 min pour se rendre à Chania. Et si vous avez envie de buller, la plage privée vous tend les bras (elle est extrêmement agréable). Nikos est sa fille sont vraiment très gentils et très accueillants. Nikos nous a offert des légumes de son jardin, et Eleni a été d'excellent conseils. Merci à vous. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Yes, off the beaten path, just the way Anne and I wanted. Needed. A short walk to the local taverna for incredibly fresh meals. Impeccable service. Love this part of Crete! The VRBO apartment had everything we needed , plus some. The courtyard was huge, plenty of places to sit for coffee and meals, sun or shade. A very short, but steep walk down to the water. Perfectly beautifully landscaped. Also many nice walks around this pennisula. . We highly recommend this place many times over. Loved it! Thanks you 💟

Sehr schöner Ort in ruhiger Einzellage. Große Gastfreundlichkeit des Vermieters, gute Organisation. Wer einen ruhigen Ferienaufenthalt am Meer sucht ist hier richtig.
